I've suggested it before, Danny needs to work with Hot Wheels, Matchbox, etc to sell replicas of these masterpieces. I would love to be able to collect these cars with my son. Or better yet, work with a company like Franklin mint and sell scaled replicas. It'd be awesome to have some of these on my desk/shelf at home

@@robertvalentin5846 Almost every Muscle Car is cool period, but I have a problem with the Cuda/Challenger/Camaro/Mustang being lumped in with Muscle Cars because they are Pony Cars. Many consider the HEMI'Cuda a Muscle Car but they are not the same type of car. Long hood and short trunk while a Muscle Car is a full size car with a hi performance big block dropped into it. But just semantics I guess!
It really is purty. I sprayed my Eclipse the color with subtle flakes in the mix but people call it brown. I'm going to carry around a color chart. -_-

I've watched a lot of custom's show bikes cars trucks and i just have to say I am so impressed with this group of people on how well they put stuff together builds restorations paint inside outside everything is always so so pristine clean cut this charger is gorgeous they updated it very well
When I hit the lotto I have a half dozen cars I want Danny and Crew to build. Most will be 'touring' cars like this...All new tech underneath...classic old school cars. 1972 Chevelle....1963 Nova....1963 Galaxy...1970 Barracuda...1965 Buick Skylark...1994 E-150 Ford Van done in 4WD (Loved that van....) My quandary...which one is Black Cherry.....

I really like these types of builds. These "gentleman hotrods" as Danny calls them. American muscle cars almost taken to exotic and individual, one of a kind level. It's like a bodybuilder wearing a custom suit.
As a young teenager in the early 80's I've always wanted a 68 Charger!! Something about that body and those round taillights in the back that always pulled and hooked me.. I had a chance to buy one with a nice original body and interior that sat in a field for a few years in Sacramento, I but could not get the 850.00 the owner wanted for it.. I don't believe it ran at the time but I loved that 68 body and everyone else want the 69 since the Dukes of Hazzard was pretty popular at the time.. It's still one of my "dream" cars even to this day and I don't think I will ever be able to buy one at the prices they want for one today but maybe one day, I'll get the chance to ride or I dare dream to drive one before I leave this earth!! Have to say this is one owesome dream car and I'm envious that the owner and his wife will enjoy it greatly! Danny and his team did a wonderful job on this car!! Thanks for triggering such a great memory from my teenage years guys!! 👍😃
I'm an Army brat...so is Ryan. He's a little older than me, but one of my friends from Germany was best friends with Ryan....we were all stationed there in the early 90's. I got the chance to hang out with him when my friend came into town in Vegas. He's a cool guy, but definitely knows how to party and get a little weird, lol. Haven't watched Count in years, so it's good to see how far he's come in this franchise. Good for you Ryan.

That paint job is amazing. I would definitely get that color on any 68-70 muscle car but it looks amazing on the charger. Brandy wine is another color that I really like it’s almost like getting a car that is 2 different colors just depends on how you look at it same as this black cherry. Im just glad there were no flames or any over the top graphics a little hand turned silver pin striping is fine but when they go overboard on the graphics it takes away from the gorgeous lines and curves of the muscle cars so glad they kept it simple yet elegant with that paint.
Me: Every time I see a "Dodge Charger in a Hollywood film" (No matter the year of the model), it mostly get destroyed!!! Some survived, BUT MOSTLY DESTROYED!!!!!!! And I'm a Mopar Lover
When I see the 68-69 Chargers it reminds mew of my dad. He owned several of them when I was little. The last one he owned when I was 15 was a blue 69 and he would not let me have it and sold it instead. I owned a 1973 for awhile and I love the 1971s with the hideaway headlights but the 68-69 has a VERY special place in my heart. Nothing sounds like a BB Mopar. Collectors have made them unobtainable to the working class. So it will have to remain a dream.

I perfer restoration to restomod. Had they kept the original engine block I'd approve. The color looks interesting for sure. Putting an automatic transmission in this is just sacrilege. I'm very glad the owners approve. Thanks.

Yeah, they're a bit older - cut them some slack. I have a manual '69 Charger R/T, and it is an absolute f'ing workout to drive after awhile even though I'm still pretty young.
Sure, the purists out there will balk at this, but its THEIR dream. I'd be the same way if I ever got my 58 Plymouth Fury - I'd want the automatic trans as well (Mostly because I just don't feel comfortable with manual, and if you don't feel comfortable driving something, I say you shouldn't be driving it). Let them live their dream.
Agreed, the purists out there will understand that this beautiful couple are getting older and they don't need to be grinding their knees when they just want to cruise and enjoy the open road. But they aren't too old to be holding hands and having fun.
