This is the first take on RUclips that actually does the Fold5 justice. Great job. I agree with everything you said. As someone who just switched from iPhone, I couldn't be happier. This is the essence of innovation. Samsung has won me over and I'm never going back.
As an artist, the Fold 5 is a win for me. It's the Fold that comes with a samsung pen and it is descent for drawing compared to the older note pens and smaller screens. I also like the slim folded feature because it looks sexy and easy to use with 1 hand. It's the most premium looking phone I ever owned. I bought a slim case with hinge pen slot. Attached a magsafe ring and a sinjimoru magsafe wallet that comes with a handle that can be a stand. Holds 5 cards and some cash. 👌
no its a bad call from a reviewer who doesn't main this phone. We dont need the phone any thicker, which will have to be in order to make space inside the phone. So annoying hearing people who dont use the phone long term tell you what it needs. Im sure the front screen needs to be wider too right???? 🤡
I've had the Fold 5 since launch, Great piece of Tech. Surprizingly I use the front screen more for now, but in a waiting room or on a plane I use the large screen and it is a treat. I tend to hold on to phones for awhile, and at this price, I'll keep it for a while. Battery has been great too.
I find myself using the front screen on the ZF5 a lot more than the ZF4. It does feel more responsive I think. The real estate on the display is insane. Even with the crop it’s still way bigger than most flagships
I love my Fold 5! It's the most advanced and polished piece of tech I've owned in over 35+ years of tech purchases. Samsung are truly pioneers in this field. Apple may come out with an improved product much like Oneplus/Oppo have, but none of them can claim Samsungs innovation.
I bought the fold 5 in full the day it was released. It's amazing. Just wow. I love the peak brightness and the loud speakers. When unfolded it's even more amazing
I just returned mine. Everyone says if you own a fold 3 its a big upgrade going to 5. I think they're wrong. Mainly because of the aspect ratio change on the main screen. Samsung listened to the tech reviewers who use the phone for a week and then dump it, about the front screen being too narrow. For real users the front screen is amazing for one handed use. As a result of making it wider, the inner screen is now a square. Side by side with the 3, my 3's display is BIGGER for video content, and the black bars are smaller because of the aspect ratio. Whats odd though is when I turned both screens up to 100% brightness, my folds 3 screen was brighter playing the same content. Makes no sense since they increased the nits on the 5. The 5 was lighter and felt better in the pocket, and way faster for 3d gaming benchmarks (like 2x the score, pretty amazing), better battery life, but I get the fold to have the biggest screen possible and making it smaller is a bad move imo. Even with my $1000 trade in of the 3, and an extra 5% off, its not worth the upgrade. I give this phone a 5/10 for samsung listening to crying reviewers who dont main the phone, rather than real users that loved the thin screen and aspect ratio of the main screen. I hope they make a better one in the future. Or I'll keep the 3 until it breaks.
Oh no! that’s a shame it didn’t work out for you. I quite like the aspect ratio and the fact it’s bigger than all flagships out there, even with the crop. I actually used the Fold 4 exclusively for a few months and can see me doing the same with the ZF5 now that the dust is settling. The S23U is still my main device but I am gradually using the Fold more and more. You make a great point on pricing though, it still a steep price. I honestly love the screen as it is right now, and I do hope Samsung like you said, don’t listen to most tech reviewers asking for a bigger front screen. That is the key selling point on it for me, how easy it is to use in comparison with the bigger foldables
3 weeks into my Galaxy Fold 5 and it has replaced a lot of my time on my PC. Getting older I feel like I'm gaming less and prefer watching content or listen to podcasts/audiobooks. I used to be really heavy into gaming on my PC with my most recent rig being built in 2020 (5900x and a Strix 3080OC bought on launch). The Galaxy Fold 5 100% satisfies my content consumption (RUclips, Reddit, Tidal, etc) and work related usage (e.g. Outlook and Teams). Crazy thing is that I bought the 1tb version at around $1300 AUD (~$800-900 USD) from the official Australian Samsung online store.
I love my Fold 5. Oddly enough, the OnePlus Open made me like it and enjoy it even more. I do welcome the competition and hope it lights a fire under Sammy. Make outside slightly wider, integrate the pen, and it would be perfect. Cameras - would be nice to upgrade but honestly for most of us, they are more than great and capable. Not once did I wish I still had my old slab with technically better spec'd cameras. Like you, I'm not sure I can return to a slab - which is weird. Using my wife's 12 PM feels strange and bulky. Love the form factor. And I say, Apple, leave us alone. LOL. 🐔
same here, I think competition is good, as it pushes everyone forward. And agreed on cameras, these are so good! I do use my S23U a lot still, as my main SIM is in it and I have my banking, authenticators, etc. but when it comes to chilling or getting stuff done for work, its the Fold I reach for
Getting rid of my z fold for the oneplus open. For me it's a big upgrade, I think the form factor is better. Basically a normal phone with the ability to open into a small tablet. And everything seems better on the open hardware wise
Solid video. If youre into tech and are coming from a slab phone (especially Android), grab the Fold 5. I can never go back to a regular phone at this point and this thing is a game changer coming from my old Pixel 6.
I'm glad to hear someone else besides me enjoys the more slim size of the fold 5 outer screen. It's grest for one handed use and provides that perfect balance between using both screens. I feel like if you want a biggee outer screen, you should just stick to a slab phone. The outer screen can handle everything so why open the phone up?
I took my Fold 5 on a cruise to Greece in September, and it was a perfect device to give me just what I needed. I actually am used to and like the form factor when it is closed, and it is perfect size to just take our and take a few quick photos without unfolding it. I love how snappy and responsive the processor is. I sold it when I got back, switched to the Pixel Fold and just returned it today after going back to a new Fold 5 on Friday. Just couldn't get used to the heaviness and clunky/awkward feel in the hand of the Pixel Fold. Plus, I am used to portrait orientation on the inside screen, so landscape just felt...wrong. I think I am going to keep this one for awhile. Just so impressed with it.
Yes I was excited about the Pixel Fold but I couldnt really let go of the thinner bezels and S-Pen capability. Glad you're having a good time with it now!
I am sold on the pixel fold.. yes definitely fold 5 is a better device overall but outer screen + pure android are the unique selling points for me... 🦋

