My understanding of retainers as a new freelance writer is that they will be amazing for clients who need specific things monthly (like 2 emails a week, or 4 blog posts a month, etc) but not great for clients who need more flexible arrangements (sometimes a sales page, sometimes an instagram post, etc)
agree! if you can get 1-2 retainer clients though, it's a great way to get some stability in your freelance income

@Rehmat Gul I'm also just a newbie! My portfolio is just 3 pieces of sample works because I haven't worked with anyone yet. I just made a welcome email sequence (6 emails), abandoned cart emails, facebook ad, and I'm going to create a sales page. You can do that too!

Just a question, if you're earning so well with copywriting, why did you also start a RUclips channel to teach copywriting? no offence, I'm genuinely curious.
Most freelancers need guidance! I am super appreciative of her work and her desire to share it. Plus, it's probably nice to diversify income with additional things you enjoy + can do well... nothing wrong with that :-)
To build a personal brand. This allows her to one gain clients or project work by showcasing that she is experienced and knowledgeable. Also, gives us the viewers more insight to the journey we will have.
