So i'm working on starting a commercial window cleaning business and with it being B2B, I will greatly benefit from a strong LinkedIn profile and the ability to network and write copy to cold pitch local business owners that may need their windows cleaned. I thought i would share this in case you hadn't thought of similar potential target markets for your products and services. Learning how to write copy and cold pitch on LinkedIn is great for any B2B business owner

Who would be a profitable clientele in the mental health niche ? I wanted to target blogs talking about neurodiversity and mental health disorders (adhd, anxiety, etc.) but these blogs aren't selling products...they're focused on raising awareness rather than sales focused. So I don't know if it would be a profitable niche to write about...

most people need practical examples here ...not story telling type ...show that what you you did

I feel this heavy. Been in a constant loop of learning copywriting, taking notes, practicing, outreaching, stopping bc I overthink, month or more break and having to relearn and go through that cycle again. Especially because I watch a different guru or creator that has a different strategy. Lol

Can u do without Instagram and Facebook as a freelance copywriter?

I'm just getting started with copywriting. I've been published in the AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution) four times and in a local paper a few times as well. I don't really want to get involved with social media. It just seems like a quagmire to me. But, I love the idea of me sitting here on my couch with my cats making a living. I'm setting up a website on Squarespace to post some of my writing.Thanks for the insightful information.

Yikes. This video hits too close to home. I started my corporate career in 2004 and started looking at copywriting soon after taking course after course. crazy amounts of money for nothing.

Spot on with your advice! Its been hard taking messy action because im a perfectionist and have a fear of failure (that im working on). However, i did land a 3 month communications assistant position with the university im attending so thatll help with my portfolio pieces and pitching! 😊 🎉

Thank you for this, Christine. Honest advice, in this example of copywriting, that you rarely hear. It's so easy to get stuck in a loop buying course after course and never implementing anything because 1) you're not ready 2) if you invent in this next course, then you'll be ready, and 3) I bought way too many courses, I'm not stuck in analysis paralysis. I learned recently (like two months ago), that you gotta go out there and scrap up your knees... fall down, fail, get uncomfortable, and write shitty copy. A book or course can only teach you so much. Thanks again!
