Queen doing thrash metal before there was a thing called thrash metal.
There are definitely some more Queen Metal songs: Ogre Battle, Son and Daughter, Liar, Father to Son, The Hitman, Gimme the Prize, Sheer Heart Attack, White Man…
I actually prefer the live version …. It’s more intense
I don’t think any band should get a Grammy for a remake of another song.
I have the long playing record of this album. At the back, there's a note saying "No synthesizers were used in the making of this album". They had this note behind all their early albums. Right up to "Jazz", I think. BTW, there's another great song from this album called "Tenement Funster". Written and sung by drummer Roger Taylor.
The live version from The Rainbow 1974 is fantastic - real attitude from all of them!
Queen is pretty awesome. This song still kicks ass.