The fold 5 is a great piece of tech. If Apple thinks that they can survive by not producing a foldable, they are just kidding themselves. Once again, a top-quality video for one of the most premium products in the market. I love my Fold 5 a lot, and this video makes me like it even more.
Great video. My main resistance is ecosystem! With Apple everything just works! Can’t stand having Google photos for photos, different browser for internet, another app for notes. With Apple, my safari tabs, notes, photos all synced on all my devices. If Samsung could offer that at a similar level I’d consider!
Funny thing is they do. Samsung's ecosystem is just as good. The problem is switching from one to another, I wish I could say it's easy. I think the main reason it's not too popular is that people are still unsureabout the durability of foldables, and that folds tend to be very expensive. I started using the Z flip as my first foldable. Now I'm sure I'll buy fold next time.
I have the z fold 4 and have 2 more years on my monthly 😢 I should have waited for the five just for straight flat it is. Great video. Keep up the good work. I love the pixel, however, samsung dex is AAAAAAAMMMMAZING!!! especially when I am in the office.
🦋. Current iPhone user and previous Samsung user for many years. If Apple came out with a foldable, it would definitely give Samsung a run for its money. Even still, Samsung might have the edge with the software. Apple seems show up late but when they do, they change the game. To each its own. I have tried out the ZF5 in the store. I like the phone but only drawback from me pulling the trigger is the narrower outer display and the noticeable crease. I'm sure I could get used to it over time with both but eager to see if the ZF6 fixes these issues and has a similar body style of the S24 Ultra.
Dex is a big edge on the Samsung Fold. This is my phone, tablet and computer. Big disappointment is the camera. It would be a dream for the front display to be wider. Mount is finding a mag safe case for the fold 5
Thanks Alex, glad to see that at least a few of the youtubers take care of the Z Fold 5 in a objectiv way. I observed the last months the reviews, previews etc. about the Z Fold 5, Pixel Fold or OnePlus Open and the chinese devices. First the Z Fold line was the darling of more or less all of them. Then comes the Pixel Fold and the everybody talks about the device. The biggest point was the wider front display (much better than the Z Fold and so on). A ton of users said, that there are using most of the time the front display! So why they buy a Folding phone? And where is the pen support for Pixel Fold? And the price? I expected more from Google after they had at least 5 years to learn from Samsung. Then the OnePlus Open. No wireless charging, you can limited use the Oppo Pen, the bulky camera at the back and so on. And honestly, the camera of the Z Fold 5 is really great. You only have to know how to use! By the way the magic app ist EXPERT RAW from Samsung. So to come to an end, in my opignion the crown for the best working-horse-ultimedia-productivity-device goes to the Z Fold 5. The others where great devices too, no doubt but for me there is only the Z Fold. By the way, I tried the OnePlus Open and the Pixel Fold and after every change I was happy to come back to my beloved Z Fold.
I’m an iPhone user, but honestly, iPhones are irrelevant I feel. They just can’t compete with a powerhouse in the lights of a Samsung or Google multitasking capabilities and more. What Apple has, is its brand name to hold it together. If Apple ever releases a foldable phone, those very people that bullied me and others for saying foldables are a great alternative, those will be the very 1sr ones ordering and than have the nerve to call it revolutionary. I wish Apple was less narrow minded and more friendly as an industry with other companies, they just don’t play well with others flat out. Great video Alex👍

