- Good friend of mine wanted to see the difference between his full bolt-on setup and my 9L setup, so we grabbed a lane. He's a good sport, didn't let out and kept on it through 5th. I gave him a ride in the snake afterwards, and we may have another 9L owner in the near future!
Bolt on car mods: filter, full exhaust, arrow ecu, DSE heat shielding mods, pump 93.
Sneakysnake: 550ci billet stroker, heads, cam, full bolt on. Pump 93.
The N/A neck snapping torque and throttle response is real

Props to the components and builder of the 9.0. I’ve been watching for a while and it seems to be holding up good to the use and abuse.

@@johnlukach4091 Corvette's are awesome but you can find one anywhere, Vipers on the other hand are special. Not many around
yea family owned just about every corvette after each generation down to the zr1 but man lately seeing this guy's videos and owning a srt-10 ram a couple years ago I can now see the potential. but yes rarely see any vipers nowadays possibly seen maybe 4 in the wild luckily one of them being an ACR since they came out.
@@dre3sta you're a lucky man! I always wanted a Ram SRT10! And I've maybe only ever seen 5 in my life. One being a first generation, two being second generations, and the other 3 were 3rd and 4th gens. I've yet to even see a 5th gen viper in person.

Imagine that this car has a bigger engine than many buses today.

Yeah you pull hard but a big lead means you're literally moving before him. That's why taking the hit changes a lot. It's crazy to see a car pull another car over and over then gives other driver a small split second hit same car gets walked by other car. No doubt your faster but faster car and the hit makes it look a lot worse than it is

lol dude would never have traction with these tires. He's already got insane torque from the 9.0, can't even imagine what the torque would be with 1000hp.

What do the heat shielding mods do ?
They shield the IAT sensors that are sitting in the intake tubes (with the MAF) that get heat soaked by the radiator fans. Heat shield allows the car to see (truer) intake air temps and allows for more aggressive ignition timing (more power).
