Why do people undervalue Rabbid Peach that much? Her healing the entire group with heal is only one action point, while healing every character individualy is every character spending one on items/sparks, meaking her healing ap-effiecent. Plus she can spend her two ap healing and buffing the team, so other characters have room for offensive oriented sparks. Also her weapon is far more flexible than people think. She can turn most full cover into half covers, helping facilitating Discruptor bounces, longer Flying Blade paths or Aerial Shots. Plus due to the arc, she can hit enemies on higher elevations and with her decent range and the right element/or simply a dmg buff applied to it, she can one shot enemy scopers, medicians and reinforcement portals.

she's extremely good at keeping up as well if you're going all agro since she can use the protector spark and become a mini tank, need to retreat? rabbit peach can help do that and then still do some damage to enemies and heal. need to get some enemies away from you for extra time? slap a water, gust or throw dash spark on her and that's 3 enemies out of the picture for the turn especially if someone has hero sight. she's extremely good at finishing weaker enemies off with her dashes and tri troller so its not like your losing out on damage if you use her. she's one of the best character in the game and I don't know how people don't really see that

Rabbid Rosalina can stunlock certain bosses with her dash (such as Midnite, Daphne, and the two shadow bosses at the end of the game) and trivialize them completely. First you send her closer to the target and use Ennui to neutralize the main boss along with several of their allies as you move your whole team in position. Then you can use her dash to keep the main boss frozen for the ENTIRE REST OF THE FIGHT. She is easily S-tier, outshining even Luigi.

Unfortunately with midnite, during her first fight you don’t have access to rabbid rosalina’s skill tree and can’t upgrade the dash, and with daphne you’ve basically already won by the time you reach her platform. Sounds good with the shadow bosses, I’ll have to try that.

I found that Rabbid Rosalina, Rabbid Peach, and Peach were the best for battles that were "last X number of turns to win". Ennui and protection could stall enemies out, while Rabbid Peach continuously healing damage. Add the sparks for invisibility, Regen, and some summons, you just need to keep running.

    • @immahamsteryogamer
      @immahamsteryogamer 2 года назад +8

Same. I had Regen on Rabbid Rosalina, but replaced it with revive, since she usually didn't take damage thanks to her ability and Invisibility Spark. I also gave her Spark Refresher and it activated 6 times in a row in 2 survive for 6 turns battle. She probably didn't need that though.

I’d argue that Rabbid Rosalina is the second best character in the game with Ennui. Number one being the main man Rabbid Mario who carried me through the game (the magnet dance and regen spark are amazing for him because regen boosts his health and can heal him, while magnet dance gives him… well magnet dance, but also a damage increase)

The skill tree as how it is adds more thought and strategy on how you want to play the character, you can play aggressive Mario with the team jump stomp + team jump shot or play defensive Mario with increased hero sight power + hero shot additional shot.

Rabbid Mario has to be the biggest carry in my gameplay, he was in around 80% of my battles because of his dmg, cuz while everyone else did decent damage on average, my man Rabbid Mario doing dmg in the thousands. Absolute chad, I use the invisibility/defense and regen sparks to make him a tank if he's caught in the open, and his unique ability turns the tables on the ranged enemies too. *also when i go afk i can hear him playing his guitar(?) from my Switch, so thats neat.*
Bowser is my "summoner" class character, as his special ability + the summoning spark makes him the best character to target enemies behind multiple areas of cover, as the walking bombs and summoned rabbid act as decoys and put pressure on enemy positions, this also includes bowser's weapon, able to clear the enemy cover, so the summons dont walk around it like a maze.
I built Mario and Luigi to be the ultimate tower guardians, even if they arent on high ground, if they are behind cover and enemies are close enough (except for luigi, dude ignores physical objects and fires shots through them), as soon as they move from cover they get BLASTED out of existence.
If I combine Mario and Luigi with Bowser, you get an ultra defensive combo to stall and draw enemy aggro, which allows mario and luigi to do massive damage.
The only downside is lack of healing, so bringing vampiric sparks will help.

