In person doctors have no clue what they are doing and seem to not care as long as they are getting their insurance payments. I'm so happy we have doctors like you and several others I follow these days on the internet. Of course my in person doctors tell me not to believe what I see on the internet as they write a referral to a specialist who has no clue, referral for expensive testing ie MRI, CT scan or ultra sound. The answers are right here. So frustrating .... thanks doc.

( locks up right side of neck and shoulder pain) I went to the doctor and same response. Here it is my liver. Thank you Dr Berg! I’ve been doing everything you say since February 1, 2023. I had terrible right shoulder pain. I have crushed my shoulder skiing (both shoulders really) and after two years on the keto diet, I hardly even remember it. I need to eat more vegetables, however, and I know it, because I'm a carnivore mostly. I'm also an ostomate since 2012, and eating keto has changed my entire game. It has allowed me to live normally while maintaining an active life. Naturally, I can't be the hard-core guy I used to be, but I'm 62 and life is pretty good, but watching my diet has literally changed my life, and you have been elemental in my challenge. Thank you, sir.

I’ve been dealing with this issue for over a decade now. Just gotten a little worse as an adult & I have more discomfort than pain(like my upper RT side has been over worked) I was always told it was a knot in that area that was in he cause and it shall eventually go away. The examples you’ve described is what I do everyday. I tried the “ under the rib” technique and it worked!! I’ve done a diet change last year where I did OMAD of fresh fruits and veggies & lost 30lbs in 30 days (only did it for weight loss) but noticed my discomfort was practically non existent🙌 I’ll definitely switch back along with including your regiments. Thank you Doctor!🙏You are a true healer ❤️

I had this very problem for over 25 years. Consulted with dr.'s, surgeons, and saw a multitude of physiotherapists, and nobody offered a single viable theory as to the underlying cause, nor a viable solution. It took Dr. Berg's videos and changing my diet to very-low carb (mainly carnivore), zero seed oil, zero sugar, and a weekly 48 hour water and TUDCA fast to completely resolve the problem. Thank you Dr. Berg! I owe you one!

I've dealt with rhomboid pain for probably about 30 years. It almost feels like I'm getting stabbed in that area if I'm on vacation and doing lots of walking. After I lay on my back for a couple minutes it would relax and then slowly tense back up.
Most doctors I've seen over the years were pretty worthless. They would just prescribed muscle relaxers which is not helping the underlying cause.
Ive been weightlifting for 28 years and no amount of strengthing helped either. Three years ago I went to see a sports medicine doctor who sent me to an amazing physical therapist. She diagnosed me with extremely tight pecs, tight lats, weak serstus anterior, weak middle and lower traps. Basically my pecs were pulling my shoulders forward and my rhomboids were doing all the work to hold them back with no help from the middle or lower traps. They would quickly fatique and hurt. She gave me a few dozen stretches and strengthing exercises to add to my routine. It took about a year, but I have zero rhomboid pain now. I can stand all day with no issues.
All this worked improved my workouts too. My shoulder range of motion is amazing...better than its ever been. To this day I still use all of her stretches and strengthening exercises mixed onto my regular program.

@@krystalmy2000 It probably is. You may have the same tightness, and muscle imbalances like I did. A good PT can do some tests to figure it out. Personally I wouldn't waste time with a regular doctor....I did many times.
If you do go down the physical therapist road, keep in mind it'll be a lifestyle change. Most people think they can go to 5 or 10 sessions and they'll be cured for life. I did the exercises and stretches daily at home. It took about 4 months until I noticed an improvement. After about a year I was 80% better. Three years in, I'd say I'm 95%....hard to undo 30 years of damage. I still do all the stuff she gave me every day. I mix it in my regular weight lifting program during my rest sessions. On non-weightlifting days, I do them as a cool down after cardio. It only takes about 10 minutes.
The only time it slightly bothers me is if we go on a long vacation with tons of walking and standing (like 15k to 20k steps per day). It may feel a little sore by day 6 or so but I no longer get the stabbing pain. It's very tolerable.

I struggled for the first 20 years of my life with regular headaches. Nothing I did resolved them. I didn't learn the cause until I was 26. Here is how I eliminated headaches from my life.
First, focus on the first 2 minutes of this video. Pay attention to the locations of those nerves. It is absolutely critical that you understand that there are nerves in your body which travel through your neck and shoulders. In the video, Dr. Berg suggests that the more common cause is from organ inflammation. I would counter that there is actually a much more common cause than that - sitting.
Our body is covered by muscles. Muscles are made up of fibers. You can imagine them as strings. When we sit for extended hours; or when we use our bodies improperly, these strings gain tension and they start to pull in areas called "knots". Dr.Berg referred to these knots in this video; and mentioned that the relief from massaging them is temporary. This is true.
However; the knots come back because a massage does not change the habits that formed the knots in the first place. You can get a massage once a week; but you will still redevelop the same knots because your habits are the same. So, now that you understand that knots create inflammation; which puts pressure on the nerves; which causes referred pain... what can you do about it?
You must pay attention to how often you sit. Beleive it or not; sitting is the true root cause of most headaches. When the human body stays in a sitting position for many hours of the day; it creates knots and trigger points in areas that pressure the nerve; resulting in pain and headaches. Personally; the breakthrough for me occurred after I had a horrific migraine after a 12 hour bus ride. I couldn't figure out what happened. I ate properly. I drank plenty of water. Why did I get so sick after that busride?
It was from sitting. Once I eliminated sitting from my life as much as possible, my headaches vanished entirely. I no longer sit to use the computer. I stand. This alone almost completely eliminated headaches from my life. These days; the only times I get headaches are when I sit for extended periods of time without moving.
You can also learn to sit cross legged, in something called the half lotus position. This position is the least damaging to the human body. However; all sitting is damaging to the body. Even monks who meditate have to move their muscles correctly to prevent their bodies from becoming tight and damaged. Sitting is very damaging to the body. You must understand this if you wish to overcome your headaches and muscle pains

