Just got a bunch of these from Michaels and made a cute little bikini out of the yellow. It turned out really cute and was fairly easy to work with. After a few washings (jumping in the water) it will soften up, as cotton does. What I really love about this yarn? Eco-friendly! With my degree in Geography and Earth Sciences, I can really appreciate the lower impact it has on our environment. Kudos to Lion Brand for coming up with this yarn! And yup, I will be buying more! 👍🏼💜

It looks like they are trying to catch peaches and cream. But they missed. Thank you for your opinion. I enjoy watching you. I make pot holders, this would be good for a color difference. I will try it, once. The avocado green.
I do appreciate your honesty on this. Also, I might use this yarn to make Dishcloths in the Crunch Stitch & a size F-5 (3.75mm) hook (yes, I prefer using a size F-5 crochet hook when I make my dishcloths).
This is why we watch shows like yours and some others because you tell us about the yarns before we go and spend our hard earned money on it and find out we don't like it. We can always still, as you said, go out and feel it for ourselves and see what we think. But, I agree for $2.00 a ball for that I don't think so. By the way I told a friend about you and she said she is going to look you up tomorrow. She lives in the UK!

Hi Crystal, I got several of these the day they came out at Michael's up here in MN. Worst cotton yarn I have dealt with. It splits horribly. I finished my washcloth but had to use a 3.75 mm hook and a inline crochet hook to get thru it so it looked halfway decent. Took me forever to get it done. Now I'm just displaying them for their pretty colors! Lol!

Thank you for your honesty. As someone who lives on disability, yarn is actually a splurge for me. Mostly I make projects & then frog them to be able to make something else. Your honest opinion is one of the reasons I like your channel. I've seen yarn reviewer's that say "the yarn is great", however there is no way it was an honest opinion. Either they hope to be sponsored by the yarn company, they don't want to lose sub's or for some reason, they just plain lied. Knowing it's only your opinion & like you say, people can buy & try it for themselves. You do tell the truth & people need that. Maybe you could put two strands together, use a j or k hook and make a beach bag ?? I think a dark and light color together would make a cool looking bag. Love to see how it’d turn out.
Your honesty makes all the difference to us and I hope to the yarn manufacturers. People who use yarn, to knit, to crochet, to hook rugs, to craft in any way, use their hands. It's a very touch sensory industry. Sure we do choose our favorite yarn colors, but FYI blind people also love to knit and crochet. And while I'm in the middle of a project, I'm not thinking of the color I've chosen. I'm thinking of the feel of the fibers as they interlock into the beautiful woven fabric I'm creating. Reduce Reuse and Recycle are important mottos to live by, but not at the hindrance of my mental health. My time sitting with my hook in hand is time for me to relax my mind and set my worries aside for a bit. So God bless to all of you out there loving your yarn time.

Nice colors. Looks like it'd be great for dishcloths! I love making and using dishcloths and scrubbies. I use an H hook.