I would like to give my thoughts after playing on hard on my first playthrough.
My main team that I used throughout most battles was Peach, Rabbid Mario (of course), and Rabbid Rosalina. A powerful combo I learned is putting Glitter on Rabbid Mario to pull everyone together, then using peach's shields on Rabbid Mario (to prevent retaliation attacks), then peach would also use Starburst to power up Rabbid Mario even more, and finally rabbid Rosalina would either get a dash in the crowd, or would use Ennui from a distance. And after all of this setup, Rabbid Mario would destroy the everliving CRAP out of those enemies. As a side note, I also would put Screech on Rabbid Rosalina for the passive buff to crit chance, boosting it to 100%, always dealing maximum critical damage that was comparable to Rabbid Mario's damage, but from a distance, single-target and destroys cover.

She can easily deal 5000 damage and above to potentially up to 3 enemies if they're close together, which you can easily do if you have someone use magnet dance. And since Dash Sparks only have two turns of cooldowns you can use one every turn.

    Spark strategies for each character
Rabbid mario: using the luring spark on him is definitely good, but I found better to use another character as a lure, so that he can absolutely wreck a large group of enemies with an elemental attack.
Luigi: the mirror spark and megaphone spark are a good combo for him, allowing for some emergency defense in case he is exposed while also providing good passive damage boosts.
Peach: her weapon is quite good at spreading status effects, specially with wind, as she will send all enemies in a specific direction.
Rabbid rosa: a maxed out weapon can deal MASSIVE damage, the vampire spark gives her a crit chance bonus + vampirism, allowing for guaranteed crits in a boosted weapon, slap in an attack master spark and you'll SHRED boss HP
Mario: the ghost spark is pretty good on him, as it allows you to max out stomp damage without being left vulnerable.
Edge: Bring electro dash + vamp dash for MAXIMUM dashing damage, who needs a weapon anyway?
Bowser: pretty much everything is useful on him, but I prefer summoning sparks to fill the field with minions or defence sparks. Bowser needs to break the cover of snipers and other enemies, this way he can do so without too mush repercussion.
Rabbid luigi: super effects for days, my favorites being poison and freeze as they are predictable, but if you want, you can pick defense boosting sparks to pair with his exaust. Enemies will do nothing to you.
Rabbid peach: being mediocre with most other sparks allows her to be very efficient with 2 in particular: exosphere + starburst. She is always close to allies, and these sparks are best used in these conditions + they give her some nice stat boosts to defense and dash damage.

Even if she is not that great her voice lines are hilarious I love using her heal ability it came in handy during the bedrock fight considering how much damage bedrock does. as well as peach for the barrier. I also used the mechakoopas as a distraction. That's another use for them if the enemies have a mechakoopa to target they'll most likely target it instead of you. I played the entire game in hard mode so that's where I'm coming from with this.
Luigi: I agree with Luigi at S-tier for all the same reasons. Being able to hit 3 times, with increased damage, with 100% crit chance at high ground, THRU COVER, is broken.
Mario: I agree with Mario at A-Tier for all the same reasons. If he had a way to get 3 action points, S-Tier. OverSight is too good not to use every turn, but because of that, it means he can't use Sparks as effectively because those take an action point too. I know there's a Spark ability that increases action points but 25% chance isn't enough.
Princess Peach: Disagree with A-Tier. Princess Peach is garbage, she belongs in C tier only because there's not a F tier to put her in. Her shield lasts one turn, the cooldown is too long, and the damage it does is pitiful. Her shotgun does low damage and destroys cover. The cover is worth more than her shitty shotgun damage so every time she shoots, it's a net loss. She's terrible. Only useful in stages where you have a lot of 1-health Darkmess eyes to defeat.
Rabbid Peach: Disagree with C-Tier. Rabbid Peach belongs in B tier. Her weapon attack sucks but she's great at support and healing. "But healing sparks exist" - yes, which is why I don't place her higher than B tier, BUT for every healing spark you take, that's a different spark you're not taking. You can play more aggressively and with more room for mistakes with Rabbid Peach on the field. Give her Sparks that increase ally damage or protect them and you're pretty safe.
Rabbid Luigi: I agree with B-Tier. Gotta say though, Exhaust is only good when it's fully maxed-out, it's useless before then. Discruptor damage is far too low, especially with how out-of-position you have to get to utilize it and how low the initial range on it is (not talking about the bounce range). He's situationally useful.
Rabbid Mario: I agree with S-Tier. Holy shit, this guy murders almost any map he's on. Give him the stealth Spark that makes him untargetable, an attack spark (I prefer Vamp spark for safety), and he runs around the battlefield assassinating multiple targets with no draw-backs.
Edge: Disagree with B-Tier, she belongs in A-Tier. Edge is the Dash Queen. The fact she can dash 4 times per turn with increasing damage and movement area is really, REALLY good. Give her 2 Dash Sparks of the right element and she can take down the 10k+ HP tiger enemies in one turn by herself and run away back to cover. She's not S-Tier because most bosses can't be Dashed so her greatest strength is useless there, and all the rest of her abilities and attacks are terrible. She's only good at Dashing, but god damn is she good at it!
Rabbid Rosalina: I agree with A-Tier. Ennui is really good and her attack that destroys ONE enemy cover (unlike stupid Princess Peach and Bowser) and her almost-guaranteed crit on every hit with increasing 5% damage per hit makes her constantly be able to kill enemies that you didn't think she was going to kill. Ennui's cooldown is too long and she provides nothing else other than Ennui and an attack so she's not S-Tier.
Bowser: Disagree with B-Tier, he belongs in C-Tier. He's as bad as Princess Peach for the same reasons: Destroys cover and low damage on his attack. His Technique is shit. Low damage, burns enemies for low damage, and burning enemies then run into you and burn YOU getting you out of position. They are good distractions for the enemy (sometimes) but the drawbacks are too severe. Too bad, I really wanted to like him but he's total crap.

