As a digimon fangirl I am really intruiged by Anode heart as its very obvious it takes stylistic inspiration of its world from how a lot of digimon media present themselves with this surreal mix of analog electronics mixed into landscapes in interesting ways and shapes. (My mind goes to the digimon adventure anime, the train station dungeons in digimon cybersleuth and most of Digimon world next order)

From what I've heard, the game evokes World 1 (the ancestor of the modern World games) and World 3 (the ancestor of the modern Story games) but it sounds like the action system might be a cousin to Memory Gauge from the modern Digimon TCG. Plus the fact they're called "Tama", when that term is traditionally used for Tamagotchi and its spin-offs and clones - with Digimon, Tamagotchi's spin-off/successor, avoiding the term because it helped coin the term "Mon" instead.
What an INCREDIBLE love-letter to the franchise. It just seems like it remixed all Digimon's best and most unique ideas with an incredible amount of love - with a nice hint of their own.

Thanks! I mostly find new stuff by delving into the Steam release lists for hours sometimes to find interesting things. After doing it for long enough you kinda develop this method that gives you good results. The Steam recommenders are also a great resource.
