- In today’s video I will show you step by step how to achieve a gold candy apple.
Things you will need:
Candied apples
24K Gold luster dust
Food grade alcohol ( Can substitute with lemon extract)
Small paint brush
Small cup
A all white apple with gold splatter would be beautiful 🤤 or a black apple with gold drips coming from the top and glitter !

I need help!
I bought a bag or Fuji and Gala apples to make my candy and caramel apples. I dipped each one at a time last night in soft boiling water with white vinegar for 15 seconds.
Then soaked them in ice water immediately after for a minute and wiped them off.
I let them sit out on my counter overnight like I read.
I went to wipe them today and the look discolored and brown in certain spots. What does that mean?
They also secreted red juice out of them.. They didn’t seem fresh from the start but I’m worried I ruined 20 apples now.