    • @laguet93
      @laguet93 Год назад +3

I think Peach might have better offensive potential than people give her credit for, but as far as I'm concerned, I always used her as a damage sponge. She has the second best HP stat of the game, and her technique basically allows you to aggro ennemies while not taking damage and even punish them thanks to the reflect perk. Protect also allows her teammates to play much more offensively because they don't have to worry about taking cover as much and Peach will draw most of the attacks anyways. While the cooldown is long, you Can somewhat make up for it with the team jump perk as it gives 1 shield to a hero who helps her jump. The regen spark is perfect for her as it heals her for three turns, and it synergizes with the heal efficiency perk, usually bringing her back to full health even when over half of her HP is depleted. That way, regen allows her to stall while Team protect recharges, and it also passively increases her already high base HP stat. To top it off, the wildclaw summoning spark increases her defense while also giving her a much better offensive option trough wildclaw. Even better, Summoned allies make for a great distraction as they Can benefit from her shied and ennemies tend to target them in priority. Lastly, investing points in her movement tree allows her to get in a position where she Can have everyone in range to cast team barrier, while also being able to get close to ennemies in order to attack since she's mostly a close range fighter (be it with her regular shotgun attack, or with wildclaw). To me, she's at least B tier, but I totally see where you're coming from.

  • @Oridginale24
    @Oridginale24 2 года назад +9

I mostly agree with your list but I strongly disagree about Rabbid Peach being the weakest hero.
First off, Rabbid Peach’s healing saves money and resources. You never have to spend money on healing or mushrooms when RP is on your team.
If each team member uses a mushroom on a given turn, that’s 3 action points being used out of 6. But RP can heal every one at once which means you’re only using 1 action point of 6 so you can use those 2 extra action points on something else. You don’t need the Regen spark with RP so that’s an extra spark slot you’re saving.
RP’s weapon range is tied for second with Mario and Bowser. Her rockets can travel up and over walls and covers. She can land shots from angles that no one else can. Other heroes may have more damaging weapons but RP’s weapon attack is the most available due to its good range and its ability to go over walls and covers.
RP has the second most dashes in the game after Edge. Dashing is good for chip damage and it also triggers reaction shots so RP can be used to trigger Mario’s and Luigi’s reaction shots.
The combination of RP’s healing and dashes means she’s the perfect compliment to Mario and Luigi. RP can strike first to destroy cover so that Mario and Luigi have clear shots. Rabbid Rosalina can destroy cover but she doesn’t have RP’s range or unique shot trajectory. Bowser can destroy cover but his damage is weaker than RP’s.

Bowser is kinda 50/50 offense support, imo
His damage is fine, but needs positioning to really milk it, and he's eh at single target damage. Mechakoopa is a great disruption tool to scatter enemies or steal their turns. Since he's almost entirely Spark agnostic, he can hold whatever the team needs/doesn't fit, or run something for a more map specific plan.
It's pretty hard to leverage all of his offensive options well at once, especially if there's an offensive Spark in the mix, too, meaning moreso than almost anyone else, Bowser is a huge gap filler. Bowser is a character that doesn't really have a gameplan he needs to stick to, so can kinda just play reactively and roll with whatever makes sense at the moment.

