I spent 3 hours on this boss. Turned to this video for guidance (it worked btw) just for my friend to beat it first try with the bleed thorns spell. That spell trivializes this boss completely
Damn he's really a vigor check isn't he lol. I have 60 vigor with crimson amber medallion 3 and erdtree favor. +2 rocking red knight helm for 2560 ho and he still tanks me
For all people wondering what my stats are (from what I can remember): - 60 vigor - 30 mind - 20 endurance - 10 strength - 20 dexterity - 90 intelligence - 10 faitg - 7 arcana I am level 180 (keep in mind that the starting stats don't count as levels) I am at ng+2 I use Lusat's staff+10 and every light sorcerer clothing will do.
That is the most docile I've ever seen this boss. I've tried this same strategy a ton of times and before I can even cast the spell she switches agro and leaps across the arena to smash me, or snipes me with a laser to interrupt. You got VERY LUCKY.
Nah, just a skill issue on your part I'm afraid and if you *really* can't beat her, look at the other comments there are enough people using other cheese methods.

When you realize you’ve been hanging out with crystal sage from ds3 archives for 6 months before dlc and then they hit you with that crystal sage Lion spirit riding you around. Comet azur, abso lutely brother.
Bleed is the best cheese for most of the DLC bosses, they all seem to be weak to Hemorrhage……… spam Swarm of Flies and use a Mimic with Dragon Seal two handed, and his only spell is Swarm of Flies………. Goes down fast, just be good at rolling
I killed her in less than 1 minute with bleed. Swarm of flies spam while she's doing the AOE attacks. Swarm hits her numerous times due to her size and the spell moving slowly and pops bleed every time for over 6k each. Curve bandit sword with seppuku if you want to slap her a few times up close. I'm willing to bet mimic with a pair of curve bleed swords could solo her.
Ya know every boss in the game is easy when you use this build in playthrough 1. Bring it to number 7 or up and it doesn't do anything to any real boss. Bleed is still king unfortunately
You can use any 'tanky summon', I personally use the Loathsome Dung Eater Puppet, but he is kind of hard to get. You need to make him drink Seluvis's potion.

Meteorite of Astel works just as good if not better since it also lets you stagger the boss

Some skill, some luck. I've yet to beat her trying different methods even Azure and almost got her down, but the agro she kept on me was insane.

Off hand: Lusat's Glintstone Staff+10
Head: Divine Beast Head
Chest: Azur's Glintstone Robe
Arms: High priest gloves
Legs: Lionel's Greaves
Talismans: Marika's Soreseal, Dragoncrest Greatshield talisman, Erdtree's favour +2, Godfrey's Icon.
Flask of Wondrous Physick: Cerulean Hidden Tear, Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear.
