Wow this really describes why I'm so frustrated as I always see the potential in people as compared to what they are doing. I've always been argumentative and very rebellious and its gotten me into quite a lot of trouble. People also tend to jump on me and say I'm judgmental, which is ironically a judgement in and of itself - all the while I feel completely detached in my judgment but people project onto me their own tendencies and confuse my assessment with emotionally charged judgment. LOL

Well an assessment could include your personal emotions and world experiences depending on what you are assessing in an individual and usually an assessment results in a plain judgement which can also be a conclusion or a decision; it can be positive or negative....everyone is judgemental or else you can't be functional in the physical world. Basically saying what you want and not owning it is kind of a slick way out.

I have Moon here. When I wrote a rock opera that is a reworking of the Persephone myth, I was surprised at how much of Shatabhisaj's symbolism became major plot points. There's the Underworld setting, for starters. A 100-bloomed flower is the key that grants Hades the right to have a bride. Hades steals a lasso owned by Artemis the Huntress, to prevent Persephone from escaping the Underworld. Zeus refuses to intervene in the war between Demeter and Hades, until Poseidon (the Greek equivalent of Varuna) pays a rare visit to Olympus to find out why the seas have become poisoned.

this definition to apply ones self is interesting! My saturn is shatabhishaj. I think i have adhd and have a hard time learning all the things id like. italian, the harp, singing- anything that involves applying effort, i lose focus. i am also a painter who after two years of panting every day now has no where place to paint and can't seem to push myself to sell the work i have created.

My view on this nakshatra is sandwiched between the previous two- Shravana,Shravistha and the next two-Bhadrapadas. As it is made up of two words Shata and Bhishak.
Shata has common prefix Sha from previous two nakshatras and Bhisbak has common prefix Bha with next two nakshatras.
That's why this nakshatra has characteristic of introspecting and judging,as it is hemmed between two nakshatra groups.

I have underground Sun! 😱 Sun shatabisha moon krittika most then make a thoroughly critical person, a real pain in the ass. Everyone most feel offended by solely their existence. (I don’t have problems with authorities though.)
Magha and shatabhisha are not antithetical but rather Contra punctual any Nakshatra where there is a Rahu the opposite Nakshatra has to be e a Ketu because of the fact that the polar nakshatras which are placed in this manner are Contra punctual and usually complementing there are two sides of the same coin or two parts of the same coin they have a sense of Unison there was a sense of complementary relationship as well as a punctuality that is the reason it is like Shiva Shakti it is like Radha Krishna that is the relationship between satabhisha and Magha...... satabhisha is not the underground in the sense of been in the shadows it is rather that which is unseen unheard unavailable the not so obvious the one which is the substance which is that which is always present and always dominant but which escapes the ordinary perceiver it is that realm of the most artistically fault 8 the secrets of Monalisa the secret of the mind which Srinivasa Ramanujan head as well as the secrets of the universe the subtler than the subtlest which is not available two most that is satabhisha

Absolutely brilliant, well researched and thorough! How does the ascendant fair in Shatabhishaj nakshatra? My chart is an absolute counter cultural hot bed. Moon hemmed in tight conjunction in 12th house Capricorn with Rahu and Saturn, Ketu and Jupiter staring back mournfully from a 6th house Cancer.

I've Rahu and Mercury in Satabhisha. My mother has Saturn and Sun in this nakshatra. I've Moon in Punarvasu (Aditi's Nakshatra) and Saturn in Purva Ashadha (Apas/Rivers Nakhatra). Everything makes sense.

Okay, here's where the Tropical Vedic system excels over all other methods. I apologize for the post about my own chart but this is too insane not to share. I have the Sun here in the 7th house. We know that placement alone can mean poor health but the thing is, I have a birth defect at the base of my neck that has impacted my health on every level for my entire life (even though it took 50 years to be diagnosed.) I've done western tropical charts for over 3 decades. I've been dabbling in Sidereal for a decade now. Both systems have some element that points to a neck problem but they're so buried in details that it takes work to find it. This is a MAJOR part of my life and any astrology system worth a damn should make it blatantly obvious if it's truly accurate, right? Tropical Vedic is by far the most accurate method there is. I am sold.

Lovely video ...thank you...I have sun in satabhisha but I don't have problems with authority ...infact I intuitively feel my sun is pretty okay there- doesn't feel uncomfortable...maybe because my sun conjucts mercury( is at a higher degree) in purva bhadrapada...its interesting that they way you put it- rebel, subversive etc...because my mind was saying...its not that you subvert everything or rebel against anything blindly it's just that you stand with the truth...seeing things as they are is important and holds value for oneself( recognizing this is not true for everyone)and if this disrupts certain things then it does- guess I have a thing for the truth🤣...no change for the better or true understanding happens if you are not able to face the truth no matter how much you dislike it...maybe krittika moon and rahu(pada1) influence this.
