I'm so sorry for your loss, and I wish you good luck in your fitness goal! I got some great advice once on portion control: Your protein should be the size of your palm; your complex carbs should be one handful; and your low-carb veggies should be TWO handfuls. If you cut out the carbs, then treat yourself to two helpings of low-carb veggies. Fill up on those low-carb veggies and you'll see a huge difference.
It'll be a year in 2 days since I began my weight loss on feb 17 2022. I started out at 515 lbs, and I am now 370 lbs (-145). Its so important to share your stories because I can tell you I keep coming back to videos like these and every time I get one more day of motivation out of it. Thanks for videos like this. When I finish my weight loss (I know I will) I'm going to share my story too to whoever will listen so I can hopefully give at least one person one day of motivation.
@joelcamilo28 i just educated myself about nutrition for the first time. It takes more than just knowing what to eat for someone like me. I need to know why things are better than others and how my body digests different foods differently. The biggest thing is just tracking every calorie ive eaten since i began on myfitnesspal. I weigh all my food and measure it every single meal. I eat 1800 calories a day. At 500 lbs exercise isnt really practical. I did some light exercise and it was very miserable until i lost the first 50 or so lbs. Now im doing 30-45 mins of hiit cardio as well as weight lifting 5 days a week. When it comes to weight lifting, dont stop until u physically cant lift the weight anymore, or you cant lift it with proper form. If you feel an injury coming on obviously stop lol. Thats pretty much it. Hardest part is just staying consistent, but after awhile it becomes a habit and it feels horrible not to do it
@@noobdave474 awesome!! Very similar to what I’m doing at the moment have only been at it for a couple weeks tho.. one question I do have is are you doing hiit all those 5 days ?
@joelcamilo28 realistically no. Its the goal but sometimes i only do 4. I am still 367 lbs rn so i have to be careful about injuries. Im doing exercises that a man my size probably shouldnt. I should be doing low impact things. But im addicted to pushing myself to test my limits. If i have a bad knee day or some back pain, ill take 3 days off.
I started at 385lbs, I'm now 275lbs in less than a year and I hardly EVER go to the gym. If I do any workouts, I lift weights in my bedroom (barbell curls). Losing weight is ALL MENTAL. Change what TIME you eat and stop getting extra of everything. Sometimes only eat one meal a day. Some days don't eat at all and just drink water. YOU HAVE TO BUY A SCALE. Seeing the weight loss on a scale will MOTIVATE you to keep going. But be mindful, as you see the weight come off, don't let it MENTALLY make you think it's ok to go back to your old eating habits. So many people look up to your journey Brix! It’s great to see you giving back and shining the spotlight on others! Kudos to him he’s done a FANTASTIC job! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I hope to be interviewed by you at the end of my journey as well 😊
This guy looks like a whole different person. Congrats to him! So inspiring bro.
Thanks 🙏🏽💯🤝🏾
I been on a slow weight loss journey since November 2021 lost 38 pounds since but in the last month I been slacking started back eating bogus and hardly working out i haven’t started gaining the weight back but I’m definitely losing motivation. Everything y’all discussed is what I think I needed to hear. I appreciate it man Foreal. I’m bout to get up off my ass and go get it.
You got this man. I swear I was feeling the same as you this morning; then I thought about my kids and how I need to get myself in shape....within 10mins of that thought, my wife texted me about us hitting the gym tomorrow THEN this video popped up....definitely motivation.
Dude I swear I'm on the same boat cuz , but I definitely glad coach Chris found this lil homie . This the inspiration I needed to push let's get it bro 💪🏾 💯💯💯
You got this! Everyday is an investment into your body and consistency is key 💪🏽
Great comment we all can relate too. When I feel that way I know its time for a long walk to clear my head. Sometimes we lose motivation because we think too much. A simple walk is a workout for the day. Stay blessed.
You need discipline, not motivation
This video was very inspiring for me. When you talked about having the food in the house you was going to eat it. Same exact thing for me for several of your points. I have struggled my entire life with weight. I'm 63 and need to lose 85 lbs. It is a struggle, but watching these video's have given me hope. Thank you for sharing.
My man 🙏🏽💯💪🏽
You got this 👏👏
I can see the difference in his facial expressions in the before and after photos. In the after photo, he looks happy and confident. Congratulations to him. Keep it up!
Thank you 💯💪🏽
This young man is very relatable.
Love this young bruthas mindset and demeanor. I have no doubts about his future if he continues on his path. Keep the faith young 👑

I've been watching you for years been on a wieght lost journey on and off. Started again back in August 2022. I'm down about 43 pounds now going stronger in to the new year intermediate fasting stronger than ever. And highly motivated. You a blessing man thank you.

