To anyone wondering: you can get the night armour that the person wielding the sword of night was wearing inside “Bonny Gaol” , which is across the bridge south from Bonny village
Adding to this:
Once you ride down a jar down to a bridge before the boss, you have to ride that same jar back up, it will take you to a platform that is higher than the one you came back from, the sword will be waiting in front of you as you alight

I have no idea how anyone figured this out. I’d been stuck trying to get to the second ruins and had almost given up.
These guys are definitely looking into the source code of the game to find stuff, nobody just stumbles onto this
@@russellmuscle7434 i stumbled my way through pretty much every sidequest in the dlc including this one. it's honestly deranged how much exploring there is to do. some of the messages from other players in-game definitely helped some though. thank you miyazaki.

You can do it! Don't forget that you can summon other players to help with bosses that you are stuck on, and don't feel bad to use the bird farm to or other rune farming strategies to get some levels with ease 👍
The dlc gets easier over time. You just need to get max blessings

WARNING !!! As soon as you go past the "Bridge Leading To The Village" Grace. It is going to trigger the Great Rune breaking. Which could ruin some side quests if you are interested.
Save this sword for later if you dont wanna mess up a ton of side quests. If you dont care, then go for it.

This was definitively my favorite mission
So all I did was defeat the invader that gives you the claws then the boss but now the Npc that’s has the weapon is not there so is there something I’m missing
U have to go back and interact with the throne again and there should be ANOTHER invader fight that pops into the church/chapel area, then after u kill that invader go back to the throne and u should see ymir there all pissed off and ready to fight u, after u defeat him, THEN the npc with the weapon should be there laying next to one of the pillars.
Homeboy didnt have the pet with him the time b4 he dissappears, but it still appears everything is fine..i havent actually killed that finger monster yet but his throne opened up and everything seems fine for when im strong enough to take this boss on.
For those who did all the steps and he didn't disappear, just choose every dialogue option below the purchase menu then reload the area. (If that doesn't work, purchase every spell he sells, idk which one did it for me)

I was really hoping I could rush to get this but in reality it's a rush to fight that boss, which makes me just wanna take my time to eventually get to that sword now.
I’ve done all the steps and got all the maps and talismans and items but he won’t disappear no matter how many times I travel or rest. And I have exhausted all dialogue
If you fancy a shield to match the sword and you like the armor Yolan wears, you can find them in Bonny Jaol. If you followed this guide, you should've unlocked the teleport to Bonny Village, then cross the bridge to the south and hug the righthand side until you reach the entrance to the dungeon. Scour the dungeon and you will get the armor, and not far from that is the shield. Enjoy!
I didn’t think this would progress my world this much without killing any bosses. Now all the other NPCs have been affected while I was just trying to set up to make sure I didn’t miss the sword.
Theres a bug/glitch in the questline.
If you sound the first horn in the south. Then get the iris of occulation at the fort of reprimand.
Fast travel to the cathedral, ymir wont be there and you can move his chair and do the boss fight.
Im not sure if this will break the game. I didnt sound the second bell. I didnt go through with the invader or boss fight and fast traveled to get prepared. When i got back ymir was there again.

I was able to open the secret passage after the first ruin by accident. I missed out on the new black spell.
For some reason he wasn5 snugglint the creeply grawly guy and he didnt dissapear when i fast travelveld
Sorry if you mentioned it, I’ve got to the part where you speak to him and rest at a grace and he is meant to disappear. Yet he is not disappearing. Is there a certain amount of if game progress or anything you have to make before he move. Thanks !

As someone who loves katana it’s amazing however there a bug with it as it’s supposed to scale with magic as well but doesn’t the devs have said that they are working on it then it will be the true broken beast it should be

So I was to the last part of the questline where I had to kill Jolan first and then Ymir and I did but I killed him and died.. When I tried again and killef first Jolan he refused to spawn, tried everything can't fix it, any ideas? I really wanted that weapon

Talk to Black Night in same area then exhaust ALL dialogue on chair npc. Then travel to sight of grace.

Take a right and go through the canyon while going left. Along the way. And you'll fight an easy boss to obtain the star lined katana. A very interesting find. Which is pretty cool.

These weapons are ok... what gamers dont tell you is that in order to do insane damage like this... you have to search for as many Scadtree Fragments you can find.
Once you're Buffed Up.... then your weapons and Spells will be crazy strong against the enemies in the DLC Not The Base Game.... not all but most of new weapons and Spells are significantly weaker.
Tip: Try all new weapons and Spells in the Base game against Underground Roadside Beast and late game Giants
I have been using the underground roadside beasts as a measuring stick as well. Only one or two of the weapons I have found have been strong vs them. The backhand blades are nice because you can dodge their attacks and get a combo off then dodge again.

What is considered adequate fragments for this fight?
I had 9 levels when I did it, bigger note than the fragments is the fight nulls out quite a bit of weapon because the boss moves a lot or can knock you out of animation easily
nope I have the weaphat does the most damage, one shot kills everything..... you find it when you hit the church district... name of the weapon is called " The rooftop"

At 9:47... I can not for the life of me make that jump. I've tried about fifty times now and every single time I fall in the water. Am I missing something. Was a phenomenal guide up to that point....

My character simply will not make the distance required. I will give anybody $500 to come to my house and prove me wrong.
