Nothing brought me here, I just LOVE MGS1 and the Algorithm knows. Always assumed explosives would trigger the other explosives, so it was the devs forcing you out to a gun duel with ocelot. Seems like it was all my headcanon, this is probably how Snake would have really dealt with him.
Oh and yeah i believe this is how Solid Snake beats his opponent's and sets him apart from the other MG protags.... he doesn't play by the bosses rule if theres an exploitable weakness he'll just take it TLDR he doesn't respect the 1v1 lol

@@manlymcbeefinton2014 see i never would of thought to use stun nades on him either lol i usally just run back n forth in corner to get him. only other bosses give me issue is the hind fight and the first stage of metal gear fight
@@jacobsir1320 yeah the hind can be annoying i usually just peekaboo him from the middle container and if your under it its harder for it to shoot you, as for Rex you can use the chaff nades to make its missiles inaccurate and it uses it weaponry different depending on where snake is Close range - lazer Mid range - machine gun Long range - Missile Try to make it do one move while your in position of an other. What i do is go close range so it'll fire its lazer Get in mid range, launch stinger, Move to close range, dodge the machine gun stinger, repeat hope this helps

This was on the GOG version of the game with tbe widescreen mod with the fanmade mgsi launcher