Folding phones are really not for everyone. I usually switch my phone once a year, just because I have an interest in tech and gadgets, and for the longest time I thought that the only reason barring me from purchasing a foldable was its price. So, when I finally decided I'll spend my money on the zfold 5, I decided to go and check it out live to a Samsung store. After about half an hour of playing with it, the experience was not at all what I had expected. I realised then and there that I'm better sticking with a normal phone and ordered a pixel 8 Pro instead. I'm actually not at all surprised that these haven't been sold in greater numbers, add the price to that and well there you have it.
You nailed it. I was actually on the same boat a few years back and didn't buy them, mostly because of the price. I think they were two grand back then. Definitely still in the "enthusiast" arena. But I am convinced that the minute Apple makes one, foldables will be the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe they're waiting for that display tech to evolve a bit more, I have to say, the crease will be a massive showstopper still for a lot of people. For me, I do use its features so the display shortcomings don't bother me too much.
Good morning Alex. Thank you for always putting out excellent content. I couldn't agree more about the Z Fold 5. I've had every Fold that Samsung has made. I'm a nerd that has to buy the latest and greatest. I've been using the OnePlus Open for the last week and have finally switched back. The outer display is a little wider and "Maybe" a little easier to use but the Z Fold 5, to me, feels much nicer in the hand when folded up. I also go caseless. DBrand skin and a screen protector. 🐔
I have the iphone 13 pro which I use for banking and whatnot, but I only took the Fold 5 to a recent trip, and I am now trading my macbook pro in because I realized I don't need a laptop on travels anymore.