I , 44 yrs, had inflamation, burning pain esp in old injurys, overweight, abdo pain, indigestion, sinus issue, coughing and clearing throat often, had carreer altering back pain, all getting worse over time. Cured by a diet of roast beef, pork or lamb and steam up a big pot of cabbage, carrots, brocoli, cauliflour, onion and sweet potato (bake sweet potato and onion, makes it taste good) sometimes put a jar of minced garlic in it. Use olive oil only. I drink some a2 milk and eat nuts but only macadamia, walnut, pistachio and hazelnuts, and thats it, quit all other foods.
I do intermittent fasting sometimes esp when portion sizes have been sneaking up.
After great success with the results of the diet over 18 months or so, lost 18 kilos dispite daily home brew beer o'clock habit, I now only drink on weekends which has given further improvements, lately it feels like what I emagine being on steroids is like.

I feel it in my neck, too. My DO showed me how I can find the pressure point (below the posterior scapula) to help somewhat. Getting the blood moving helps. FWIW, so did magnesium supplementation, and keto-both helped greatly.

Hi Dr. Berg you did this video definitely for me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so so much. I have been having this right shoulder, right side and all my right side pain for years. I especially have them when I eat meat and on my menstrual cycle. All doctor said it's endometriosis and all. I took so many medication and none really works. I am just pain tired of going to doctors. I tried the vegan diet got some relieve but seem to be lack of b12, also did the keto and lost a lot of weight on my belly area but have the pain on the right but now I think I need to do keto the right way with more vegetables. Oh God bless you Dr. Berg and your family thank you again and again. We are 2 of a kind love helping people we are born in the same month.💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

The top foods that irritate the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts:
    • Grains
    • Sugars
    • Omega-6 oils
    • Nut butters
    • Alcohol
    • Junk foods
    • Processed foods
Consuming heavy meals or frequent meals can also irritate these areas.
Instead, try consuming meals that consist of high-quality protein, fats, and vegetables. I also suggest doing intermittent fasting.
Natural remedies to support the liver, gallbladder, and bile ducts:
    1. TUDCA
    2. Bile salts
If the pain is not referred, try using mobility sticks to help you stretch your body and relieve the pain.
    Thank you Dr Berg!

Hi Dr. Berg, do you think there could be possibility that the Dorsal Scapular Nerve pain could also traverse down to Ulnar Nerve reaching pinky finger? I have been through shingles around my neck area and always connected my persisting neck and ulnar nerve pain to the shingles, so I'm wondering if it's just the liver pressing on DSN nerve.

I had my gallbladder removed at 50, and was not eating well at the time. I have since lost 60# over a year ago went 90% carnivore. I still eat raw veggies, I love them as I grew up on a produce farm. I still have the pain over the right shoulder and about two years post gallbladder surgery, I had a large lipoma right over the spot where the shoulder hurt. Dr. told me it was just a bunch of jumbled nerves and irritation...Not really sure if that was the truth or not. Now it rarely bothers me but my chiropractor had me become very cognizant of my poor posture and it has improved greatly since then.

Whenever I have had rhomboid pain, it has always been consistent with one of two causes: gluten or covid. Several days to a week of extreme pain in the rhomboid. So the cure for me is to let covid take its course, or avoid gluten at all costs. I didn’t used to get pains from gluten when I was younger, so don’t cross that off as a potential cause if you’ve been eating gluten all your life. Our wheat supply has changed over decades with the usage of glyphosate and other agrochemicals.

I have been waking up 2-3 times a night with my arms completely asleep, sometimes it gets painful & even when it's not painful it is very uncomfortable. I have to get up & stand or sit upright for it to stop. I think it has something to do with my Back but I am not sure. It's burning me out though

Dr Berg, TUDCA comes in differing dosages. How many millgrams should those two capsules optimally be? Also how many milligrams for the alternate bile salt & I have been using your Gallbladder Formula - should I continue along with these new supplements? I dont have a gall bladder since Im 27 and the Gallbladder Formula seems to be helping with weight loss. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on my questions.

I have had shoulder pain for 20 years. The pain felt like lava being poured over my shoulder😢. I believe I have sludge obstructing bile ducts putting pressure the phrenic nerve. Now eliminating sugar. How long is the process for sludge elimination?
