I did a double Gundo Hack on my '99 Porsche 996. PERFECT !! It is neighborhood friendly at low RPM's. But, when I hit 4500 rpm's it sounds like it is on the RACE TRACK ! w/ back off POPS and all.

Definitely a much improved sound and absolutely love the quad tips. May not be “Porche”-esc but from an ole guy it looks extremely cool! An ole Native American once told me, “if look like S$@#!, smell like s$@#! Must be s$@#”… through extrapolation “if look cool! Sound cool! Must be cool!!!
Now all you need is the "ANSA Decal Sticker Set" for both sides of the chrome tips & the red heat resistant tape stripes that go between the black & Chrome finish. That was how they came from the factory. It would be good idea to find a decal printer on line to duplicate the originals in heat resistant stickers. I love ANSA's......used on all the 50'-80's European cars. They even made them for Vettes. That sports exhaust division has been discontinued, & now they only make o.e. exhaust from what I can tell. You're lucky you got that one.....now just the universal resonated tips that once sold for $50 go for $500-+++++!
That exhaust probably now goes for about $3000!!!!NOS!
Great job!!, and thank you for not playing the crappy music you used to. I couldn’t watch your video’s anymore. The ANSA exhaust sounds mint. I believe that was the choice upgrade for that car. I remember my dad had a 1981 bmw 320i and had put an ansa exhaust on it. It sounded like a race car and I loved it !!😁😁🇨🇦🇨🇦
I think the aggressive look it gave it out weighs the sound but it definitely did improve the sound as well...its gonna be more noticeable to you really on the sound but the style it has now added to the characteristics of the car which is always a win! I dont think you went wrong anywhere with this mod plus its Built on a budget which is the long term goal always at least it is for me that's what's so great about this channel and your content..DIY projects and budget building...Idk anything about an air cooled engine besides lawn mowers or older dirt bikes and ATV's so not sure what's happening with the car at least through the speaker on my cellphone 😄 but I have confidence in you man lol...love the content in this video keep it coming!

You have an exhaust leak it’s still it’s very notice,
You are going to burn the overriders to smithereens,
Adjust the bumper bracket and you’ll adjust the bumper same time.
We get the same style mufflers for Beetles they do sound awesome 👏

The Anza exhaust for the 911 was extremely popular back in the 70-80's. Don't know if they still make them, but you scored and it looks and sounds cool.
Also, as far as the cold start issues, have you checked into the warm up regulator?

Do they make LED/HID kits for this unit? I don't imagine it's great driving at night. My e30 used to be a sunlight car due to crap headlights.
Put a 930 oil cooler in the front right wheel well and you won't have any problems with cooling... Great car! I had a 1983 911sc 3L that i put 369K miles on before this girl was texting and "T-Boned" me at the left front wheel n door... Miss that car so bad...

Nice ride…… I had a 74 911 loved it but the top leaked like crazy. Could not drive it when it was raining ended up trading it for a hard top.
I would love to see your porsche with the "spoiler thingy" that you used on the mgb gt and make the "rear trunk" from fiberglass so you could still save the original one

The new exhaust sounds tighter. Probably from that X pipe pulling. You look at home behind the wheel of that car brother.
Improvement in sound but must address those tail pipes. Definitely not the right look. Go for bilateral single tips.

So something I've been doing for a long time every time I get a new car and it doesn't have an exhaust I dropped the muffler cut a hole in it a square hole cut all the baffling out put the top back on it weld it up keep that hot dog you can do your own exhaust sound with it
