It’s hilarious to think that Nia was never actually “friendzoned” in the second game, because the whole time Rex was being serious when he said he loved them all. Not only did he get them all, he likely impregnated them all one after the other (probably on the same night) if you look at the age of the 3 kids.

In a quarter century, we have no resolution on Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.
And Rex got with all three ladies one game later!
TV Tropes page has called it via the "Babies ever after" trope.
Cloud clearly ends with tifa.
Zack ends up with Aeris, which they are the original couple.

The writers of FF7 while definitely shipping the two, don't actually do a whole lot for them romantically in comparison to Xeno2 or 3 romances, so yes, they are being coy about it. You could easily pretend that AC Tifa and Cloud are just good friends taking responsibility over 2 kids.

I think so too, especially after Nia’s Hero and Ascension quests. And the hair color matches between Mio and Nia’s baby… That’s GOTTA be her kid. I wish she’d told her in the story though, that would’ve been a fantastic moment.

Sorry to break the fun, but Rex's share of the core was removed before Pneuma's sacrifice. So they're effectively not connected like that anymore.
But considering the fact that it was a 1v1v1v1, with 2 canonically very heavy blades, Niah keeping them topped up, and Rex's unending willpower, its a miracle their house, let alone their bed is standing.
