Qigong exercises to manage Stress and Anxiety

  • This is a Qigong exercise from Dr. Libby. she says these calming exercises get us out of the flight or fight mode and into the green zone which is the rest and digest mode of the nervous system.
    With all the stress in today's world, these are great movements to calm you down and help you deal with your anxious feelings.
    I have written a book on how to manage stress and anxiety in the 20th Century and how Tai Chi can help. I include some simple Tai Chi basic movements that you can practice anywhere when you need to calm your nervous system.
    You can find a copy here: shorturl.at/acjV3
    Let me know in the comments below how you go.

    This is going to save my life. I have suffered severe anxiety since childhood from c-ptsd and after the 5th round I immediately felt it drop away. I love that I can practice these movements anywhere. It’s also amazing how each different energy practice feels different in the body and when you move and play with it. Forever thanking you in this life and all lives immemorial 💜

    I have a question. I’m not sure what to feel or think when you instruct to put the energy in the belly. I have symptoms in my belly when anxious, so I feel I should be releasing energy from my belly instead of putting energy in.

    • @Taiflow
      @Taiflow  3 года назад +1

      Yes Dr. Libby rocks for sure! We keep our internal fire in the belly. So when you move Qi you always return it back to the belly. Keep practicing Tai Chi and you will learn to control your anxious feelings so don't worry about mixing it all up in the belly. The Qi fire will burn out the anxiety in the end.

    Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and wisdom, it is amazing, the more I practice, the more connected I am, the more I have the taste of the feeling of the energy flowing. Let me ask you this, is it Ok, if in certain parts of the excercise I close my eyes? Thank you again. Warm regards.

    Hello dear, I’m enjoying the different modules daily, it’s part of my life , love them ❤
    Just wondering, in this video at the first part u are saying ,take the tension to the belly , something like this , shouldn’t we release it out and not keeping in our body the tension? What’s your thoughts,
    And thank u again for these beautiful videos

      Imagine you belly is a cauldron of hot magic that burns away your tensions and turns them into a heat that ignites you into positive action free from worry.