@@ljjuiceman4922 🤝 no problem! God bless you too bro! 🙏🏽
Dope interview! It's powerful having black men sit down and be transparent and introspective with each other. Especially for the people experiencing similar journeys like myself. I appreciate the insight.
💯🙏🏽
Good stuff, my brothers. You never know who you're inspiring with your journey. Stay up!
I live for these interviews Brix!!!! Keep them coming it's great content
I felt buddy's pain when he was talking about going to the gym to play pickup. I've experienced being stereotyped in the gym because of my size, even if I'm better than majority of the guys on the court. I can't wait until I get where he's at for sure! 💪🏾
Keep going bro! 💪🏽😤 💯
Love these videos, I watch them while I hit cardio. They keep me going. Just started my journey over 2 weeks ago recently after hitting 360lbs my heaviest, keep up the content man appreciate it!
This is crazy respect for this guy. I just came out the gym it was my 2nd time I feel great and I keep moving
This motivation no cap glad I came across this channel 🔥🔥🔥 280 omw to 180
Thanks for posting this.. I am 435 pounds and now I am motivated to start making changes..

@@Tyshon Thanks a lot bro, and thank you for sharing your journey. I am starting OMAD and the gym tomorrow. A dozen baked chicken wings and a bag of frozen broccoli, both my favorite food and favorite vegetable. 💪🏾 #Salute
Inspiring. I’m on my journey now. I’m glad I never got as heavy as he did. But I’m actively trying to get where he’s at. 💯
💯💪🏽🙏🏽
This may be the best one. His means were extreme but it worked for him. I feel y’all though on keeping stuff out of the crib. Every day I ask “why ain’t no snacks in this house!!” and I remember I made it that way lol.
Yesssirrrr gotta keep it out the crib until you’re strong enough! 💪🏽😤
Yall dont know how much your conversation really motivated me to continue my weight loss journey. I was feeling like whats the point. Its taking to long. After hearing the both of you talking about your journey and celebrate the small victories. It helped me get back on track. Hopefully a year from now i can be on your channel telling my story. Thx bro for the inspiration.
Glad it inspired you! Keep going this time! You can do it 💪🏽😤
@@Tyshon thanks bro i really appreciate it. Ur journey inspired me. People who never been over weight dont know the little things that u cant do when ur over weight that u wish u can do. I really relate to ur story. Thx u for inspiring me bro

I'm at 407 former football player and want to drop down to 245 in a year this video was very helpful THANK YOU!
Man this video motivated me tonight. i'm down 53.6 from 408. i have tried losing weight many times before and always ended up failing. i also struggle with some really bad anxiety to the point that i never leave my house which in turn has caused me to miss out so much in life. i have never had a job or been in a relationship. this all lead me to cope with drugs, alcohol, and obviously food. I've since quit all drugs and stopped drinking and right now losing weight is my top priority. thanks for the video.
Love to hear that bro! Keep going 💪🏽🙏🏽
@@Tyshon Yo thank you for the inspiration man. just gotta keep going been checking out your videos since last night. amazing transformation.

Bro I’m in the same boat and watching this clip hit me really hard in a good way. I’m a 39 years young man and I started working out 2 years ago and still didn’t hit the weight limit like you did. I want to say that you inspired the hell outta me bro along with the big homie because you guys were me back then as I still am the same guy today. I’m still working hard but it’s hard…..It is what it is I’m not a quitter so keep making these vids and imma take from it and meet my goal. One day at a time……Y’all keep the Inspiration going LOVE!!! 💯💯

love these features. def could watch these all day and get inspired. Great vid as always
Congratulations on all your success Tyshon, keep up the good work! Your story was very inspiring and I can relate to you. When you told Rob about how you used to go into the mall & you would have to go into about 5 or 6 different stores before you could find your size or order your clothes on-line, that hit home! I know exactly how you felt! I"m going through that right now & I'm honestly having a hard time staying on my journey. I'm the heaviest I've ever been & I NEED to lose weight...I"m going to lose weight!
I live my life like “what if I didn’t have the legs or arms to do so” that’s what pushes me fr…this is sooooo inspirational because I’m just starting out & it does get hard mentally but I always think of the future 💪🏽💪🏽
🙏🏽🙏🏽
This was great... really proud of that young guy... he's motivating as I am on my weight loss journey
Really motivational! Congrats to him!! I’m also on a weight loss journey. Slowly but surely. The main focus for me is to get stronger, instead of what the scale says. That motivates me a lot more! Scale does not equal success! Keep it up! 💪💪
💯💪🏽🙏🏽
Homie sound like he from TX lol this is dope to see right now i literally just started my journey again with the attitude of this time ima do it all the way.. i needed this motivation... i never been a deserts or sweets guy i literally just eat too much food... congrats to homie on his weight loss
