I have a condition called chondromalacia patella where my knee was coming out the socket because my cartilage was rough. Horrible pain, had physiotherapy at the hospital knee got stronger, then a few months ago I saw this vid bought the yoga blocks started doing the exercises and a not only was my knee much stronger I could do things I hadn't been able to do for a bit. DDP yoga is real and I'm helping my wife get into it. Thanks Dallas
did you actually have cartilage wear? My knees also are partially coming out of the sockets and very unstable and I get pain. My quads have also gone right down. Could you let me know exactly what exercises you did? thanks
Just today I was trying to work on sitting on my heels with just 1 yoga block and failing. Can’t remember the last time I could sit on my heels but probably not since childhood. Now at 62 with arthritic knees I am far from being able to sit on my heels. This video is just what I needed. Now I know what to do. Thank you 🙏🏼
This is great to see. I'm only 15 right now and already have bad knees. Since I play football, bad knees.. That's not a good thing. Haha. So seeing you rehab your knee gives me some extra ways to keep my knees in shape and such. Thanks for doing this man!
great vid. 33 now, tore my knee up at 18. I walk for a living so i feel it at the end of the week. Will have to try this. Great vid, still entertaining us after all these years....you're still the man
Thank you! This is my exact problem, meniscus “repaired” and still have swollen surgery spots, I can sit back on my heels but not with my legs together like I used too. I have always done some type of exercise from aerobics in the 80’s, thru Tae Bo, weight lifting, skating, jogging but now I don’t know what is pain soreness or pain hurting, and I need to start from scratch with flexibility. Came here searching for a video from you and trying to decide if I wanted to buy the program and you coincidently said my name…..🤔 fate it is!
Wow...after hearing the story of you getting hit by a car it adds so much more to the legacy of your career. I mean, hit by a car at 12, fly 45 ft away...and then World Champ years down the road. Awesome story.
You're inspiring. I had a similar incident happen to me. I got hit by a drunk driver on new years back in 08. I had part of the cartilage taken out and it still just doesn't feel the same. I feel that because of my bad knee that my good knee is getting a wear and tear type deal. I've heard a lot of good things about your fitness program. Definitely interested in checking it out. Thanks for the information.. BANG
I need to do this. After my knee replacement last year I developed a lot of scar tissue quite quickly. Only happened with my left knee. Had my right knee done 2 years ago & didn’t have that issue. The problem is I can’t be in my knees. It’s extremely uncomfortable to kneel on the actual knee. Very sensitive
Hello Mr Dallas, I just found you on utube. Do you have something that will help my two frozen shoulders. I am hoping I can get back my full range of motion in both shoulders. Please do a video on that particular exercise for frozen shoulders.. Thankyou sir. I am just a poor handicapped guy. Thank you again sir..
awesome vid decided to watch this because i have a friend who has knee troubles what are the benefits of these kinds of exercises if you are young and dont suffer from knee trouble yet? could it help prevent it in the future? thanks :D
I can do leg curls and sit back,I get cortisone shots every 3 months,Arthritis has hurt mine Im 56 and they wont do replacement till Im older,so I can do hip thrust and leg curls
Not til you’re older? They are lasting much longer now. I would check with a different doctor. I’ve had both of mine done. One in 2019 & the other a year ago. I’m 44.
@@theresajohnson4362 A friend gave me a different Docs name so I might get a 2nd opion im not bone on bone and was able to get in the woods and hunt some with the cortisone shots helps a lot no pain when shots run out now just stifness
@@jeffrey9720 gotcha well if you’re not bone on bone & the cortisone helps then you probably have more time. I was completely bone on bone in both knees when I was 38. Past where cortisone would help. Which sucked cuz I’m a nurse& work 3 12 hour shifts in a row so a lot of walking. Was always in so much pain at the end of a shift. I had some great supplements that gave me a few more years before I needed the surgeries but by the time I had the surgeries I was to the point that I couldn’t take the pain anymore. I just thought you were saying they wouldnt do the surgery simply because of your age which is silly

WOW he told that same car accident story when he guest appeared on WWE Tough Enough 3 in 2003. I remember that story
borrowed from the car talk staff credits:
Staff Orthopedist: Denise Hoyt (say it aloud)
Casually has his WCW champ belt hanging on the door Lol
I had the same challenge after tearing my ACL (from Jiu Jutsu) two years ago. I did a similar thing and it worked for me too. Try it!
