People don't use the EMP and keep complaining about intel and ghillie suits of Echelon. I got so many assists by disabling them and letting my teammates get the kills. Also, the hijack can make the Phantom's shields yours too, so now YOU have the shield.
It's the best experience I have had in an online MP FPS in many many years truly but make no mistake it is HARD and you do need to stick with it but OML it is WORTH it.
It is so hard. I have some games where I go 35 and 10, but most times im going 20 and 15. Ive never played a "constantly jump" kind of shooter, so it's a hard learning curve.

For me personally, enabling the colorblind options increases the visibility quite a bit. Especially the one that displays enemies in yellow makes em stick out very well.
I cant shoot the shield Windows. Everyone keeps saying kill them, i literally cant? I cant even penetrante that damn Glass with a Tac 50. And No im Not Missing, had several shield enemies, got Clips, never worked
@@Rina_OW My new tactic also involves avoiding a lot of the things in the game. BUT: use EMP grenades! They fix all your problems :) before peaking or quick peak and then a throw if necessary out of cover

Hit reg is fine on console from my experience pc it’s pretty bad the only issue on console is you do die sometimes behind sold cover but that’s about it
big tip for factions if you ask me is that abillities do not share cooldowns. so if you switch abillitiy within a faction you always start your life with a fresh abillity. (usefull for healer clas since their abillitys are so similar)4
Yeah but you use your Ult. This is good information for after you cast your Ultimate, but also swapping your ability they have separate cool downs, so you can swap a ability for a 10 second cool down.
Really liking the feel of this game. I love to put on some tunes and run around playing the objective. Also fun to get into grudge matches against a good player on the other team and have a variety of skill levels in a lobby instead of all cracked sweaty demons. This is how a casual arcade shooter should play. Gunplay feels slick and the map design is top notch. Look forward to some bug fixes and additional content . I think it was worth the delay.
I’m fine with all abilities but echelon should just pulse once and tag all for like 3-4 seconds not pulse every second for like 15 seconds. Such a bullshit ability
@@jacksgames1 nah even one idiot using it with half a brain stem can just duck a corner, press the button and know exactly when you’d push. It’s the worst ability to abuse since it goes off, free Outrider vision specialist pulse/uav on a 30 second cooldown and a recon/Serath ult for the vision goggles. Doesn’t help the kit also has a built in silencer where it literally masks ALL MINIMAP presence regardless if you use a silencer or not. Bloated specialist
True true. People still don't know how to counter it yet. They get all confused and run back or try to just spam the shield and end up getting bashed with it.

@@Mikdefish I agree bro 💯 I can see why they’d want it the level it’s at currently with it being a multi year supported game, they don’t want everyone unlocking it all too fast. Same time tho if we’re getting a decent amount of weapons introduced throughout, I’d definitely like to see the xp changed so the current double xp is the new standard rate. I’d say I could confidently unlock attachments without worrying about the time investment before hand (say meta shifts to uninvested weapons for example)
The yellow tarps is a division thing. If you found orange or yellow tarps on the division games you could climb there. It helped a lot for finding secrets in those games.

Speaking on the iron sights accuracy being off I have had an extremely hard time being accurate with the Echelon 5.7 ult. Also something else that people haven't been talking about is loading into games in progress. 90% of the time I am put into a game in progress it is a game in which my team is getting bent over and absolutely destroyed with no chance of coming back.
ftr it's a greatly appreciated accessibility feature for a lot of people! it removes the sudden bright flash of white light that can run the gamut from "mildly but notably irritating" (speaking from experience as someone with mild photosensitivty) to "genuine health hazard" in more severe cases, while still achieving the intended mechanical purpose of blinding you. i'm glad more and more FPS games are picking up on this idea
extra tip ; when playing payload you can refill your tactical item ,go to the new spawn point and re-select your loadout 2- you can refill your ammo whether you are pushing or defending

Wish I knew mouse aim was bugged on pc since beta till now. High polling rate, high dpi and fps all influence the mouse aim making it difficult to aim for many pc players. Its completely bugged. I was wondering why it was so hard to aim compared to other shooters until I found out that many players experienced these bugs since the beta.

