I have experienced a heavenly peace once . I was having a crisis situation once and remembered a friend telling me to stand on psalm 91. I remember just in my mind just giving this situation to God and all of a sudden a peace came over me and stayed with me all night. When I woke up the next morning it was gone. I do remember thinking to myself it was angels that brought it. It felt like nothing from the earth.
What a blessing of an experience, Sibyl! Very powerful. It's a good reminder to all of us that we can try putting ourselves in God's hands like this -- and may we all find a similar peace in doing so!

I am loving the rhetoric and the banter. I think I might be listening to two people who? have found the peace of God that passes all understanding. The surrender to God's will in all matters is the full acceptance that if this happened or you did this etc is always exactly as God planned it to go and he never makes mistakes. Living knowing you are in service is different from just living in service because it's the right thing to do. Trust not on your own understanding. The darkest hours will be behind us soon and heavenly peace will be the order of the day as they say. LAW to you all and your families ❤️🙏 Ramanamma Who?
Letting go of the conscious mind, where it’s a place of chaos, competition, control, fears, etc-it’s the ego mind. That you don’t have to live up to it, all of us have these bags of manure that we carry around. Going beyond it, and make peace of the unknown, which is within us…and embrace the silence, it’s a way to know and connect with God and the Heavens.

Yes our lower mind cannot really grasp the spiritual things, Darren. Fortunately God gave us a higher ability in our minds, to raise them above the appearances.

He certainly didn't use those terms, Ellen, and I actually can't think of anywhere that he discusses the concept.... I'll see if the other moderators can think of anything along these lines. It certainly is a real factor for many folks, and it does SEEM to do a kind of permanent damage. I like to think that THAT is the kind of "earthly concern" that falls away when we leave our bodies behind and step fully into the spiritual realm. Blessings to all who are dealing with that.

What he DOES talk about, Ellen, is what he refers to as "remnants" -- states of goodness and truth and innocence that are stored up in our deepest self from the time we are babies. Swedenborg says those stored-up "treasures" are what allow us to face our battles as we mature and head into our spiritual development. That's why I used the word "SEEM" up above -- because Swedenborg says those states are there to help us in the damaged times. That said, in severe cases, perhaps there is a shortage of those inner states to help sustain us. But I trust God is in there somewhere, working as hard as he can for our welfare! And that there is time for healing and renewal on the other side, before we choose our eternal home. These are just the thoughts of one of the moderators. Would love to hear some thoughts from you, if you have some to share.

I find that happens to me, too, so I just keep listening and the little pieces tend to come together. Release any pressure to be the "right path" and the truth will be revealed.

I love this listening to this channel, and I applaud your work in enlightening people about God, heaven, and Swedenborg, but I am now on the 4th commercial in less than 20 minutes. The constant interruptions are annoying.
So sorry about that, kaseylv. We used to not have commercials, but that severely limited the spread that RUclips was willing to give our videos. So we went back to allowing commercials, in the hopes that more people would get the chance to hear them. All these social media platforms have their challenges.
