@@MortiefiedBear yes but its more of a deflect than a regular block, u time when u press ur block button like as if its a sekiro parry. the animation looks the same but there's a little ding noise when its timed correctly and ofc no damage taken
1:42 - Everyone is talking about how awesome the new Sekiro flask component is, but this parry here and others like it are equally as impressive. The windup is so short and you reacted to it so quickly that it's honestly amazing. I can get the other 3 windups, but I've always struggled to see this attack coming - very, very impressive.

@Slipknockout oh 0:16 is fine if you're deflecting because the window is enough for that - you can get it with practise. Parrying it, however, means you need to press the parry input much earlier than if you are just deflecting, and that's what I struggle with.

Her pressure is still somewhat manageable and takes skill to do it effectively. Combos from other bosses on the other hand, are pure BS. There are there to just pressure you continuously like the Final Boss.

It's not reaction time. He drilled the fight, knowing what to expect and when to respond in a stylish way. He could totally do it far earlier but doing it at the time the glintblade start coming toward him is far more stylish. It's much more effort than simply reaction.

I think this deflect tear is the result of Miyazaki trying out Lies of P since he already said in a interview that "he played some soulslikes & tried to learn from them to better the experience for his games" before DLC was released.
100/10 the most cinematic fight I've ever witnessed, period. The way you fight use all those spells, stances... like every single thing in your arsenal... it's so beautiful to witness.
I was expecting a cool fight but I was utterly amazed with the show of mastery of multiple mechanics. I love that Ongbal weave in those counterspells and the finish with Twin Moon is a satisfying spectacle

She is a good boss with some flaws not my favorite but pretty fun. My only really big complaints about her is she doesnt stop attacking and has long attack chains, if the attack chains were shorter it would suck less but they are slightly to long, and i feel like she would be more fun if put later in the dlc, as she is one of the hardest bosses in the game, if fhey put her later in the dlc think people would be less mad. Decent boss, cool lore, fun to look at, great rewards 8/10.

I love how you mix-mached a lot of different tools, spells, weapons...I mean, essentially disrespecting the boss entirely but that's the fun of it XD Also, the good thing with your videos is that they're never long. Any fight that would take about 10 to 15 minutes for any mortal always last less than 3 minutes for you lol
i actually fought her with almost only deflecting hardtear and milady on my first playthrough. it makes it such a fun and engaging fight. can highly recommend
There will come a time when Miyazaki will truly take notice of you, and make a boss based on you or at the very least named after you, as some sort of 'easter egg'. And it will be the most difficult optional boss he will have created.
You can now cosplay owl with that weapon, and maybe fire perfumer for firecracker. We already have parry and mist raven. Wonder what's closest to the owl attack though.
