Great video and work. I own my Lawn Care service. I did a job for a lady. She told me that her weed eater didn't work and wouldn't start. I repair my equipment. I didn't know what kind it was. I went back later and picked up the weed eater and mower she said that I could have both. The mower is an MTD 21-inch cut, the choke is bent simple repair. I got the weed eater uncovered I couldn't believe my eyes Husqvarna 128CD everything looked great carburetor, gas tank, primer bulb, the filter needed replacement, and the fuel lines and fuel filter. Has great compression. I'm going to order the kit you bought. Excellent price. When I repair it I'm going to let you know how it goes. Thank you for the video. I repair lawnmowers and riding mowers. Peace out 😊
That sounds like win there. For me there is no better feeling than fixing up a free mower or yard equipment that people just want to throw out.
@MowerMike What repair kit will I need with all of the gaskets? I'm seeing different repair kits for the weed eater. Some have 1, 2, and 3 gaskets. I want all the gaskets. I looked on Amazon and there is many options. I want to do a complete rebuild. Thank you for your reply.
@@user-px1kj9fo1c There is a link in my video description to the one I used. Just make sure to get one that includes the fuel line
Hey mower mike, thank you for sharing this with us. We just trashed a craftsman 25cc weed eater. Got carb kit off of ebay and replaced. We had no compression. We followed all the steps you outlined but had compression issue. Thank you again for your expertise
I have been there many times. No compression always sinks your battleship (lol 80’s lingo there)
Much appreciated man!! Made task pretty easy!!
Glad it helped out
Thanks for the video. I ordered it and it was pretty easy to replace the whole thing.. I was originally just looking for a fuel line and filter but it was actually cheaper to get this kit.
One note though: I didn't have the bent pliers but Harbor freight had some for $6 that worked just fine!
Haha Harbor Freight gets’r done
Bought the same $16 Amazon kit for the same 128cd ❤ thankful for you video
You got it!
What lube did you use? WD 40 I’m guessing?
Usually use WD40 not sure what I was doing with it though.
Great job, helped me replacing my carburetor, yea the hardest part was pulling the fuel lines through, made me laugh a couple times, I don't know about that first pull thought :)
Nice well done!
Great video! Now you know why it comes with the carburetor adjuster. Lol.
Right! We are all learning here
Cuestion , you take out two nipple what about the another going? Tanks .
3 nipples is a crowd.
Never knew that they maid guns? So, do you have any of them old fire arms? Just stumbled across your videos and just watched the hot wire job on the cub cadet. It's not bad so far, guss. I'll have to check it all out. Thanks for the advice
Not bad??? You mean it is amazing and hilarious! Welcome aboard it could weird
@MowerMike into my 8th one, I believe, and yes, it is quite hilarious and a good time. I'm going to learn a lot more in which saves me money. The funny shit must be in the name? I think I'm quite hilarious, my damn self. Thanks again, but I can't put down the phone now. I'm hooked.
Great job! 1st pull!!
Thanks man, I was a bit surprised it worked

I thought I had fixed everything but mine leaks oil now. What should I do? Do I have to attach the fuel filter in order for it to work?
I assume you mean it is leaking fuel since there isn’t a separate oil tank. Just find where it is leaking on the fuel line and fix it. The fuel filter shouldn’t matter
It’s thicker than fuel and it’s not the blue color of the fuel mixed with 2-cycle engine oil that I put in the fuel tank. It’s more of an amber color. Any idea what that could be?
@@Visilicious Maybe it is oil blowing out the exhaust if it is running too rich. Good luck.
