I have been using this yarn for a while now. When it first came out, it was marked as a blend. Now it is marked on the labels as 100% cotton. The Lion Brand website currently has only 2 colors on sale for $2.11 each. I got my most recent balls at Dollar General for less than that. I buy it instead of the DG brand (which is too dry and breaks easily, though there are nice colors offered). It is much stronger. I also recently ordered some from Herrschner's. They had more colors and it was on sale for $1.99 each. I use it primarily for making face scrubbies (exfoliating) and dish rags. There are other yarns out there with recycled cotton...which is good because I enjoy using recycled fibers. One example is Premier Home Cotton which is 85% Cotton and 15% Polyester. I have to say I'm sad that Lion Brand appears to be retiring this yarn. They came out with such a strong solid color pallette, I was hoping it would stick around. But Lion Brand is notorious for limited yarn runs.

Hi Hun. Thank you for sharing this information. Very pretty colors for cotton like you said.

The "summery" colors are especially good (pink, green, orange, yellow). I'm thinking of trying to make a watermelon washcloth to try to highlight a few of those colors. Thanks for watching!

Can you share your washcloth patterns?

I don't really have patterns for them. I just chose stitches out of a stitch dictionary and then made them in a square. The variegated one is done in a waffle pattern, which I have a quick tutorial on during a live stream that I'll link below. The other two are done in the same stitch but I'm not sure of the name. I'll see if I can find it and share it with you! Thanks for watching!
