- XDefiant just got a major patch today changing the game up for bunnyhopping and crouch movement spammers. Snipers now have flinch and we get quality of life improvements.

It actually takes effect on the 3rd jump !!
Bunny hopping nerf doesn’t even take effect until 4 jumps. So it’s basically a useless nerf with zero affect.
Yea if you wait about half a second inbetween the hops you can work around it.
I think it takes effect after the 2nd jump and each after gets worse and worse
@@1EnZBosS1 I agree but with a lot of gunfights often being team stacks I doubt many will get the chance to do that before they die because most win gun fights off bunny hops. Won’t be time to wait then react unless whoever you are fighting is just that bad

Just make sure you get shots on snipers first...if you dont dink them it is still the same outcome as prepatch haha.

Thank god. These were probably the two main reasons I uninstalled the game. I don’t expect it to be much better this way but this is fantastic news even if it’s mild.

Can’t have snipers with no flinch and nonstop bunny hoping while also have inconsistent hit reg and getting shot around corners you know you made. It’s too unpredictable, shouldn’t be any nonstop bunny hoping. Two or three max with increased penalties after
Youre correct, the sniper changes really matter if you are being shot first, not the other way around :)

As a casual player I hate the bunny hopping. I can see all the sweat dripping from all the hopping.
Admits snipers are cheesy but yet you want them to stay the same?
Much rather the other weapons be buffed then useless = otherwise it really is a cod clone. Cause it's 1 of the Worst factors.
The bunny hopping and sniper flinch were mentioned previously and im glad they’re implemented in retrospect, i dont mind the 3rd-4th jump the aim sway starts cause if its a tryhard im dead within 1-2 hops and therefore know my place. Its the individuals that are trash and cant aim whilst jumping and itd be the 3rd-4th jump that gets me and its just correction on my part and im usually on the winning side of those gunfights. Now that the skill gap requires a kill for bunny hoppers with 1-2 jumps and no death for me, jim carrey pops in my head from Dumb and Dumber “so theres a chance”. Lol
This is probably an unpopular opinion but I’d love them to add a non-ability playlist. I’d much prefer this game without the hero shooter stuff; I find they make the game & gunfights much more unpredictable

I want a purely just = 1 in the Chamber mode.
No other modes Forced aka party mode mixed. They did it on purpose I feel.
Sameway they removed global player counter & removal of wager/2x wager matches.

Its not a fix. Plus you can still strafe in air. People can literally jump 4 times before it takes effect you can empty a mag by then.
No need to tune. Aiming penalty looks perfect as is

I think bunny hopping in call of Duty and this game is really dumb. Just ruins the emersion

@Ceezy_yt absolutely not then every game will just be the same, this is a W, even tho I stopped playing after I got all the achievements between spamming the jump, no flinch on snipers and that annoying spider bot those was really the only issues I had, I'm sure the net code will get better eventually

Snipers definitely needed a nerf, the only real downside was if you missed a shot, I don’t know about the jumping and crouching though, that doesn’t bother me much.

I'm normally ok when snipers are cheesy but these were broken in a game that is all about objective play so it didn't really fit in my opinion.

Bunny Hop nerf makes no difference at this point, players have enough jumps to still take advantage of it.
Don't tune it. It's perfect. But all someone needs is 2-3 hops to win a gun fight

Idk if it’s because I haven’t played controller in years but it felt like when people were jumping my aim assist just breaks. Feels really weird to me but I’m not a main controller player anymore.
Snipers need to lose a bit of aim assist too. It’s way to easy to snipe
I think its good they nerfed bunny hopping. Xdefiant should be the game for all the ex cod players who hate movement systems so cod can actually improve.
Wow XDefiant, you guys are off to a killer start. You guys just added ADS penalty after like the 4th jump. Who tf even takes that long? Gunfight is over after the 2nd jump if not the 3rd. I absolutely love how everyone puts all their eggs in this games basket and they absolutely butcher the first patch. 😂 I’m going right back to Cold War and waiting till October.

Good I’m glad they nerfed. Honestly it should be after the second jump. And I think it should be even more severe. It should be so punishing that it makes all these garbage bunny hoppers not ever want to jump again. The jumping (and hit direction) completely ruined that game for me already. The game is garbage.

I've already dropped the game tbh. I take no pride in saying it but it's just... meh. It's very Ubisoft that is for sure.
I just tried it. I saw that they took assets mostly from Ghost Recon and The Division, but the gunplay for me is just terrible, it feels weird.

I got to test the new movement and I don't like it. You feel stuck to the ground when trying to jump and change directions or bunny hop. I think they should have never touched the movement because that's why this game blew up in the very begining. My first involvement with the game was because there was rumors that Mark Rubin was making a game where you can straif mid air during jumping. When those rumors were going around everyone wanted to get their hands on it specifically because of that. Now that draw is completely gone. It feels too much like COD now actually worse than COD. This games movement was the big draw even before no SBMM was announced.
Snipers 100% needed that nerf. Idk why these devs always make snipers have zero flinch.
Shooting at someone with a sniper and nailing every shot just to get one shotted in the foot by some guy with a sniper was unbelievably stupid.
The bunny hop nerf was literally just a fuck you. The devs are so set on, "if you suck, you suck" but nerf things that give players an advantage in movement. If you can't shoot someone who's jumping around, you suck. Get better. 🤷🏼♂️ I personally didn't have a problem with it. I never had any issues killing people who did do it.
This game is fast and fun but they seriously have a lot of work to do to make it enjoyable.
Finally a game mode where i dont have to worry about an objective and just focus on kills! Oh wait thats every mode, literally dont understand why TDM still exists in most games.