Love this phone. I'm one of those change my phone at least once or twice a year to different flagship phones and they are all great be it IOS or Android but this phone has really blown me away. I got it not really knowing how or even if a foldable phone would be what I want but I would never go back to a regular phone now. It's not just the form factor, it's the way Samsung allows you to use it so easily. I have a very specific niche for my job were I have to photograph documents many times a day and edit them and you would not believe what a terrible job most flagship phones make of doing this task. The Pixel 8 pro was the worst but this phone takes the best photos of documents that I have ever used by a country mile. It's a niche thing to want your phone to do but the camera quality and ease of editing in a large screen is just unbeatable for me. It also impresses the socks of everybody that sees it. Lol.
It's so useful! I had to sign some urgent work documents recently and I was driving. A quick stop at a petrol station, snap, sign, attach, send, done. That would have been a nightmare on most devices.
i was going to buy the Fold5 but have instead decided to wait for the S24 Ultra. why you may ask. well because i like to watch RUclips, movies, and sports a lot on my smart phone and with the aspect ratio on this phone not matching the ratio for nearly every movie and video out there, most of that screen is not going to be used at all. so the screen size is kind of irrelevant.

im waiting for the S24 Ultra. the aspect ratio on the Fold5's inner screen isnt right for most movies, videos, and sports. thetefore you have a lot of wasted screen space.

I was worried about that myself ,and in my videos I actually don’t recommend an upgrade from the Fold 4. I honestly don’t think it’s worth paying more from the Fold 4 to Fold 5. But if you can get a decent deal in a few months, it may make sense. I was sad to see my Fold 4 sell for $700, when I paid $1700 less than a year prior…
@AlexGTech yeah there is some hardware gains. I think oxygen/color os is a decent skin with a modern design but definitely has some settings missing with it little less polish compared to one ui
The only thing that's stopping people from getting a foldable is the screen durability and the price. It's not glass, it's priced high and the cameras are OK. That's why it's a turn off for most people. It folds ok, but what can it do that a slab phone can't besides folding.
Yes, the price is definitely stil pretty high. I saw that even the latest one, the Open is already showing issues on the screen with dead pixels... But to answer your question, it depends on what slab phone you are talking about. If it's an iPhone for example... quite a lot! The iPhone can only run one app on the screen.

If I must decide between the two then it will be the Z Fold5. But going on a holiday then the iPhone will be my choice to take with me. Mainly for the always great battery life! And video quality is still better on the iPhone. When looking at the software experience than the Goodle Pixel is definitely my choice. So yes, switching between them always... Alex, I have S23 Ultra which i really love but as you have experience with both the S23 Ultra & Fold 5 which in your opinion is the better device? Im really tempted to trade my S23 Ultra to get the Fold but the depreciation is real🙈 and to do the switch would mean id be paying for 2 monthly contracts for a phone i dont own anymore 😬 is it worth it? Or should i sit tight enjoy the s23 ultra and pray samsung implement the Spen on the fold 6.
I change my s22u to the fold 5 i have the exynos version what i gain: a huge an power snap dragon processor and an amazing foldable phone, what i lost: the integrated spen I buy an retail spen to no buy the whole case, I lost an amazing x10 optical zoom and pretty good sensors in camera, 45w fast charge.

A Samsung precisa correr, já temos o Oneplus Open e Honor Magic V2 no mercado (internacional claro rs) que parecem serem melhores no aspecto de dobráveis (mecanismo de dobra e telas). Estes não possuem uma SPen e com certeza em termos de sistema Android acredito que a Samsung esteja na frente, porém por hardware a Samsung parece estar perdendo o posto de inovação. Essas notícias informando que vão voltar a usar Exynos em seus aparelhos eu acho um retrocesso. Seria legal se você conseguisse fazer um comparativo destes dobráveis. Valeu !!

Troll account, better software when it can't do more than 3 apps to multi task. The Taskbar bugs out and will cover the lower part of the screen without adjusting the layout. Has literally the same issues that the OPPO OS has. Lol.