i don’t bunny hop and i manage to deal with them, but i agree with you. i think they said they’re nerfing it by adding lots of aiming sway/spread while jumping and shooting
small correction that i've noticed, The unlock levels seem to be consistent to the weapon class rather than universal. also sometimes you should definitely double check because i noticed for the m4, ext mag is at 25 (or something i dont remember specifics) but the AK ext mag is at level 30. just be sure to double check so youre not grinding unnecessarily 👍
One more tip- If a phantom is trying to push you with his blitz shield up. You can stick a sticky grenade on his shield and seal his fate then & there.
I find that throwing a crouch in is more beneficial since most people are bunny hopping. I have it set up for hold crouch like halo since this game really doesn’t cater to a toggle crouch control scheme with how fast paced it is.
24/7 cleaner here. Around 30h in cleaner. SVD with 5% dmg barrel does 98 damage on head + fire ticks 2 damage. Same with magnum. Fire does 2 damage per tick. Ticks 3 times 2 damage. Then u need to refresh it. Normaly target is dead all redy. Honourable mention for 2 barrel with fire. Insane one shot range. I think fire should prevent all healt regen until its off but thats not the case. Sadface. Would be cool to have cancel for those ulti medkits
Bro, I loved the beta version of xdefiant and was so pumped to play it only to find out I sucked compared to other players, I started today and have been using your tips and I drop 50 kills a game on average
My biggest problem is phantom having that extra health, i guess i just feel like health should be the same for everyone, i understand that every faction has something to it and i think echelon is the most op cause to me, intel will always be the best thing to have. But just something about a character having more health seems off to me
liked followed and subscribed. I was a big COD guy. I went from multiplayer to warzone. Only been playing warzone for a couple of months and its so hard to enjoy because of the cheaters or even the kids. Kids are so good lol
BTW for anyone getting annoyed or struggling against shield users the rpk is pretty effective at destroying shields although I can't lie it's kinda a pain to upgrade at first it's just bad but it gets better with attachments if you stick with it.
If they mess up the slide jump I'ma be very upset I don't spam jump like we're u are bouncing. But if the nerf to it come and effects the rest of how the movement air strafing feels I'ma be sadge
Something I don’t think he covered is snipers so when your a sniper load out what you wanna do is go on flanks and get sneaky shots and then rotate your gonna wanna be picking out the enemy’s or stay at a really far range and kill enemy’s that are trying to escort the payload and by your teammates time
You can only destroy the spider by looking down and firing with certain weapons and under certain network conditions. It is not an intended mechanic, its a bug in where the bullets are fired from. That motion can sometimes make it so your bullets are fired from behind you, which means you can hit the spider, instead of slightly in front of you, which means you cant hit the spider. In no way is it a reliably tip and for players with solid connection it may very well never ever work.
Hit registration and TTK/TTD is absolutely atrocious. I’ll sink 2-4 shots into someone to start a gunfight and then die in one or two shots from the same gun and when the death screen comes up they have full health. The game when it’s working is so damn fun but the network related issues are really hurting it
With Xbox you can turn off crossplay, but then your in-game input matchmaking is also turned off, so as an Xbox player you are actually screwed. So if it could be considered that Xbox players can change their settings, it would also benefit them
Man I’ve seen it time and time again where players expect everything on day 1 or even within the first few months. Just give it some time and be patient and we might be surprised with the results. Personally I think we got one here.
For those who don’t know! It’s 3x exp not 4x. It goes based off the boosters adding 100% extra exp, adding the second buff during an exp event just makes it add another 100% which is still incredibly good but not 4x!
I see alot of complaints about Echelon scans. A fix I think could work is make it like Paik from Bf2042. You still scan and get those "wall hacks" but it also highlights you when you are using it aswell.
Tht would basically 0 out the ability making it useless. What would be better is instead of it pulsing every second, make it pulse once but for a few seconds then it just stops
Has anyone else noticed similar layouts on maps to Treyarch maps specifically? Not a big deal it's honestly a good thing but it feels like they copy pasted map layouts and added extra paths that end up creating too many flank points

I always say if I know ima going to play this game consistently then I’ll get the pass. If I’m just trying it out and having a lil casual fun it’s not that deep
One thing that's annoying me is that granted, i am shocking and my k-d is low af, but there have been many many games that I've had the best objective and support score either in my team or across both teams but due to me focusing on the mode and not just acting like its Deathmatch, I'm near or at the bottom of the scoreboard, being ignored for the thumbs up xp at the end; despite me earning the points for us to win the game.
I think the factions are well balanced to each other but dedsec could use a buff on their first skill, i think people over playing echelon scout and phantom bubble are hard to handle but lib backpack or cleaner drone can seem just as valuable to the team im rocking w being able to switch and counter their faction. they like their bubble? well, dedsec takes it!
This game needs way more time so hopefully when preseason is over and the actual season starts we see (ALOT) of other things added there not enough in the game to even have it compete with call of duty..and I was excited for this game I played it for 4 hours and stop and that was launch and haven’t played it since 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ needs more time
why no one is talking about player collision?! is terrible especially when you run faster holding your pistol and your teammate have no clue why you are so fast but stays in your way 😭
6:30 Literally won a match this morning in Solo Queue b/c we were like 3 percent away. On coms I said "Everyone rush Dog w/ Pistol and just bunny hop around it" and sure enough IT WORKED LMAO. Only one of us left standing but it took about 6 extra seconds to kill us b/c we were all Energizer Bunnies (This is another reason this is getting Nerfed I would assume, it's literally OP to just bunny hop to capture points/Escorts sometimes....

