Maybe Jason & Eve children (Elfie & Roddy), will continue the story maybe? Since they both have a natural born ability to enter super dimensional space
If we ever get a new Blaster Master game, I would not be surprised if Elfie and Roddy were the main protagonists. Even though they already featured in Blasting Again it's possible they would return once more. Unless Inti Creates developed a completely new plot with new characters and such.
I do remember during one of Inti Creates’ stream, I posted saying “hate to see it end, but I’m glad I got to experience the story and see it concluded “. Matt Papa replied with “Jason’s storyline ends with the trilogy” , but whose to say there isn’t more stories. They always tease stuff during streams, but I know they can’t truly say. All I know is that I enjoyed the BMZ series and I wish other companies put as much love and effort into retro games like Inti Creates does
Depends on who is the producer of a potential next game and who decides in which direction the story will go. But I think if there are new games, we will see completely new characters. Except if they choose to reuse any character from the previous games, like Leibnitz for example. I'd like to see that:)
@@switcheydegamer It will be Elfie and Roddy's story. As seen on the Soundtrack cover for BMZ3. Unless they introduce Alex as a character again. Leibnitz does feel like a character to use for a spinoff title though for the new reboot.
Spoiler . . . . . . . . . . . The OST CD has artwork of Roddy and Elfie grown up, Roddy wearing the MA Suit, and Leibniz taking care of them. You can also see G-SOPHIA SV's remains. Possibly rebuilt.
Yet another reboot? Is that what we really want? Would prefer if the developers went in another direction. Expanding the universe abit, though I wouldn’t mind of they reused old characters. 🙂👍
@@switcheydegamer maybe not a Reboot since blasting again takes place after both jason and eve passed away. And the earth was pretty much a wasteland in th original ps1game. But if we go the BMZ route the lightning beings had probably invaded earth. And since cover art for the soundtrack featured roddy in an ma suit chances are the twins along with Leibniz rebuilt G-sophia Sv. Using the blueprints for sophia j-1 and some parts from rising Garuda.
Spoiler . . . . . Like other support droids, Tae was sent along with Kuebiko through space in hopes of finding a pilot to fight the mutant invasions across the universe. Her travels would land her on Planet Montoj, where a local farmer named Gonbei would soon become Kuebiko's pilot.
I instantly fell in love with BMZ in 2017, and eventually the trilogy became one of the best trilogies ever for me. Such a great series. I want to see more!
Sometimes it's best to leave a beloved original as it is but I quite enjoy sequels if they keep as much of its original characters, design and stories intact.
@@switcheydegamer Dunno, Blaster Master Zero 2 def is an improvement of the first game, but I still prefer the combat and bosses of BMZ3, while BMZ1 was more memorable to me.
@@zettovii1367 IMO I also think that Jason's different weapons in BMZ3 felt good and the control were a lot smoother compared to 1-2. Not saying 1-2 were bad though:)
@@switcheydegamer Oh yeah, all three games were pretty great. Just saying in terms of favorites, BMZ1 was more memorable, while BMZ2 is in a weird spot where the things it did better than BMZ1 is just way better in 3, while otherwise only being about as good if not less than BMZ1 imo.
Is like for Inti to do with this, what they did with gunvolt and make a spinoff series. Something like a Metafight Chronicles where you play as Kane Gardner over the same time period as the BMZ trilogy.
Well, Blasting again on ps1 was the original sequel. It actually introduced most to eve as she was from the book. Also, on the ost cover for BMZ3. We see Libnez, with a grown up Elfie and Roddy. The ending also mentioned the threat of the lightning beings which were the antagonists of blasting again. So my guess would be a remake of blasting again. Though changing the story to use the new cannon. Maybe it will be 3d, or they might do it in similar fashion of the trilogy.
Wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of the story including mentioned characters. Though I would prefer if the next game would be a 2D-game, just like the trilogy. IMO, Inti Creates has become good at developing games such as Blaster Master. I would love to see the perfect 2D with new features, weapons, story, bosses and such.
If there is going to be a sequel to Blaster Master Zero 3 in some form, it will probably star Roddy and Elphy as the main characters with Lebinz guiding them or something via time skip. The plot will be to find their parents, Jason and Eve in a new Metal Attacker. That seems to be the most logical step. Or. Have it so that Jason is killed by some unknown force from outside the super dimensional space, and in her grief, Eve wages war on the universe, becoming something else entirely. Roddy and Elphy would have to stop thier mother. And the unknown force could be some big bad alien or another kind of mutant species. I dunno, but I'd entertain that plot too. As for BMZ3's true ending, you just kinda had to go with it. Eve making offspring out of light and sending them to live as humans? That kinda thing. Apparently being a mutant queen allows you just make life in any way shape or form, which kinda makes Eve OP. Why not just. You know? Bang? In any case. We'll see what Inicreates come up with.
I think there might be a new blaster master but jason is not the protagonist. If you guys are familiar with the blaster master in the ps1 where the protagonists are jason and eve's children. The last part did quote about the lightning beings which are the enemies in the blaster master ps1 so it's possible they might make a reboot of that story too, like perhaps leibniz told the truth to their kids when they grew up that their parents are still alive, and they made their own sophia tank to try to get them out? I just don't know why they quoted the lightning beings and their kids living outside with their new guardian leibniz. I'm not keeping my hopes up, but there is a possible story that they can brew from it
This is a bit weird, but I honestly became connected with the series because of the music. Inti's sound team III has been making a lot of great music since the Mega Man Zero days. I thought the music from the third game was a little disappointing even though they're are some strong songs. Still, I did pick up a copy of the trilogy a month ago and plan on playing the actual games.
I hope you will have fun playing, I thought the trilogy was a nice experience. When it comes to music, I think Blaster Master really captures that "sunsoft-feeling". Naoki Kodaka who composed the music to the original game back in the 80s sure made an impact. I think it's fun to hear new versions of his music, for example "The Underground Adventure Begins". Though I would never use their music in my own videos due to copyright. Hence I compose my own music.
Well I really... "really" want to know what happened to Leibniz before the Blaster Master Zero, I really dream to play and witness the Leibniz story, and may be we could see why this person develop such personality... 🤞😣🤞 -Leibniz:My determination is deeper than yours... 😢

Well after this u get to play as their son and daughter, Eve helps them out a bit but they never got a way out of the super dimension space thingy if I understand this right. On zero 3 they mentioned some mutants that needed to be defeated would be nice with a dlc with that

And they did mention that the lightning beings was the end all be all villain in blaster Masters blasting off again as foreshadowed in the bvz-3 final to mid cutscene
@@uszerntlm9567 Apparently it was ported to Playstation but it is also available to Arcade, was made in 2020! I would be surprised if we got a sequel to Mr. Gimmick. Outside of Japan it was only released in Scandinavia. Afaik the game was never released in the US...