I think Rabbid Rosalina is also S tier, sure her ability cooldown is high but it gives you a whole zone of complete freedom for two entire turns AND it effects bosses too. Any small boss that you can dash attack is trivial with her because you can remove the boss from the game every single turn and everyone else can DPS and she can still shoot something else afterwards with probably the highest damage weapon in the game other than high ground long range Luigi with all the crits that she gets with her ludicrous crit chance that you don't even need to buff. I'd also place Edge higher because movement abilities are broken because it's free dps. All other dps costs a resource but dash attacks are their own thing. She is a potentially highly mobile assassin with a decent weapon that one shots the weird missions where you have to attack a building or something because the spinning sword hits the large model like 7+ times. I think Luigi, Rabbid Rosalina, and Edge/Rabbid Mario is the god tier comp that can cover 80-90% of battles.

    My Tier List would be:
Mario: S-Tier (I find it ironic that once he’s not required to play, he still ends up being the best character in the game. He already Commands the air being able to Stomp Jump and Shoot in Midair, he’d be pretty solid but Hero’s Sight pushes him over the edge. No cooldown, the fact that all overwatch moves react to dashes, no worrying about drop off, and if you can take out an enemy with each sight, INFINITE DAMAGE. Easily the best Technique in the game. He doesn’t even need sparks.)
Rabbid Peach: C-tier (Definitely the worst character in the game, especially when sparks kinda do her thing for her. She’s all about healing which can be avoided if you play your cards right and while still solid, I use her the least.)
Rabbid Luigi: B-tier (Will was broken in Kingdom Battle, and he got nerfed by his signature vamp dash being relegated to a Spark and the fact that stone is replaced by a technique. His Weapon is hit or miss, and his technique needs the Exosphere Spark to be broken, since with good positioning, he’s able to allow the party to soak up damage for an entire turn super effects not withstanding.)
Luigi: S-Tier (Still as Mobile, and still has insane range, similarly to Mario, he relies on his broken technique to thrive which his weapon has drop off and also doesn’t give infinite damage, but Ghost Bullet allows Steely Stare to go through Cover and terrain and with that insane reach, you can tear through enemies. And his health is reasonable too.)
Rabbid Mario: S-tier (Needs no introduction, The ability to do five hits of damage with your weapon and continue moving is as broken in practice as it is in theory. Even then, you can run Glitter to reel in enemies before letting destruction commence. His only con is his technique, it’s incredibly niche and relies on enemy position, nonetheless he’s overpowered.)
Peach: A-tier (Peach had quite a Blowup since being the Worst character in Kingdom Battle, and her Technique is quite good as a result. Allowing Heroes to absorb damage and super effects for up to four hits, or five if you team jump or take out an enemy with Peach, she’s certainly a lot more of a tank now.)
Edge: A-tier (Her ace in the hole is her insane mobility, thanks to her dashes allowing her to cheese Reach Area missions. Makes Glitter and Dash Sparks viable for her. On top of that, she can do good damage to multiple close enemies and there are some uses to Stormblade. Not a busted character but she’s great.)
Rabbid Rosalina: S-tier (I have every reason to believe she’s overlooked. Her Ennui coupled with Ethering make her break pretty much every fight she’s in since she never takes damage. Also makes her an excellent candidate for Glitter. Her Critical hit rate is absurd especially combined with Wake-up Slap making her hit hard too. Second best character in the game losing only to Mario.)
Bowser: B-tier (This is a weird one to talk about, His Ground Pound is sort of similar to Rabbid Mario’s Area Dash, and can be situationally good, but he can also destroy cover instantly, and his ace in the hole are the rabbid mechakoopas. You can have up to five, that you can throw to take out certain enemies, or inflict burn. For his weapon, I like to run Vampastra and Screech to make his critical hit rate as absurd as Rabbid Rosalina’s. Either way Bowser can be tough in the right Circumstances.)

