Re: Sea Sickness Try putting a cotton ball over your belly button and then firmly tape it there with a strip of medial tape, or wrap a linen sash about the waist to hold the cotton in place. This is a pressure point, called the shenque in Traditional Chinese Medicine, which means the Memorial Gate. It is the path to the five major internal organs. I have recommended this technique to many, and many have had great success with this method. Does not cost anything to try it. :)
Interesting... We saw hokulea come into Monterey. I wonder if we crossed paths this past summer as we were going north. Glad you had some good times in SF, and got to experience some of the attractions and anchorages!
I think we must have crossed paths as we also saw Hokulea in Monterey! We did enjoy the SF Bay, but as you can probably tell, neither of us are city folks, so we enjoyed the more quiet parts of the bay over the city scape. Thanks for the thoughtful comments! -Trevor & Kat
A fun episode! Looks like you two did a variety of things. I didn’t stay in San Fran long when we sailed from Astoria, because I had to catch a plane the next morning. The Captain of the boat then went to Half Moon bay which I hear is a nice place. BTW, I got to visit Hokuleas when it was in Juneau, which is where it started its journey down the west coast. I guess the Alaska natives donated the trees that were used to build the hulls.
Hi....what's the shower pump brand name?? You were peaceful there. I always figure California is not that far from BC so don't have to scramble to see everything.
Its a "Base Camp Expedition" brand. It came with SDOC, so not sure to buy it, but it is awesome! USB rechargeable and water pressure like any old shower. Here in Mexico, we're simple heating water in a black bucket using the sun alone!
The little, but might Silva Yacht Club! Regarding the all powerful algorithm, my understanding is that engagement with viewers through comments and likes will prompt RUclips to share the video to a wider audience. Its is all very strange to me. One video will do great while another will flop for no apparent reason. But for me, I enjoy making them and I'm happy people enjoy watching them. If I can make a few bux in the process, that's pretty groovy, too! Thanks for your support Jerry!

Very interesting! We'll give it a try! Thanks for sharing. :)
You both look so happy,
We were thrilled to relaxing and enjoying that warm California air!

The Bay area was fun, if a bit overwhelming for nature lovers like us! Cool to know about the source of wood for Hokuleas!
Loved seeing some of your hiking spots! I wish I could have smelled the eucalyptus via the video!
Happy to share! Just finished the next video, which includes some more hiking south of SF :)
I’m so glad y’all are having a good time! Great video, the two of you make me smile❤️
Thank you so much!!

Awe it’s ok,didn’t really need them
I would of never got off the boat in S F...
We enjoyed some spots, but all the noise and whatnot was pretty overwhelming for us!
Which yacht club are you with??? If I write 1000's of comments (I have the tech) what happens with the algorithm??
