I have an older one of these from my ex and it was missing much more then yours. With about $25 parts, the online specs sheet and your guidance I was able to get it to run so I could use it! Thank you, RUclips is truly a single woman's best guy friend!
Well said, I am a woman and tinkering is a hobby of mine. I just garbage picked one of these machines and I'm gonna start seeing if I can make it run. Cheers
I have one also that I use commercially, it was given to me in nearly brand new condition by my neighbor and it's been nothing short of an amazing machine
@@kabusanchez5622 same here. I had my 223l since 2011 and run it hard all summer each year until this spring it wouldnt start. I changed carb and got it to run then it quit and wouldnt start again. Instead of troubleshooting, I just purchased a new husqvarna bc this one lasted so long. When i get some down time, I'm going to try to fix the ole 223l bc its so good. Lightweight and powerful.
I bought a farm in 2015 that had been abandoned for 50 years. My 223 was the only weed eater I had and I worked her into the ground. She still keeps that farm cleared to this day even though shes nowhere near as pretty as she used to be - shes still kicking. The gas line does leak a little but I think I know why now, thank you.
I’ve had mine for 8 years now i have 15 lawns I mow a week after work for a side hustle never had a problem yet runs like a champ I agree the air filter is cheap but you can buy aftermarket ones
Good video ! :). they still put carburetor adjustment screws on 2-stroke equipment to this day, some models don’t have them but 95% are most likely going to have adjustments 👍👍. “Helpful hint the low carb adjustment is always closer to the engine”. 👍👍
@@JoesGarageProductionsLLC👍 a lot of newer equipment have limiter caps on to prevent people who lack the proper knowledge from basically blowing up there equipment, most are easy to take off tho 🤷♂️ I take off the caps on all my personal equipment.

Thanks I will keep that in mind! These adjustment screws didn't have any limiting caps on them or anything.
