Nice catches! This reminds me of the KCS Pittsburg sub here where trains have to wait in the hole for the heavier traffic to pass in that specific direction.
Thanks Darryl. I've never seen a train have to wait for more than two trains before. They must have sent all the eastbounds at once as these were all only 5 minutes apart.
I ❤️ your camera work, you set up your camera and just watch the train roll by, it’s hard to count cars going by when these other guys zoom in out, fade out and only half of the train, you are by FAR my favorite channel to watch TRAINS roll by
Thanks you Ernest, I really appreciate that. I like to watch trains roll by and like to see the whole train and that's basically how I video them. I'm glad you enjoy it and thanks for watching.
That westbound got stuck in the hole for three eastbounds. I knew when his headlight came back on that he had gotten a clear signal. Hey that was a cool video. So glad I found this channel. I’m a retired locomotive engineer and this channel and about 3 other channels help bring back many memories. Thanks 👍👍👍❤️
A little late to the party today. Excellent video. Always nice to see the beauty that God has created that surrounds these rails. Your videos bring peace to a lot of your subscribers. You never know how much as this video takes my mind off the pain of minor cancer surgery today. If you find occasion to entertain my request being made ..., could you take about 45-seconds to slowly do a 360 at some of your locations?
Thanks Solutions2 Exist, I really appreciate that. Sorry to hear about your surgery and cancer. I wishing you a speedy recovery from both the surgery and the cancer. The next time I go out I will do a 360 view for you. Thanks for watching.
Thanks TrainsOnGoPro 2015. I've never seen the hit the horn when they turn off the lights. Yea that was a lot of power on that manifest, some of them must be a power move with all of them up front. Thanks for watching.
Suggestion. When you display the type & direction of each train, perhaps add the date/time. It would be interesting to know how much time elapsed between trains. Good vids.
Thanks John. I'll see what I can do. While I do know what date the video was taken I haven't kept track of what time the train rolls by. Thanks for watching.
I was surprised too but I do believe most if not all those containers were empties, especially with that long of a double stack and only two locomotives. Thanks for watching.
Here in Canada, the empties would wait for the double stack. It would be a toss up with the manifest. Nice catches. Any idea how long the stack was waiting?
Thanks EasternCanadianRailfan, that's usually the way it is down here too. Those three eastbound trains were running about five minutes apart so it was about fifteen minutes that the stack had to wait.
Great video as always! When D P U’ s are involved can they be controlled independently by the engineer or do they only mirror the settings in the lead engine? Seems that train integrity would require independent control by the engineer? Thank you for showing such great videos, enjoy them immensely. Edward
Thanks Edward, I'm glad you enjoy the videos. From what I understand, the DPUs can be controlled independently by the engineer if they need to. Thanks for watching.
They all have various destinations. The westbounds are headed to the west coast, Portland, Seattle, etc. and the eastbounds are headed to Chicago and points further east. The eastbound Oil trains are headed to the Bakken Oil field in the state of North Dakota. Hope that help Emre and thanks for watching my friend.
Best part of the day watching your catches. Thank you very much!!

Nice Video! 03:45 Down here in My area when BNSF stop and turn off the lights they always honk the horn once. 04:10 Crazy 7+1 power set up!

It amazes me how those train rails can hold up to so much weight all the time.
It is amazing isn't it, thanks for watching Ashley.
Glad you threw in some tanker trains & EMDs for me

Thanks Greg and thanks for watching my friend.
totally suprised they made the containter train wait for three other trains, and great camera work
Thanks Gary. It's not a priority train like the Qs and Zs. in fact, a large percentage of the containers were empties. Thanks for watching my friend.
Fantastic video... super show... congratulations
