Thank you so much for making this video. I was about to loose my patience with this model after a year of constantly adjusting the carburetor and then finding out this season that it wouldn't run for more than 5 minutes at a time. This was such an easy fix and I think it is running better now than out of the box. Thank you for saving my sanity!!!

You are a FANTASTIC Person!!! I bought that New Carb and stuck it on and it worked perfectly on the first pull! Literally DAYS of messing around with Rebuild, etc. were completely wasted. Should have seen your Channel first!!! THANKS.

Just had to come back to say thank you. Long time ago, had no choice but to take it to a shop and pay 5x what it cost to just buy parts and do it myself. Appreciate the step by step. 👌

Same problem and engine on my weed eater. Tried cleaning it out and putting new plug in still nothing. 18 bucks can’t beat that. Will be here Saturday. Thanks for the video looks like cake!

Mike good work, found a backpack blower on a roadside free pile. Fuel tank line assembly and primer bulb later=$14=runs. I love when plan comes together!

Wow, I was going to try and clean out the old one, but for $20.00 guess what? Change it and be done with it. Nice to the point video. Nice job! Thank you!

Craftsman Profesional series trimmers were made by Husqvarna; I have two of them, just like this one being serviced

Mine bogs down still after a new carb. New plug gas is good it'll run trim for a few minutes then dies . I'll fire it up then as I pull the trigger it bogs down . Fuel or filter?

Did you have to adjust the idle. Just replaced my carb with one on Amazon, works when throttling but cuts out on idle.

Might be to much oil in the fuel

I removed the two 8mm screws and my carb won't budge... Yours came out effortlessly... What am I missing?

If it starts and runs great but bogs down and dies if I give it full throttle would it be the carb? I saw this vid and think i can change it myself but don't do something if its not needed

Thank you for the video. It helps a lot.
I saw that OEM carburetor on Amazon. I'm going to buy it.
A quick question: Does the carburetor come preset from the factory? (No screws adjusting?)

My carb doesn't budget when u attempt to take off the throttle cable. You easily moved it with 2 fingers. Any ideas? 💡

Is that carburetor still working today or did it fail?

man you're sitting there just gently tugging the dang carburetor and gas lines off meanwhile i'm sitting here crowbarring the dang things with pliers just barely got it off after like 10 minutes of struggling with it. instead of replacing my carburetor i decided i'd take it apart and clean it and now i lost the damn float valve i'm going to flip out and throw the thing

A new carb is $15 ya dingus. Feel free to try to spend hours on that old gummed up one. But they aren't worth it.
