george is mymein here,( infact very noticeable) this is his voice from the 1970s, if you watch closely the words don,t match with his mouth, (singing carries on etc after he,s closed his mouth)

KC & Richard Finch of KC & The Sunshine Band wrote and produced this. It was the result of their playing around with a drum machine at TK Records. TK decided that KC's falsetto wasn't good enough for the big leagues so theys brought in McRae, who did backing vocal sessions for the label, to do the vocal, and a #1 hit was born.

After all these years this is STILL a fantastic track, however....this is not a live track. Yes George did appear on the Jools Holland show and yes he did sing it live but someone has replaced the live audio with the studio track, and if you don't believe me, check out that video for yourselves. This takes nothing away from brilliant George Mcrae and this classic banger, it will outlive us and carry on entertaining many generations of music lovers.
You should be the first to react to My Pledge of Love by Joe Jeffrey . I think you will like it .
P.S.: as I said in my other comment, I think that You could react to the smash hit "Dancing Queen" (1976) by the swedish legends ABBA
