I suffered a catastrophic prescribed drug injury that rendered me in a state of unrelenting torture for several years. Prior to this injury I was very active and capable in my life. Although I was not paying any attention to the profound, yet subtle lessons life was offering. I took freedom for granted. This injury was transformative, enabling me to become teachable. I am able now to find joy in the 'mundane' and appreciate the 'small' things. I've discovered the difference between consuming my freedom and truly respecting it. Having one's health is a treasure. I hope for a heaven where wellness and creativity are part of the 'mundane'
It wasn't the small moments that you appreciated but rather your inner self having joy and peace within those small moments. To try to force a perspective of "I'm enjoying these small moments compared to my freedom big moments" is a form of denial that at some point always comes back to fight against your peace. Instead of looking at moments as lessons to be learned, even lessons of physical pain juxtaposed against moments of no pain. As many many many years of back pain on top of life long bouts of bipolar depression and joy, I have now come to realize I AM still the same Being within all those moments. Seeking peace within my mind even during the painful moments inherently takes away all the fear I have during the joyful pain free moments, because I know the painful moments always come back and I have the comfort knowing I can have peace within my mind during the pain. And vice versa in the pain I can have peace. Being ok within myself wether up or down. Just like Jesus said, narrow is the gate. It is not an easy accomplishment, but it literally cannot be accomplished anywhere whatsoever except from within.
Such a powerful testimony, THXx! Thank you so much for sharing it. I wish you did not have to go through unrelenting torture, but it's amazing that you came through it with a bigger spirit and a greater openness to joy. I DO think that heaven is bristling with health and creativity -- we'll see! Thanks for tuning in, and glad you enjoyed the conversation!
Thank you Thomas for sharing your own strategy for finding peace even in painful times. Back pain and bi polar episodes are big things to navigate and we wish you a peaceful new year.
Emperor Joseph II of Austria (1741 to 1790) was a progressive ruler, with a genuine passion for making life better for others, the common people. Despite holding all the power and all the wealth, he faced heavy resistance from politics. He left this world burdened and disappointed, his epitaph reads: "Here lies a ruler who, despite his best intentions, was unsuccessful in all of his endeavors.". Regardless: Let’s all be emperors and empresses who find true joy and fulfillment in making things better for others.
Doing our work diligently, honestly, and faithfully is loving God and bringing heaven here and now! Thank you so much Curtis and Pastor Chuck and a happy new year to you all!!❤🙏

Thank you, robschasz, and same to you! I've never heard of Hogmanay before, so thanks for teaching me something new! And I've got some Scottish heritage, too!
I just love these videos! I've had numerous transcendent experiences in my life, including precognitive dreams. I had no words for many of these experiences - no way to describe them. Swedenborg's work has given me a framework to understand them (a bit) and even start to share them (occasionally!) Thanks for all you do!
Yes! There is only one truth and everyone sees their own illusion of it! Christ is like this, or He would want that. God told me: this is good for you. God is who He is and we all try to play along, but we must accept, we are children playing gods in His garden. And He loves us.

Paul says in Rom 2 those without The Truth [Law, Bible, Scripture] who do GOD'S Will justify themselves because GOD'S WORD is written in their hearts. Good Samaritan parable fits Math 7 where JESUS talks about Judgment of those who did Good and those who didn't. Many who are snug believing their prayers assures Salvation, will be shocked if they aren't doing GOD'S Desire. If you think no Muslims or others will be in Heaven, that's not correct. They are taught Truths in The Heavens. Even Angels who teach continue to learn.

I hope someone can explain this to me, but I think all of this is dreams. We have billions of people on this earth and I don't think all these beings go somewhere when they die. How long is eternity? I feel as organisms we just die. It would be great if this was real. This last question to all. Why no one from the Bible has a tomb or we can factually check? The Bible is a repeat of the Book of the Dead. These all stories for comfort to humans. I'm open minded so please help me with this. It seems like an elaborate story.
I used to think like you. But was convinced by near-death experiences, and in particular, the ones involving a miraculous healing that the medical doctors could testify really happened. There are also some cases where the "temporarily dead person" saw they had a dead brother or sister that they never heard about, and then they ask their parents if they really had a sibling who died before their birth, and turned out it was right. ...Of course, one can always dismiss those stories as being "part of the lie". But personally, they convinced me. There are just too many and a lot of the people to whom this happened do not really talk much about it (which they would if they did lie to "comfort people and get attention"). There is this part of human consciousness that we really do not understand (yet?), commonly called "soul", which seems to allow those phenomenon that seem magical. Religions were, IMHO, an attempt by out ancestors to understand them, as we have records of NDE happening in ancient times, like in Greece. Religious stories are not all factual. Many are symbolic, just like the dream-like imagery people experience in NDEs.
Well, Maroonpanther, as long as you're thinking of eternal life as part of space and time, it won't make sense. The spiritual world doesn't take up physical space -- just like our thoughts and feelings don't -- so we don't go somewhere physical when we die. Our spirit just lives on in a different dimension. And we can't grasp the idea of eternity, either, bound to time as we are on earth. But most of us have had an experience of being "outside of time" -- when we got lost in an art project, or when we're with someone we love, and our experience of time passing bears no relation to the clock or calendar. But we get to *choose* how we want to believe, as nothing about the spiritual realm can be proven. We get to choose how to hold The Bible or the Book of the Dead or any sacred or inspirational text. What ideas ring true in your heart? What ideas help you live a better life, and nourish love for others in your heart?

In my opinion the United States 🇺🇸 is heaven in of itself but many people take it for granted and make a heaven a hell due to greed
