      Nomadic J Video Productions Where are you? Gat Puno has been wanting to start a training group here in Northern California for years but not enough people willing to seriously train around here. Everyone has their own style(s) they train in around here. Garimot system is hard training! Buno is savage.

    I hope you will open up here in houston, TX somedady. This art is secret in the philippines that is why foreign MA there is popular like taekwando, aikido,Karatedo , shotokan etc. I am not young anymore but will use the art as a good work-out. I want my nephews to learn this MA as well.TRACMA by Trovador Ramos is good too wondering not hearing it anymore.

      Most eskrimadors in the past fought for real for pride and honor, no money involvement..it was for bragging rights! like in Cebu (BALINTAWAK VS DOCE PARES) unfortunately no cameras were there to record it. Respect the elders.

      We've met many instructors that don't like to be called Grandmaster or master. They are the most humble and nicest people, but they're not afraid to throw down if they have to.

    Always a blade art. It’s like karate with pads. One blade or strike can be fatal .
    Sticks are a false sense of security

    • @FMAPulse
      @FMAPulse  5 лет назад +3

      Blunt objects like sticks and batons has its place. Blades are for sure the real deal.

    • @m0i4x
      @m0i4x 4 года назад +2

      sticks and blades have their own advantages.. sticks are much lighter and much faster than blades of the same size and length.. whoever hits a clean one first always has the advantage. without protective gear, try receiving a clean hit from a training stick first and see if you can still continue attacking with a blade.
