Oh, wow, very cool! It's like double the size, which kind of makes sense, mathematically, ha ha! But still appears really huge! It was a cool project, well done!
It looks awesome and also looks like a ton of fun out there driving around! It also makes the regular Ultima look so dinky like it is a 1/18th scale buggy!! I am so glad the wheels held up, they really look awesome!! I am not sure about the wing, unless you completely covered it in vinyl and then di colored vinyl on top but it would still get all scarred and torn up with tumbles.
im so tempted to get a flux. ideally id love the petrol version but i live in a built up area and it would be too noisy. as a teen i loved the baja but couldnt even begin to afford it. now im an adult with a few quid i think im due a mid life crisis! great vid
Go for it! I'll take the blame. I do agree with you on flux vs petrol. The petrol is awesome but it gets more and more difficult to find place to run them without irritating those around you.
You can paint it with lexan PS paint and then clear over them with TS paint, the lexan paints is designed with enough flex agent in it to flex with the plastic and it stick well to clean surfaces.
Great work on both. The larger scale Ultima wheels really sells the whole package. Have you looked into doing the wheels from the Ultima/Lazer Kyosho did, in big scale?
Thank You! I haven't really looked at the other Kyosho cars. Having come from the world of Baja's initially. The box art on the Re-re Ultima always made me think of the HPI Baja.
That build Rocks! 🤘Bryce. We watched this on Koprc last Tuesday. If you like to check that out. I’m subbing brother. I seen your return to the rc hobby video. Keep it up bro.👍
Those are awesome and looked great together. The 1/5 really handled it well. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
fantastic video. love the rooster tails and creative camera shots.
Very cool run of both cars. But my heart still belongs to the Ultima.
That large machine ..... I thought it would look sluggish at that size, but it really rips. You're mowing the lawn with that!
Brushless, and lipos knows no bounds.🤷
Gotta love the almost instant power of brushless. Electric RC's have come a long ways. And, I still need to play around with gearing...
the baja looks realy great this way ! thanks for the vdo we love it ! :)
Thank You!
Kpop and double clutch said I gotta see your stuff ..killer build !!
Awesome stuff. I love (and have) both of these buggies. I remember the first time I saw a 5b, instant reaction was, that's just like the Ultima.
Awesome runs the 5b rips

Great video . Great to hear the ideas and plans you and your boy have in RC. That's what it is all about

awesomte cars! I have an ultima rere and it's a sweet buggy on the track ...
it is a nice little car. I need to get it out to my local carpet track.
3:10 Glad to see they held up. Prof of concept
6:40 Was my first thought as well. Vinyl maybe
7:30 The white lettering is awesome on the Ultima
Kpop mentioned you in his lastest live. New subscriber.

KpopRC sent me..
Hope you do a slideshow photo of both..
Try Bulldog Adhesion promoter on that wing. Most automotive paint stores carry it . Oops I forgot your in California that may not be the case....

Looking great next to it's mini brother. How much run time did you get with what batteries?
I've ordered 4 of the cheaper 10.000mah 4s packs from zeee on amazon, I'll report back how long I can run on stock gearing.
How bout vinyl wrapping the wing
Where can I get a set of those wheels for my baja?
Can get paint for slot cars where you paint the inside not outside
Thanks for the tip. The wing is non-transparent plastic so it wouldn't work. Though the idea of a polycarbonate wing might be interesting.
Kpop sent me as well

I saw that. That was really nice to have the shoutout on his video. Than you for the sub and your time!
