Thank you for posting this,I’m in middle school and I always thought “I’m straight”but my two best friends came out as lesbian and started dating,soon after I got a crush on another friend I’ll call a,sadly a is straight and has a crush on a boy and the boy likes her back,I still love her tho.But Im just really thankful,I’m thinking of coming out and this just helped me so thank you again!

I watched this video a few months back with the thought that I was bisexual. After “You can still find boys attractive without being attractive to them” I kept thinking. In the back of my mind I thought that maybe I was gay but didn’t come to terms with it until I watched this video. A few weeks ago I told my friends that I think I might be gay (they already knew I was bi) but tomorrow I’m officially gonna tell them I’m 100% gay, thank you for this video it has done so much for me 💗💗💗
I came out to my mom 2 weeks ago she wasn't really accepting she's very in denial but slowly accepting it but coming out felt great you know in a way free just instant relief :)

Amazing story! Ngl, I did shed a tear...maybe two...maybe more... Not too long ago I found out that I was bisexual. I went with it for a while. Just last year I noticed my attraction towards boys was just, well, gone. I am lesbian or gay or whatever you want to call it. In November, my CRUSH told me that she liked ME! Best day of my life! With only 27 days before my birthday, that was my best birthday gift I ever could've gotten. Hearing your story made me so much more confident about my sexuality. I didn't come out to my friends until December. Not even all my friends know that I'm lesbian. Lots of people ask "Did you at least tell your mom and dad?" That's what most people don't understand. 1. I haven't seen or heard from my mom in 12 years 2. I don't have my dad's number but I still see him like once a year at most 3. My dad would never talk to me again, he believes that the only "good" sexuality is straight. I know that the right thing would be to tell him but I don't have enough confidence to, I can't lose my dad too. I told my sisters and my grandma, they are the most supportive people I've ever met! I would never ask for a better reaction! Ilysm, thank you for sharing your story and making me feel more confident!

My daughter's story"was also undramatic when she came out last year aged'22,she's now 23.I'm 64,her proud father,of 3 daughters one older,one younger.She just came into me and said dad i'm gay,she came out bisexual for awhile,but realisation hit her.But we have that kind of relationship,she came out proudly and with confidence and with excitement.Her sisters took it as the norm,after all does it matter,no.!She introduced her girlfriend to her mum,my ex,as her girlfriend.Her mum also took it very well,nothing's changed,she's still a daughter.

this entire video is literally a carbon copy of my situation. the part about having a boyfriend, but only liking them because it was a normalized part of society (and i thought i was SUPPOSED to be feeling that)??? was entirely me (also guilty of an over text relationship). the whole thing with the youtube recommendations and questioning if i was bisexual all lead up to the point where i can now confidently say that i’m gay too. you’re so inspiring, thank you for making this

Now imagine trying to come out to other toddler parents. My almost 21 month old and I have been going to story times for 7-8 months and only 2 know. Its just as hard being 35 as it was at 18 to come out. I know kids wont/dont usually care but there are still close minded people in this world.

Today I spent the day with my crush who is in my dance class. We ate lunch together for the first time, I went to a yoga class with her because I knew we would take the bus together. I was so happy because I was doing small steps toward her, which are giant steps for me. And then, at the end of the day, while we were talking, she told me she has a boyfriend. I feel so stupid. What was I expecting ?

Oh my... 😭😭😭 I hope I can go out to my closet.. I literally have a huge struggle in coming out. I already compiled my own video but I can't post it as I am freaking nervous and afraid of what others tells me. Her story is literally my story. I did have a boyfriend that I didn't like and he was hugging me every day after school except for the "kiss" he wanted to kiss me but I DIDN'T. After a month i broke up with him. At that school i had a homophobic friend and guess what! I had a crush on her! wow. Ik I'm late but who cares.

Yooooooooo wtfff our coming out stories are low-key the same thooooo! Had a "boyfriend" when I was really young but had crushes on my girl friends, which made me really confused. I came out in grade eight (while dating my gf in grade seven) but barged into my new school like "hi I'm gay" haha! But parents can be difficult... They just think that it's a "phase", even after knowing how in love I am with my girlfriend, so that shit sucks. I hope you and your gf are doing well!😁😁😁😁😁😁

I’m glad things worked out for you well :) (it sound sarcastic but I mean it ) But it also kinda makes me sad because I know there is not a 0,0001% change in the world that my family will accept me te way I am. I’m 22 and still acting straight but it kills me kinda.. I might be bi or gay I don’t know... I really don’t have the space to figure that out, cause I Still live at home.. So Thank you for the tip. When I’m financially stable to live on my own, I might figure things out. But i’m also scared cause this is all new to me. Anyway keep doing what you’re doing cause you’re definitly a rolmodel!

I thought a lil while ago that u was gay,but then I realized I'm bi, I came out to my dad as gay and now I don't know how to come out to him again without him just thinking "so I was right she likes guys and it was just a phase " or something like that.. he doesn't really understand the community but he supports It, do u have any advice on how I could re come out? It was so hard for me the first time and now I just feel stupid. I was so certain I was gay but then found myself aattreacted to guys :/
aw you don't need to feel stupid, this happens all the time. it's very confusing to figure things out. with your dad, maybe just tell him that you've been doing some more thinking and that you've realized that you also like boys. if he says anything about it being a phase, just try to explain to him how confusing it is to figure out. best of luck!