Fiest couple days kept getting booted to start screen. 2nd day oit, i played 4 games from start to.finish. the rest i got booted from. Now, i still have that occasionally, but im getging the mag dump an enemy and they yake no damage junk. Shot a guy 3x with the tac 50, then dunped a whole mag of 93R into his back no no avail. And what sucks about all this is that this game is so fucking addicting whej it runs right. Cant wait untik its in a better place

xp boosters not only count real life time, but also expire after one match. i've been mostly playing hot shots games and on the 3rd booster I noticed that it disappeared right after the match, which was 11m after I picked it in the menu, clock at hand. I hate that shit

If you want to increase your odds of winning escort like crazy, run phantom with riot shield and flashbang. It makes escorting so much easier

The gun ranking is so slow since xp event ended I suppose in a way it makes It worth while

liked followed and subscribed. I was a big COD guy. I went from multiplayer to warzone. Only been playing warzone for a couple of months and its so hard to enjoy because of the cheaters or even the kids. Kids are so good lol
BTW for anyone getting annoyed or struggling against shield users the rpk is pretty effective at destroying shields although I can't lie it's kinda a pain to upgrade at first it's just bad but it gets better with attachments if you stick with it.

Something I don’t think he covered is snipers so when your a sniper load out what you wanna do is go on flanks and get sneaky shots and then rotate your gonna wanna be picking out the enemy’s or stay at a really far range and kill enemy’s that are trying to escort the payload and by your teammates time
You can only destroy the spider by looking down and firing with certain weapons and under certain network conditions. It is not an intended mechanic, its a bug in where the bullets are fired from. That motion can sometimes make it so your bullets are fired from behind you, which means you can hit the spider, instead of slightly in front of you, which means you cant hit the spider.
In no way is it a reliably tip and for players with solid connection it may very well never ever work.

To deal with B bop just have high strafe speed and aim high they jump into the bullets half the time

Hit registration and TTK/TTD is absolutely atrocious. I’ll sink 2-4 shots into someone to start a gunfight and then die in one or two shots from the same gun and when the death screen comes up they have full health. The game when it’s working is so damn fun but the network related issues are really hurting it
The health thing is a bug. They did get hit. Your perception is off if you believe you get killed by 2 shots of an m4 at full hp.
Those shields are super annoying to deal with so now imma have to try and combat them better 😂

Loving this game it's only my third day online. It's free, smaller file size, simple, fun, and addictive.
With Xbox you can turn off crossplay, but then your in-game input matchmaking is also turned off, so as an Xbox player you are actually screwed. So if it could be considered that Xbox players can change their settings, it would also benefit them

Man I’ve seen it time and time again where players expect everything on day 1 or even within the first few months. Just give it some time and be patient and we might be surprised with the results. Personally I think we got one here.

For those who don’t know! It’s 3x exp not 4x. It goes based off the boosters adding 100% extra exp, adding the second buff during an exp event just makes it add another 100% which is still incredibly good but not 4x!

the counter for phantoms health is cleaners burn ammo and the counter for that is the healing class it aint that hard

I see alot of complaints about Echelon scans. A fix I think could work is make it like Paik from Bf2042. You still scan and get those "wall hacks" but it also highlights you when you are using it aswell.
Tht would basically 0 out the ability making it useless. What would be better is instead of it pulsing every second, make it pulse once but for a few seconds then it just stops

Has anyone else noticed similar layouts on maps to Treyarch maps specifically? Not a big deal it's honestly a good thing but it feels like they copy pasted map layouts and added extra paths that end up creating too many flank points

One thing that's annoying me is that granted, i am shocking and my k-d is low af, but there have been many many games that I've had the best objective and support score either in my team or across both teams but due to me focusing on the mode and not just acting like its Deathmatch, I'm near or at the bottom of the scoreboard, being ignored for the thumbs up xp at the end; despite me earning the points for us to win the game.

I think the factions are well balanced to each other but dedsec could use a buff on their first skill, i think people over playing echelon scout and phantom bubble are hard to handle but lib backpack or cleaner drone can seem just as valuable to the team im rocking w being able to switch and counter their faction. they like their bubble? well, dedsec takes it!
That face gap in the shield is glitched. The amount of times I have put a sniper shot directly on it and I don't even get a hit marker.
It would also help if they unlocked the practice zone so I can get everything nailed down way more when it comes to settings and movements

This game needs way more time so hopefully when preseason is over and the actual season starts we see (ALOT) of other things added there not enough in the game to even have it compete with call of duty..and I was excited for this game I played it for 4 hours and stop and that was launch and haven’t played it since 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️ needs more time

6:30 Literally won a match this morning in Solo Queue b/c we were like 3 percent away. On coms I said "Everyone rush Dog w/ Pistol and just bunny hop around it" and sure enough IT WORKED LMAO. Only one of us left standing but it took about 6 extra seconds to kill us b/c we were all Energizer Bunnies (This is another reason this is getting Nerfed I would assume, it's literally OP to just bunny hop to capture points/Escorts sometimes....

This games fun, but swear to god connectivity is getting worse lol. Fiest couple days kept getting booted to start screen. 2nd day oit, i played 4 games from start to.finish. the rest i got booted from. Now, i still have that occasionally, but im getging the mag dump an enemy and they yake no damage junk. Shot a guy 3x with the tac 50, then dunped a whole mag of 93R into his back no no avail. And what sucks about all this is that this game is so fucking addicting whej it runs right. Cant wait untik its in a better place

xp boosters not only count real life time, but also expire after one match. i've been mostly playing hot shots games and on the 3rd booster I noticed that it disappeared right after the match, which was 11m after I picked it in the menu, clock at hand.
