The first song I ever heard of Burzum, I was instantly in trance and I don't know, it is still the best song I ever heard even though it is so simple.
Gives me goosebumps every time. Putting you into a trance is what Burzum’s music is all about. Varg wanted to take you to another realm when you listen.

i think he plugged his mic into an overdriven channel, and he's using a peavy viper modeling amp with either the 6506 or dual rectifier model. i could be wrong, but post production could switch up so much in the tone

I have seen a few of your Burzum covers now, and I have to say, they are marvelous. Not only are they very „realistic”, for the lack of a better word, but for some reason they also capture the feel of the originals to quite some extend. And I am saying that as a Burzum fan.
my uncle always spent his weekends at my house, there we played football and played his old boomerang. Three years ago he had cancer and left us forever. He always listened to this song before lunch. Hearing it again takes me back to a more innocent time in my life.

oh man.. I ended up here by mistake, was looking for the original song... was doing something else and just hit a random video when I saw Dunkelheit but i recognized the different voice and the samples and watched it.. it's awesome... great job you've done
it took nearly 40 minutes, but I translated the Braille message at 6:47. In German, it says "Nie wird die tür verschlossen sein hinter der ich in hieser dunkelheit ausharre, stets auf das licht wartend, welches du in dir trägst." in English, it reads "Never will the door be locked (closed?) behind which I endure in darkness, always waiting for the light which you carry in (within?) you." it's a very rough translation.
