HEY, CUZ!!! This guy has got to be a relative - my uncle Nick spelled the family name with an "or" instead of "er", too. We were all from Chester, PA - where Mrs. DiCostanza (I'm probably spelling that wrong - I was just a kid then) invented the hoggie - or hoagie - it's name coming from the guys who worked out on Hog Island in the Delaware river, and crowded her shop for sandwiches every day. My favorite PCS was from Jim's in Parkside - broke da mouth - as the Hawaiian's like to say. But I wouldn't eat one with wizz on it if I was starving - sharp provolone - that's the ticket. And the winter wheat flour bread from Earo's Bakery - crusty/crunchy on the outside - fresh/fluffy white inside. Mr. & Mrs. Earo lived across the street from us in Brookhaven when I was growing up - she always had a pot of spaghetti sauce on the stove - and loaves of that amazing bread. Those were the days, my friends.

It’s hard to get an authentic philly out west. I really love when I find a place like this that does it right..
I agree! Such a shame!
i just went there a few days ago. best philly cheesesteak ive ever had. would love to try the 2 famous ones in philly and compare
Those famous ones (I’m guessing you mean Pat’s and Geno’s) are weak. Go to a good pizza shop, or Steve’s, Jim’s, or John’s Roast Pork (the best). In North Philadelphia, born and raised, eating cheesesteaks was a big part of lots of my days...
I'm a Jim's girl myself.
@@rbrearey will do if i ever get the chance
Just tried this place and the cheesesteak was great!!
Se ve exelente
Going to set record straight, in the NE they are all called CS most hometown deli's make them this way each region has there own sandwich style
NYC= Chopped cheese
Phiily= Philly CS gotta have whiz
NJ= CS Provolone cheese "no whiz"
Only tourist use Whiz in Philly.
@@lamarwilliams4645 false. Wiz wit is the best combo, American is a close 2nd but completely diff flavor
@@mikebing1230 I from and live in Philly. There is cheesesteaks at every corner store and pizza shop and you won't catch any locals using Whiz.
Chopped cheese is a different sandwich. It's chopped up hamburger meat. Cheesesteak is shaved beef only. Very different.
Mano.......sem palavras, só saliva!
何かもう、ただただ素晴らしい😃
食べたいわぁ…。
My mouth is watering watching this video!
That bread sounds insanely crisp and fresh
Ainda bem que já está na hora do almoço, então não vou passar tanta vontade
I've had Taylor Pork Roll sandwiches, but never heard of a Scrapple. That looks absolutely delicious, as of course the steaks do...
I've worked at pizza restaurants and I made the sauce and dough and delivered to several branches, and this looks more tiring! Respect to the chef!
