Great video and work. I own my Lawn Care service. I did a job for a lady. She told me that her weed eater didn't work and wouldn't start. I repair my equipment. I didn't know what kind it was. I went back later and picked up the weed eater and mower she said that I could have both. The mower is an MTD 21-inch cut, the choke is bent simple repair. I got the weed eater uncovered I couldn't believe my eyes Husqvarna 128CD everything looked great carburetor, gas tank, primer bulb, the filter needed replacement, and the fuel lines and fuel filter. Has great compression. I'm going to order the kit you bought. Excellent price. When I repair it I'm going to let you know how it goes. Thank you for the video. I repair lawnmowers and riding mowers. Peace out 😊
@MowerMike What repair kit will I need with all of the gaskets? I'm seeing different repair kits for the weed eater. Some have 1, 2, and 3 gaskets. I want all the gaskets. I looked on Amazon and there is many options. I want to do a complete rebuild. Thank you for your reply.
Hey mower mike, thank you for sharing this with us. We just trashed a craftsman 25cc weed eater. Got carb kit off of ebay and replaced. We had no compression. We followed all the steps you outlined but had compression issue. Thank you again for your expertise
Thanks for the video. I ordered it and it was pretty easy to replace the whole thing.. I was originally just looking for a fuel line and filter but it was actually cheaper to get this kit. One note though: I didn't have the bent pliers but Harbor freight had some for $6 that worked just fine!
I'm watching your video cuz i just purchased an Amazon carb for my Husqy 128cd. It started up on 3rd pull, but bogs down at full throttle, so I'm trying to figure out what to adjust. Btw after reading reviews on Amazon, I didn't even consider putting the Chinese spark plug in. Throwing it in the trash
@@MowerMike Awesome thanks for the tip. I followed your advice on this video but actually had to turn both 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 turns out to get it good. Now I just gotta figure out the lag/bog between idle and full throttle. I'll check out the other video after work
I assume you mean it is leaking fuel since there isn’t a separate oil tank. Just find where it is leaking on the fuel line and fix it. The fuel filter shouldn’t matter
It’s thicker than fuel and it’s not the blue color of the fuel mixed with 2-cycle engine oil that I put in the fuel tank. It’s more of an amber color. Any idea what that could be?
Never knew that they maid guns? So, do you have any of them old fire arms? Just stumbled across your videos and just watched the hot wire job on the cub cadet. It's not bad so far, guss. I'll have to check it all out. Thanks for the advice
@MowerMike into my 8th one, I believe, and yes, it is quite hilarious and a good time. I'm going to learn a lot more in which saves me money. The funny shit must be in the name? I think I'm quite hilarious, my damn self. Thanks again, but I can't put down the phone now. I'm hooked.
Great job, helped me replacing my carburetor, yea the hardest part was pulling the fuel lines through, made me laugh a couple times, I don't know about that first pull thought :)
U failed to show which line went to the carburetor. The filter line went where? The return went where? Vid up to that point. I have to give you a thumbs down 👎
Ahhh damn, crash and burned again! Maybe you can use those eyeballs of yours and look at those bright yellow tubes and see for yourself where they go on your own trimmer. Just spitballin here.
Very informative video. Lots of repair videos on your channel, Are you up for a collaboration? Hipa supplies parts for small engines and you get the knowledge in small engine repair maybe we would work together to help more people in the community.

That sounds like win there. For me there is no better feeling than fixing up a free mower or yard equipment that people just want to throw out.

@@user-px1kj9fo1c There is a link in my video description to the one I used. Just make sure to get one that includes the fuel line

I have been there many times. No compression always sinks your battleship (lol 80’s lingo there)
Bought the same $16 Amazon kit for the same 128cd ❤ thankful for you video
You got it!

Haha Harbor Freight gets’r done
Worked for me too.
What lube did you use? WD 40 I’m guessing?
Usually use WD40 not sure what I was doing with it though.
Much appreciated man!! Made task pretty easy!!
Glad it helped out

Just the tip? She loves the whole thing! 🤣🤣
Jokes jokes lol
@@MowerMike Always 😆🤘
Cuestion , you take out two nipple what about the another going? Tanks .
3 nipples is a crowd.
I thought I had fixed everything but mine leaks oil now. What should I do? Do I have to attach the fuel filter in order for it to work?

@@Visilicious Maybe it is oil blowing out the exhaust if it is running too rich. Good luck.

Nice well done!
Part # on the carb and kit???
It should be in the video description notes
Great video! Now you know why it comes with the carburetor adjuster. Lol.
Right! We are all learning here
Great job! 1st pull!!
Thanks man, I was a bit surprised it worked