For the longest time, i barely used RLuigi as the only builds I came up with made him a Walmart RRosalina at best. But now I think i've found a way to make him pretty useful
-Fully upgrade his weaken technique, and invest in the spark skill tree, specificaly the perk that gives you a chance to ignore sparks cooldowns and the perk that gives an action point for using a spark.
-Use the remaining skill points to max out his range and number of ennemies he can hit.
-Then equip him with pulstar and an elemental spark of your choosing (it'll depend on the ennemies' weaknesses, but I recommend either using water, wind, fire or ice). Best case scenario, you'll be able to weaken your ennemies, buff your allies with pulstar, shoot the ennemies with an elemental shot in the same turn.
The real power of this build isn't RLuigi himself but how it allows his teammates to become killing machines. See, RLuigi's massive advantage over RRosalina is the defense drop they can both inflict. Ennui disapears right after you hit the ennemy, along with the defense drop, while the debuffs RLuigi inflicts will remain for the entire turn, no matter how many hits you land. It also has a MUCH better range than ennui. Which means you can have Luigi, the Green Sigma, shoot three times with steely stare which gives a 120% boost to his shots, with a 100% crit rate, an additonal 60% boost from pulstar, on ennemies that have their defense reduced by 30%. If you gave luigi a spark that passively raises his base damage by 30% and an elemental spark (If you wanna deal as much damage as possible, use the Ice spark if the target isn't resistant to it because it gives a 65% boost instead of the 60% grantes by all other elemental sparks. That 5% more damage, if combined with the other bonuses i mentioned, will amount to much more than any status effect ever will) you'll deal over 11 000 damage per steely stare shot. Pair these 2 with Mario running a hero sight build, equiped with either elemental sparks or the vampire spark, and the mario bros will decimate entire armies in a single turn. And that's why you should have a spark that allows RLuigi to inflict wind/fire or water on ennemies, because these will make the ennemies move, so you can trigger Steely stare/Hero Sight whenever you want. RMario, being the second best DPS after Luigi, can also benefit a lot from RLuigi, especially if you have Glitter and invested skill points in RMario's dashes, depends on the map layout obviously.
So yeah, to me RLugi is designed to be a debuffer/buffer. With this build, i can kill Bedrock, Bowser and Edge in a single turn.

I'm nearly done with my first playthrough and I mained with Mario, Luigi and rabbid peach. The other guys I liked but they didn't get much use. Marios spec ability is broken being able to be used every turn and attacking 2+ enemies at a distance saved me quite a bit. And his normal ability being able to target 2 different things at once was a godsend. 1 charge was a little annoying but 3 stomps was fantastic.
Luigi was a mainstay because of his high damage at long distance and his spec ability being able to take out 5+ enemies when paired with Mario every other turn was incredible. And being able to charge up to 3 different enemies and help move the teammates around the map easier.
Peach was on my team mostly because of her healing ability. Sure you can use mushrooms and the regenesis spark. At times I had to. But having a dedicated healer was not only necessary at times but incredibly viable because not only the damage you can take, but it frees up useful and necessary ability points for others to use. Her being able to hit enemies from behind cover where the others can't came in clutch. And being able to charge 3 enemies was great.
Her and Luigi only being able to hit one target at a time with their normal attacks was a pain at times but their spec abilities more than make up for it.

Idea: Have Peach, Rabbid Peach, and Bowser on the team. Have each carry one of the three summon sparks. On turn 1, summon all of them along with Bowser's Rabbid koopa, have peach protect them all, and Rabbid peach to buff them up with the power spark. Alsso heal them from time to time when necessary.
Congratulations, you just turned Mario and Rabbids 2 into a Pokemon game. Have fun!

Your tier list is actually super similar to my own. The one major difference is that I have Rabbid Rosalina in S-Tier.
I don't necessarily think she's the best character in the game, I just think her playstyle is really fun.
This is how I ranked them if you're curious:
    *_S-Tier:_*
    1) Rabbid Mario
    2) Luigi
    3) Rabbid Rosalina
    *_A-Tier:_*
    4) Mario
    5) Peach
    *_B-Tier:_*
    6) Edge
    7) Rabbid Luigi
    *_C-Tier:_*
    8) Bowser
    *_D-Tier:_*
    9) Rabbid Peach

There are two sparks on Rabbid Mario which absolutely break this game. Ethering and Glitter. Both go on Rabbid Mario.
Ethering makes the user invisible for 2 turns and not able to be targeted by weapons, enemy hero sights, dashes, etc. Using this, Rabbid Mario is able to approach super easily and do tons of damage.
Glitter is the more busted one. It essentially gives Rabbid Mario back Magnet Dance but better. Every enemy in its radius is instantly drawn to a position DIRECTLY ADJACENT to Rabbid Mario.
By the way, Rabbid Rosalina is still the best in the game because Ennui can literally stunlock the final boss infinitely.

