  • In this video, Athletic Trainer and AMP Recovery Lab director, Mike Stella, demonstrates a full arm care manual therapy session. For pitchers in baseball, regular manual therapy sessions can be a game changer when it comes to durability and injury prevention over the course of a long competitive season. Mike demonstrates the use of myofascial and active release techniques, and Graston Technique (IASTM) with emphasis on their use and efficacy for pitchers. This is an example of a more "general" arm care session, which would be typical for a pitcher to receive in between starts or outings. Check out www.ampathletes.com/recoverylab for more details!

I really enjoy reading the extra text on the screen during these videos!
I almost want to do a popup video style rendition of your videos highlighting every time you make references to specific muscles and medical terminology. Instead, I have just begun writing them in a notebook to make that mental connection for myself.
Thank you for helping to further my education. :)
