The guitarist doesn't have Dead's pain in his voice. That's the one thing missing. Can't fake that.

I'm here, 6 years later, and this cover is still amazing, the best one of this song.
It means a lot that you'd say that. At the end of the day were just some metal heads from a small town doing what we love. I hope and plan to get some more metal content going on here in the future.

In my opinion it would have been a perfect cover if the guitarrist played the solo. He nailed the vocals and the whole band did an excellent job.

I’ve seen quite a few covers of this song but you’re one of the first and the best I’ve seen that uses the version with dead’s vocals as your influence

That's exactly how it was from the beginning. Venom wasn't trying to make good music, they were just trying to scare people. Go watch Metal Evolution- Extreme Metal. Mantas talks in depth about it, I mean even varg didn't give a shit about the music. He purposely made their production shit. It was image and reputation.
