Thank you for this. I am new to this medical coding industry. I am now enrolled in the CPC program through AAPC. My background is retail management so this will be a career change for me. Your videos help bring me clarity on some things. Very informative 🙂

Thank you so much for the great information!! I passed my CPC-A a year ago and I have been having such a hard time finding employment. I've attended local chapter meetings, however I've found that my local chapter is kind of "clickish". However, I appreciate this information you've provided, and will be applying these tips going forward. ❤🙏🏾

I hear you! But keep attending. In my experience as you continue to attend the opportunities begin to grow. Every new year there is a new board of officers and maybe the freshness of the officers can help break the monotony of the clicks. If you are able to do so don’t just limit yourself to the local chapters. Attend other chapters (virtual and in person) voice that you are looking for a job. Just like anything else it’s a grind and I know you have been working hard to get your foot in the door but eventually you’ll make the right connections and open up doors for your career. Thank you for watching! ☺️☺️ best of luck

I AM A CPC-A 2022 looking for entry level positions, would like to know what should I do to upgrade my skill for a better job oppurtunity ,do i need to do another certification ? ,applied for many but no response same everybody is looking for experienced candidates .

No another certification would not really help you need to get experience. Look for entry level jobs just to gain that experience like scheduling, billing, medical records, registration, insurance verification, precertification etc. any job that doesn’t require you to have prior medical coding experience but exposes you to the revenue cycle.
