- I analyzed the Sun & Moon Nakshatras of 75 top comedians and comic actors to determine which planetary energies express themselves in this industry.
I utilize the 27 nakshatras (lunar mansions) which break the 12 Zodiac Signs down into 27 Smaller parts (for example, an Early-Leo portion, a Mid-Leo portion, and a Leo-Virgo Cusp portion.)

BIRTH TIMES INFO
I use as many A or AA rodden rating verified birth times as possible in my research (which is usually a substantial portion). However, for many industries, it would be impossible to do research if I had to have the birth times, due to a lack of availability of them. For Sun nakshatra, this causes almost no issue since most days the nakshatra does not change (but when it does, I account for it). For moon nakshatras, moon shifts ~12 degrees a day, ~4 nakshatra padas. That means that even without a birth time, there are only two possible nakshatras that a person could have on any given day. I give 4 points for a verified nakshatra. I give 1 point per possible pada to the nakshatra of that pada for unverified times. For example, if someone is born on Mar 22nd with no birth time available, and at 12:00am it is moon in Ashlesha pada 2, and at the end of the day it is Magha pada 2, I will give two points for Magha and 2 points for Ashlesha. This finds the “average” area or hotspot for births. For example, in the Instagram survey, many girls had the possibility of being Ashwini/Bharani or Bharani/Krittika. After adding the padas repeatedly, things evened out to clearly highlight Bharani as most likely placement, so it ends up finding the “hot spots” and “cold spots” amongst the nakshatras anyways. Unfortunately, this is the most accurate I can achieve with the lack of resources. If you do not agree with that approach, you can ignore this video and wait for more birth times to come out in each industry, at about the speed of ≤1 per year (if you’re lucky), and wait a decade or three to find the basically same results. I just don’t feel like waiting and think a lot can be gained from working with and analyzing what we DO have available.

I had to come back to this video to see what you said about shatabisha and oh my god it is so spot on. There is a guy called Bassem Youssef who was interviewed by Piers Morgan about the gaza-israel conflict and he had the same shatabisha energy you described “making light of hopeless situations and suffering” and that secretive dominating energy that catches you off guard. Even the interviewer was caught off guard, he wasn’t expecting humor when all the other people he’d interviewed before were so serious and emotionally reactive. My mother told me he reminded her of robin williams and turns out he does have shatabisha moon. Honestly that interview made me appreciate and understand rahu energy, and how he manages to make the other sides arguments seem so silly through satire. I’ve never seen anything like that before and it’s pure genius!

I'm surprised at how accurate this was, I'm Ardra Sun and Shatabhisha Moon, and the way you described the latter was on point. I didn't know it was a way to express dominance but I usually try and make men I like laugh (it's a way of flirting and to get them comfortable or like me orher than physical attraction). I also can have a darker humor, and can use humor to passively convey a dislike towards something/someone, I also don't mind making fun of myself (pulling from my aloofness/air head moments). Also upon analyzing my humor I find that it's more on the spot, I've never tried to write it out but like Williams I notice it comes from some place within

I just watched a comedy show by Michael McIntyre, a British comedian - he was very good and I checked his birthday. He has Satabhisha sun, rahu in Swati and moon in Vishakha.
10:02 so true. It's even mysterious to myself, I don't know where my humour comes from or why I portray myself in a certain way to make others laugh. Also people either think I'm funny af or they hate it 😄 They have very strong reactions, no in between.
I can relate to this as my daughters and husband have some of these nakshatra placements and I feel like the fun police as I don't laugh as much at their humor and definitely feel more serious...

Alexa Chung could have swati moon and she always amazed me with her goofy humour. In my mind fashion, glamour and jokes were a surprising combination, but now I understand where it might be coming from. I find her to be surprisingly original, she is not trying hard to be funny at all.
@@Arginne you are right, I don't even know where I got the double swati from a year ago. Could be totally vishaka moon or something extra on her asc that makes her a little bit boyish and so tall or some planet in first or second house. But she is naturally funny, likes to dress in dark colors, is a tv host, works in fashion and has the green rahu eyes that all suggest her swati sun. So far so good, hope they release her birth time some day.

Ashwini Sun is common amongst modern day Hare Krishna sanyasis, a few are the youngest, earliest monks in that tradition.

purva ashda ascendent, venus in ardra, aswini moon, swati midheaven...(vedic chart)...i make people laugh all day....word spinning,,,,kind of like bugs bunny...dirty jokes come endlessly, cutting remarks, that are right on the nose...they can be either very funny to stinging depending on the approach and person i deliver them too...but usually i get away with them....puns, dead pan humor, ...i have quite a verbal bag...i often just talk though...and the way i put it cracks up at least one person hearing me if not most.

I have a shatabihisha moon friend that jokes in a very shallow way and his jokes are (obviously) well-thought through all the details
He also has a very controlled behavior which sometimes feels frustrating because he wouldn't even share why he chooses to act the way he dose.

As I tried to explain in the video regarding why I focus on moon placement in these studies, they are meant to show the foundational energies that support the industry, such as how these Rahu nakshatras stood out so much. The foundational energies then set up the potential for anything else in the chart that is important for comedy to "grow" into success. Having Ardra Moon, for example, seems to exaggerate your chances of succeeding in this industry no matter what placement you have of other planets, etc. You would look at many other things in the chart more closely to find if the person will really succeed and pursue it as a career, and maybe I will narrow it down more in the future, but for now these are focused on the moon placement's foundational energies.
And apart from nakshatras....does placement of rahu in a certain house or sign make a person funny / sarcastic?

Very vague as Nakshatras have padas which dissect the nakshatras into different behaviours/dignities also there are yogas which signal ability to use speech to entertain even more you can see comedic ability through the house aspects on 1st,3rd,5th and 10th houses.
Jasmine, by vague, do you mean specific? As blurting out that houses or padas matter more with no evidence is the definition of vague to me, sorry.
To come on my channel and assume that I don't know the associations of houses or about padas is very patronizing... I explain it in just about every video, but I guess you missed it, that you can analyze moon nakshatras as foundational energies of the chart that are most conducive to "growth" for anything else in the chart that leads to comedic skill. For example, Ardra Moon being a large percentage of comedians, if someone were to have Ardra Moon or any Rahu-ruled moon, that signifies a certain type of mind/emotions that are prone towards comedy, and THEN (since obviously not every Ardra Moon native is a comedian) further elements in the chart determine whether that will actually take place in the native's life.
I truly can't even believe I have to explain these obvious things sometimes because people are so eager to overcomplicate things, that any placement in the chart-- especially placements as important and foundational as the luminaries-- can be analyzed for patterns. Research like this sheds light on the nature of each nakshatra's functioning in our world, and is why certain nakshatras ARE traditionally associated with certain career paths, personalities, and behaviors, as traditionally the potential of those things CAN be seen in big part based on nakshatra energies. If you don't like the free research or resource that I'm providing and can't derive any meaning from it whatsoever (which is you're problem), don't use it. It's that simple.