I’m used to Super Paper Mario and Bowser’s Inside Story where ol’ Jack Black was able to unleash tons of damage very easily, so him being more of a defensive “pest” sort of character like R. Luigi was an unexpected, but not bad choice. He’s blatantly built on not letting the enemy have any cover and strategic placing, and thus having great chemistry with the OP Luigi.
I really hope that the DLC has enemies that are leveled in the 40s and allows us to max the skill tree, that bugs the hell out of me that you can’t do it.
Will there be a little bonus for this video when you include Rayman when his DLC comes out in…about a year?

Thanks for the video, I just finished 100 %
Intrinsically, I would have put rabbit Luigi c tier because without spark, very difficult to get something solid, even though he's fun
For bowser, his weaknesses make him often get the problem instead of helping in battle, so C tier for me
For rabbit harmony, s tier, as she can : break through walls so guarantee to hit, crazy amount of damage with her machine gun, freezing opponents si an insane advantage as you can get close to your target with everybody, then punch em right in the face, then freeze them to get to strategic positions, and it allows to deal with opponents separately and that is awesome, especially in boss battles
For the rest of the list, really agree 🙂👍

I can totally see how you feel about Rabbid Luigi. He is amazing for dealing with a large number of well protected enemies if he uses splash or gust.
Personally, I do not like playing as Rabbid Mario. Even with his high HP and moving after shooting, I feel like his range is too low to be useful.

Solid opinions. I would put bowser in bottom tier, as he is just terrible in general. I think Rabbit Peach is B tier for sure, she is great utility with her weapon hitting over low cover, low CD heal(other defensive abilities have higher CD), as well as 3 dashes. She was really good in my Mario/Luigi team, triggering their hero sight effects by burning enemies behind covers and dashing into enemies many times.

just some things I want to point out that make some characters higher or lower (imo):
Rabbid Peach is absolutely essential if you don't want to use items or spend coins for healing, which I think a lot of players do since the game is pretty easy already. Also, the fact that it just takes one of her actions + her team jump to heal everyone around her by 55% is pretty insane, way better than having to spend one action slot per character to heal, and even arguably better than Rgenesis in some situations since Regenesis only really activates at the start of your next turn, so if you need the healing right at that moment then you're kinda dead with regenesis.
Thanks to how it boomerangs, Edge's attack does more damage to large enemies, which puts her higher imo. Also, you can trigger the "overwatch" abilities by dashing into an enemy, and this lets you do some cool stuff with Edge, using an action and a dash to deal a ton of damage to everything in range of her ability.
And for Rabbid Mario, you didn't even mention how their weapon can hit as far up or down as you need it to, and it also completely ignores enemy cover! Not that it changes their ranking, they're already easily the best character. Honestly, the only thing even remotely balanced about them is their super low glide time.

0:34 My personal answer would always, be, I have to like more than that one video to subscribe. So far I would consider Edge one of the best, that might mean not much but dashing kinda destroyed Trauma if that's her english name.
I was using Mario in the beginning, Peach for the most part between world 1-2 and currently it's Edge, R-Rosalina and Luigi. Not to sure on which sparks are perfect but I'm giving Edge the vampire and ghost one.
Luigi the once to crit and hit.

Playing the entire game on hard mode, and having the crippling disease of FOMO, Rabbid Peach completely erased my need for healing items. I don’t think I used a mushroom or the upgraded variants the whole playthrough! Having her urgent care ability to buff her healing on weak allies turned her into my walking hospital, all while saving the action points of much more influential characters.
My team throughout the game was Rabbid Mario, Peach, and Rabbid Peach (Luigi will forever be my favorite, and Rabbid Rosalina shone like the stars, but this was my most frequently used team). With the latter two heroes packing support sparks and preventing the Mustached Macho from not wiping everything on the screen, I definitely recommend this team to whoever gives this a glance.
I feel like the balance of this game was a lot better than the last, where a few turned fights into a joke, but no character was unusable. Kingdom Battle was a completely different story when you had to justify not running Luigi lol

You can clear most maps easily with Rabbid Mario and any other character using the spark that pulls enemies toward you. Preferably Luigi, since he can cover the most ground with his two team jumps. Have Luigi round up enemies, have your third character use the damage boost spark, then have Rabbid Mario kill everything in one shot.