Watching this video on my OnePlus Open. The only thing the OnePlus Open is missing is OneUI 😂 Seriously the OnePlus Open is amazing especially when multitasking. But the best I can say about OxygenOS is that it's fine. It has some cool features but it's definitely not on the same level as OneUI at least for me. At this point I'm just waiting for Samsung to make a Zfold with a wider front screen. 20:9 aspect ratio is what I want from Samsung. Until they do I will be using the OnePlus Open and Samsung's S ultra. Right now that's the S22U but I'm going to be getting the S24U whenever they release it.

same here, I think competition is good, as it pushes everyone forward. And agreed on cameras, these are so good! I do use my S23U a lot still, as my main SIM is in it and I have my banking, authenticators, etc. but when it comes to chilling or getting stuff done for work, its the Fold I reach for
Getting rid of my z fold for the oneplus open. For me it's a big upgrade, I think the form factor is better. Basically a normal phone with the ability to open into a small tablet. And everything seems better on the open hardware wise
Solid video. If youre into tech and are coming from a slab phone (especially Android), grab the Fold 5. I can never go back to a regular phone at this point and this thing is a game changer coming from my old Pixel 6.

I sold my fold 5 and got the Open by One plus. The best phone I've ever had.
I'm glad to hear someone else besides me enjoys the more slim size of the fold 5 outer screen. It's grest for one handed use and provides that perfect balance between using both screens. I feel like if you want a biggee outer screen, you should just stick to a slab phone. The outer screen can handle everything so why open the phone up?
I took my Fold 5 on a cruise to Greece in September, and it was a perfect device to give me just what I needed. I actually am used to and like the form factor when it is closed, and it is perfect size to just take our and take a few quick photos without unfolding it. I love how snappy and responsive the processor is. I sold it when I got back, switched to the Pixel Fold and just returned it today after going back to a new Fold 5 on Friday. Just couldn't get used to the heaviness and clunky/awkward feel in the hand of the Pixel Fold. Plus, I am used to portrait orientation on the inside screen, so landscape just felt...wrong. I think I am going to keep this one for awhile. Just so impressed with it.
Yes I was excited about the Pixel Fold but I couldnt really let go of the thinner bezels and S-Pen capability. Glad you're having a good time with it now!

The fold 5 is a great piece of tech. If Apple thinks that they can survive by not producing a foldable, they are just kidding themselves. Once again, a top-quality video for one of the most premium products in the market. I love my Fold 5 a lot, and this video makes me like it even more.

Great video. My main resistance is ecosystem! With Apple everything just works! Can’t stand having Google photos for photos, different browser for internet, another app for notes. With Apple, my safari tabs, notes, photos all synced on all my devices. If Samsung could offer that at a similar level I’d consider!
Funny thing is they do. Samsung's ecosystem is just as good. The problem is switching from one to another, I wish I could say it's easy. I think the main reason it's not too popular is that people are still unsureabout the durability of foldables, and that folds tend to be very expensive. I started using the Z flip as my first foldable. Now I'm sure I'll buy fold next time.

🦋. Current iPhone user and previous Samsung user for many years. If Apple came out with a foldable, it would definitely give Samsung a run for its money. Even still, Samsung might have the edge with the software. Apple seems show up late but when they do, they change the game. To each its own. I have tried out the ZF5 in the store. I like the phone but only drawback from me pulling the trigger is the narrower outer display and the noticeable crease. I'm sure I could get used to it over time with both but eager to see if the ZF6 fixes these issues and has a similar body style of the S24 Ultra.
Dex is a big edge on the Samsung Fold. This is my phone, tablet and computer. Big disappointment is the camera. It would be a dream for the front display to be wider. Mount is finding a mag safe case for the fold 5

