Somehow people tend to play their instruments drunk just as well as sober, perhaps even better. I tried it myself, and I can confirm that it makes you more confident in what you’re doing haha
@@andershj6524 quite odd really. I play sloppy, but the feel is immaculate. Even when watching videos of myself play drunk the feel is perfect. adversely, playing on MDMA my technique is at an all-time high with a 99% hit rate of playing what I intend to play, how I intend to play it. Although, they can both be overshot if you're too high or drunk.

Great cover, but one thing, and I don't know anything about music theory, so i'm just curious: Why does Euronymous's solo seems way faster in the album version than in any single covers i hear? You say it's full speed and it seems like the length of the solo is the same (50-54 seconds), but Euronymous's version somehow seems (or is it only for me?) faster - even compared to live versions where Ghul (or Teloch? I don't know which one plays the solos) plays it, it doesn't feel as fast as in the album version. Is there any theory behind it or it's just because Euronymous didn't play his solos "perfectly" (i heard it from many places), and it's quite "sloppy"?

maybe his solos are out of rhythm sometimes, because he plays without metronome?
He didn't play the solos perfectly in order not to sound heavy/thrash metal. Listen to his other solos on Life Eternal or even on Burzum's War.
In the album there are more distortion and longer sustain and he played it not pertfectly, but it sounds even better
