I was hoping it might come up, but since the video focused mainly on English releases... The Japanese actress who played Kotori in ZEXAL was known as a big fan of the card game. The Japanese staff holds monthly tournaments, and she'd said to hold the record for most career wins! In the Japanese dub of Duel Monsters, Bakura and Honda had their each of their actors replaced after the first 40 episodes. In Bakura's case, it was due to health concerns (she eventually died), but Honda's replacement has never been given a reason. There are rumors that the Japanese actress of Carly in 5D's being part of a high-profile cult resulted in her termination from the series, reducing Carly's role significantly despite her inportance up to that point. It's also runored that this link led to sudden rewrites, changing the Yliaster group from an ancient cult to time travellers.