Thanks Alex, glad to see that at least a few of the youtubers take care of the Z Fold 5 in a objectiv way. I observed the last months the reviews, previews etc. about the Z Fold 5, Pixel Fold or OnePlus Open and the chinese devices. First the Z Fold line was the darling of more or less all of them. Then comes the Pixel Fold and the everybody talks about the device. The biggest point was the wider front display (much better than the Z Fold and so on). A ton of users said, that there are using most of the time the front display! So why they buy a Folding phone? And where is the pen support for Pixel Fold? And the price? I expected more from Google after they had at least 5 years to learn from Samsung. Then the OnePlus Open. No wireless charging, you can limited use the Oppo Pen, the bulky camera at the back and so on. And honestly, the camera of the Z Fold 5 is really great. You only have to know how to use! By the way the magic app ist EXPERT RAW from Samsung. So to come to an end, in my opignion the crown for the best working-horse-ultimedia-productivity-device goes to the Z Fold 5. The others where great devices too, no doubt but for me there is only the Z Fold. By the way, I tried the OnePlus Open and the Pixel Fold and after every change I was happy to come back to my beloved Z Fold.
I’m an iPhone user, but honestly, iPhones are irrelevant I feel. They just can’t compete with a powerhouse in the lights of a Samsung or Google multitasking capabilities and more.
What Apple has, is its brand name to hold it together. If Apple ever releases a foldable phone, those very people that bullied me and others for saying foldables are a great alternative, those will be the very 1sr ones ordering and than have the nerve to call it revolutionary.

Folding phones are really not for everyone.
I usually switch my phone once a year, just because I have an interest in tech and gadgets, and for the longest time I thought that the only reason barring me from purchasing a foldable was its price.
So, when I finally decided I'll spend my money on the zfold 5, I decided to go and check it out live to a Samsung store.
After about half an hour of playing with it, the experience was not at all what I had expected. I realised then and there that I'm better sticking with a normal phone and ordered a pixel 8 Pro instead.
I'm actually not at all surprised that these haven't been sold in greater numbers, add the price to that and well there you have it.
You nailed it. I was actually on the same boat a few years back and didn't buy them, mostly because of the price. I think they were two grand back then. Definitely still in the "enthusiast" arena. But I am convinced that the minute Apple makes one, foldables will be the best thing since sliced bread. Maybe they're waiting for that display tech to evolve a bit more, I have to say, the crease will be a massive showstopper still for a lot of people. For me, I do use its features so the display shortcomings don't bother me too much.

I couldn't agree more about the Z Fold 5. I've had every Fold that Samsung has made. I'm a nerd that has to buy the latest and greatest.
I've been using the OnePlus Open for the last week and have finally switched back. The outer display is a little wider and "Maybe" a little easier to use but the Z Fold 5, to me, feels much nicer in the hand when folded up.
I also go caseless. DBrand skin and a screen protector. 🐔

I have the iphone 13 pro which I use for banking and whatnot, but I only took the Fold 5 to a recent trip, and I am now trading my macbook pro in because I realized I don't need a laptop on travels anymore.

Love this phone. I'm one of those change my phone at least once or twice a year to different flagship phones and they are all great be it IOS or Android but this phone has really blown me away. I got it not really knowing how or even if a foldable phone would be what I want but I would never go back to a regular phone now. It's not just the form factor, it's the way Samsung allows you to use it so easily. I have a very specific niche for my job were I have to photograph documents many times a day and edit them and you would not believe what a terrible job most flagship phones make of doing this task. The Pixel 8 pro was the worst but this phone takes the best photos of documents that I have ever used by a country mile. It's a niche thing to want your phone to do but the camera quality and ease of editing in a large screen is just unbeatable for me. It also impresses the socks of everybody that sees it. Lol.
It's so useful! I had to sign some urgent work documents recently and I was driving. A quick stop at a petrol station, snap, sign, attach, send, done. That would have been a nightmare on most devices.
I'm in the team no case as well, just cover screen tempered glass and skins

i was going to buy the Fold5 but have instead decided to wait for the S24 Ultra. why you may ask. well because i like to watch RUclips, movies, and sports a lot on my smart phone and with the aspect ratio on this phone not matching the ratio for nearly every movie and video out there, most of that screen is not going to be used at all. so the screen size is kind of irrelevant.

