I remember when a 6- pack was $ 6200.00. Chrysler Corp. cars looked a ran great but you had to keep adjusting body panels to fit right. The brakes were not up to the higher horsepower models. I would have painted mine different instead of that " Sassy-Grassy Green. I hope the new owner takes care of it.
broke mentality bet the person who bought it can easily afford it and probably isnt thinking about reselling, besides they are getting rarer every passing day, so itll probably go up in value
@nonamepleb8006 this thing is overcustomized and overpersonalised. It's worth will go down in the next 5 years. Numbers don't match and the engine is modified or a crate engine. "Older restorations are worth less as time goes by. "Bone stock" goes up in value--which this is not, although very nice.
@@cloaked2562just saw a shell today for $19,500. no floors, frame bent down the middle, holes in every body panel, quarters completely shot. Dude said it was worth the money since it was originally a 440 car…. even though the engine, trans, and original rear end were all long gone.
@@bowl-of-chicken-soup7107 yeah see its sad that the average person cant even afford one nowadays i remember looking as a kid 20 years ago there were many for sale, my dad would tell me only look for the high output cars now there is no choice, everyone has to build 318 cars and low optioned cars just to have one yeah that guy is sniffing glue lol 20k and its build your own car pre covid i saw a running 68 charger on facebook marketplace for 25k CAD, so like 20kish USD 383 4 speed not sure if it was a 318 car or not, still needed a restoration it was painted flat black looked mostly there, you cant look online for stuff like that to be honest because 90% of the time you will either be ripped off or jerked around, like once we looked at a 68 dart pro street car, car was hacked terrible prostreet car, we just walked away, but the sellers buddy was there with his 70 plum crazy dart swinger to try and start a bidding war lol that happened a few times, on another 68 dart prostreet 2 other clowns showed up in a mercedes didnt know anything, didnt even start the car or look underneath, and just gave him what he was asking....while my dad was there, the seller lied when he asked if anyone else is coming to see it one guy we bought a 72 Z28 camaro off of was honest as hell, we drove 4 hours and he called us while we were on the way and told us some guy inquired and said ill give you 2k more if i can get it first and the seller called him a douche 😂 he never lied once about anything its best to find cars like this through people you know you have way better chances
She’s beautiful but for $143k.. I’d rather buy a junkyard ‘69 Charger and do my own full custom resto-mod build 🤤 and since I’m dreaming here.. I’d definitely throw in a beautiful 1,100hp, 950lb-ft torque, supercharged 7.0-L, 426 Hemi Hellephant engine 😍 old school on the outside but a modernized heart with the reliability and power of the new school
Trailer show queens and cars hidden away and not driven make me sad. I’d rather see a hemi charger owned by an average guy that is mostly original and a daily driver than see airbrushed queens that never see the road.
I remember when they were like three grand, and we still couldn't afford them.
Ohh How times haven’t changed

My cousin bought a brand new Plymouth Superbird in 1970 for $5000 now Superbirds could possibly fetch half a million or a million.
When you could buy a house for 5-8 grand
Basically worth as an apartment. But I looove ittt
There's absolutely nothing like the beautiful glorious sounds of ah Hemi.."Dodge, the brotherhood of muscle"
The “TRUE DEFINITION” of an “AMERICAN MUSCLE CAR” 💯%
Aaaaaaaamen!!❤❤❤
Love that color also.
Really dodge and shevy made muscle cars ford makes pony cars that are powerful asf.
Now that's a real Charger.
😮 That's crazy. Prices are so high!!!!
Well will you listen to that kitten just purring away. Awesome Color & Sound!!! Definitely one of my favorites!!
426 HEMI. GORGEOUS 🥰
Knowing you are the person who will be left holding the bag when you try to sell it again....priceless!
id get a gently used newer one from a boomer estate. or five newer ones!
@@mikes-wv3em I'm glad you said five because I'd never consider paying 150k for a new Charger, even if it was made of gold and had the new 426.
This means👍the price is too high 😮

And to think I paid $3500 in 1970 - damn!🎯🔥😉😎
My brother paid 3800 for a 135cc Benelli that tops out at 58😂
@@riverdubois Those were the days, my friend, those were the days🎯👍
@@desertsunman5880 that's honestly hard to wrap my head around, thats like the equivalence of a c7 zr1 being worth 1.5million in 50 years
How is that price possible? This car was still brand new in 1970
Nothing like making the hobby unaffordable. 👍🏻
Yup thats exactly whats been done over the past few years
Build your own 🤷
@@pelvicthrust119 lol 68-70 chargers sell for about 20k as a bare shell that still needs metalwork....

What u expect the grand canyon come on😊
@leroystover1062 143k is more than I paid for my house.
For dat much scratch I'll need a BJ n 3 hots n a cot

Real American muscle in all it beauty 🗿
When I think about the fact that this is a recording from Forza Horizon 6 and graphics mods, the graphics look better than in real life
Sweet

Sweet ,nice lope
Cool ass car. Just the wrong color.
Looks like a giant Dodge Dart Demon.
Now they are going make it a General Lee
I like how the license plate says driven. Somebody should tell him driving it on and off of the trailer doesn't count😂
Play cellar turned into beaulieu for a moment and went yeehaw

Is there a belt squealing?
They got way more money in that & time
Que lindo carro
There's no way that car is worth that kind of money.
I like the car but price ruined that😢
Robby Layton is building a 69 charger that he will give away once he reaches a million subs.
Looks like a 1968 !!
At least it can be repainted
Those wheels are fugly. The car is amazing.
Good gawd!!!
Do i hear a belt slipping💀

They could’ve hidden the rollcage a little better then that
I like stock.
Road Runner. Beep Beep.

Hermoso , embriagador , potente.
A lot of green on wheels for a lot of green
All i can say is super.
I sold my mint 69 for $800.00, had no choice, regrets? Yeah... Who's gonna offer me a sweet deal nowadays?
Somebody is gonna lose money on that build.
I wonder if it's going to be shipped to Dubai? 🤔

Although my favorite color is green im not a fan of it on this Charger. I think a 68-70 charger needs to be dark. Black, plum crazy or something.
