How to Learn the Nakshatras In Vedic Astrology

- A few of my major tips on how to approach learning the nakshatras to gain well-rounded knowledge :) This method combines theory/ancient knowledge with experiential, observational astrology in our modern world.
What are the Nakshatras?
The Nakshatras are the 27 Lunar mansions of Vedic Astrology (Jyotish), which are a way of sectioning the ecliptic relating to the Moon, like how is done with the 12 Solar Zodiac signs. There are about 2.5 nakshatras contained within each solar zodiac sign, and each nakshatra has its own additional planetary ruler, symbols, and deity, etc. to shed more light onto its energies. They are simply amazing, both manifesting intuitively and also extremely apparently in the physical world, in personality, appearance, and life in general. It is my belief and experience that nakshatras are the most essential and revealing element of a birth chart, and in learning them I promise you will expand the richness of your astrological experiences greatly.

I wish you could post more videos. Research gets tiring after awhile but while on path of discovering something, it’s just adds to the fire within. I love researching on anything and picking up hidden knowledge about lots of things till I get satisfied enough that I could sit on par with an actual expert of the topic and even debate with him / her as an equal. Then I move on to something else. I wish you could explore further on your methods of researching how Vedic astrology manifest in real life with real life examples. It helps people like myself with my current research in Vedic astrology as well.

I really find this approach to learning to be really effective. It is more of an active learning process, rather than a passive learning process (where everything is taken at face value and isn’t applied into the active world to see if has any relevance with humans, events or situations). I will definitely try to incorporate this into studying Vedic astrology and I must say that your videos inspired an interest in these Nakshatras more than any generic article could have ever did. since discovering ur videos, this morning immediately when i woke up i had an idea to grab a journal and document my journey understanding the nakshatras and documenting my experience of learning to interpret them myself. i purchased a new journal today and some pens to get started 📝
Just learn Vedic Astrology and lose the Tropical. Vedic is the original and is WAAAYYY deeper in detail than Western. Western is 30% where as Vedic is like 90%
I love the beauty and depth of vedic, however it doesn't resonate with me which sucks. I still enjoy learning it though!
@@brit_brat it's funny how a lot of people that say it doesn't resonate is probably because their chart is a really difficult chart and I personally understand because my chart is really really harsh. But none the less- Vedic is extremely accurate. However I actually look at both systems when I look at a relationship incompatibility because I've noticed some things in the tropical are extremely accurate. I basically use both

It’s interesting what you say about Cow yoni and how sacred it is in India but in the western world sadly, rarely are cows respected and are often used in quick production of meat for fast food and such. Which I kinda feel like porn would be the fast food of sex. Ya know? Idk super excited to learn more from you! Hi Claire ✨ I’m finding your videos so interesting! I know about western astrology but not Vedic - it sounds so much more in-depth! In western I am a Taurus moon but in Vedic I am an Aries moon. How do I find out which nakshatra I am? Do I go off the moon nakshatra for physical looks?

How do you find your dominant sign
what is it that determines what planet a nakshatra is ruled by? i'm new to astrology and i don't really get rulers in general, how do they come about?
When that planet is in a specific degree within a zodiac sign.
For example all planets with in 13 - 26 degrees leo that planet is in Purva phalguni, etc
how can i know what my dominate sign or nakshatra is?

Do you interpret D9 Navamsha charts? I'm so confused as to how to interpret mine. I know you have a shop page, but I was curious if that included the navamsha.
it should always be interpreted along with the D-1, but yes I consider it in all the readings I do :)

@@alia4770 It is not so difficult, Claire gave two things to do: 1) learn about correspondences, what each nakashatra corresponds to across various attributes - these come from the existing books and internet etc. 2) do research by observing the traits of nakashatra natives and experience before you conclude something about a nakashtra trait.

I'd like to know more about Vedic astrology, so Ima stick around this channel aha. I thought I was a Scorpio but now I've had my birth chart calculated & it says my sun is Libra. I was born October 23rd (a cusp). I was told my alignment is rare & interesting. I'm also a rising Sag & have a Taurus Moon. Someone on RUclips yesterday told me I'm pure Libra in Vedic Astrology & that is "Swati". I'd like to know for sure so that can I further study my traits & seek proper guidance. I don't understand why this person would randomly tell me that after I displayed that my Mars, Mercury, & Pluto were in Scorpio 🤔 So now I'm intrigued by his two cents on who or how I am lol Quite irritated tbh
My mam was also born on the 23rd of October. You are the first day of scorpio in current western astrology, but in Vedic you are libra because usually planets move back a sign in that system.

@@MiillieMesh The answer to that question changes depending on who you ask. Many say vedic is more accurate as it takes into account solar system changes among other things. Others say vedic is outdated in some beliefs such as malefic houses. I would say read on both in terms of life experiences and personality and decide for yourself. I found both of them to be super accurate and useful so I have given up trying to decide which is better hahs