Pixel 8 Pro has over heating issues, battery issues, and connection issues just like the 6 all over again. Check forums and Google it.
im waiting for the S24 Ultra. the aspect ratio on the Fold5's inner screen isnt right for most movies, videos, and sports. thetefore you have a lot of wasted screen space.

What made you leave the Fold 4? Are there major differences?
I was worried about that myself ,and in my videos I actually don’t recommend an upgrade from the Fold 4. I honestly don’t think it’s worth paying more from the Fold 4 to Fold 5. But if you can get a decent deal in a few months, it may make sense. I was sad to see my Fold 4 sell for $700, when I paid $1700 less than a year prior…

@AlexGTech yeah there is some hardware gains. I think oxygen/color os is a decent skin with a modern design but definitely has some settings missing with it little less polish compared to one ui

The only thing that's stopping people from getting a foldable is the screen durability and the price. It's not glass, it's priced high and the cameras are OK. That's why it's a turn off for most people. It folds ok, but what can it do that a slab phone can't besides folding.
Yes, the price is definitely stil pretty high. I saw that even the latest one, the Open is already showing issues on the screen with dead pixels... But to answer your question, it depends on what slab phone you are talking about. If it's an iPhone for example... quite a lot! The iPhone can only run one app on the screen.
@@AlexGTech I have an s23 ultra and until it has 4 cameras at the back and dex I dont think I will be getting a foldable. As you said its already showing dead pixels so to me the foldables are still in beta.

If I must decide between the two then it will be the Z Fold5. But going on a holiday then the iPhone will be my choice to take with me. Mainly for the always great battery life! And video quality is still better on the iPhone. When looking at the software experience than the Goodle Pixel is definitely my choice. So yes, switching between them always... Good to keep my tech level as high as possible!😉 (because of my job as IT administrator and tech enthousiast!). Keep up the good work you're doing! Greetings!

Alex, I have S23 Ultra which i really love but as you have experience with both the S23 Ultra & Fold 5 which in your opinion is the better device? Im really tempted to trade my S23 Ultra to get the Fold but the depreciation is real🙈 and to do the switch would mean id be paying for 2 monthly contracts for a phone i dont own anymore 😬 is it worth it? Or should i sit tight enjoy the s23 ultra and pray samsung implement the Spen on the fold 6.

I change my s22u to the fold 5 i have the exynos version what i gain: a huge an power snap dragon processor and an amazing foldable phone, what i lost: the integrated spen I buy an retail spen to no buy the whole case, I lost an amazing x10 optical zoom and pretty good sensors in camera, 45w fast charge.
I think OnePlus really took the crown, the multitasking is better imo, and hardware is way better.
The crease is very much visible on white backgrounds. Huge turn off.
Also if the screen is damaged, it’s going to be an expensive unfortunate event
It's certainly visible. This is my second Fold though, I love it. I do agree, it;s not gonna be for everyone.

A Samsung precisa correr, já temos o Oneplus Open e Honor Magic V2 no mercado (internacional claro rs) que parecem serem melhores no aspecto de dobráveis (mecanismo de dobra e telas). Estes não possuem uma SPen e com certeza em termos de sistema Android acredito que a Samsung esteja na frente, porém por hardware a Samsung parece estar perdendo o posto de inovação. Essas notícias informando que vão voltar a usar Exynos em seus aparelhos eu acho um retrocesso. Seria legal se você conseguisse fazer um comparativo destes dobráveis. Valeu !!

Watching this video on my OnePlus Open. The only thing the OnePlus Open is missing is OneUI 😂
Seriously the OnePlus Open is amazing especially when multitasking. But the best I can say about OxygenOS is that it's fine. It has some cool features but it's definitely not on the same level as OneUI at least for me. At this point I'm just waiting for Samsung to make a Zfold with a wider front screen. 20:9 aspect ratio is what I want from Samsung. Until they do I will be using the OnePlus Open and Samsung's S ultra. Right now that's the S22U but I'm going to be getting the S24U whenever they release it.
