Hi Lynn, Thanks for the lovely vlog. I do sympathise with the bloating as I have exactly the same. I have done numerous tests eg:- gluten, wheat intolerance, etc :- all tested negative, if I'm honest Lynn I think it's age related. Our bodies as women change so much after the age of 50. I had the most horrendous menopause and I'm still suffering from different foods. I'll be 61 next month, and I just don't eat anything that I think will set my tummy off. Love the giraffe, you're little Ida will love it. She has such a lovely nanny. I'm glad you took some time out for yourself and Harvey and had a nice restful holiday. Lots of love. Karen. ❤XXX
Oh you could be right Karen, I feel so sorry for you, it’s awful,isn’t it. I’ve not had any tests done, I’m trying to manage it myself, and as you say, it’s got worse as I’ve got older so definitely age related. Ida loved it, she took it home yesterday lol, and we had a lovely rest thank you, much love Karen 💐🌹❤️

Hi Lynn i also have trouble when i eat wheat or anything with gluten in, its not my tummy that bloats but my sides, they are soooo uncomfortable 😮. I don,t eat very much bread at all nowadays but i have found sourdough bread suits me and i don,t get thd bloating with it 😊. Apparentley sourdough from a proper bakery is made different to supermarket sourdough bread so thats where i get mine & it can be frozen 😊. Another lovely video, loved jerry. Take care Lynn. ❤😊xx
I can’t weigh up if it’s wheat, yeast, or a mixture of the 2, I bought some sourdough bread from Tesco last week, it really upset my tummy, so I’m leaving bread out of my diet for a while, I’m going to try and make traditional Mexican tortillas, see if I can tolerate those because there is no flour, no yeast and no gluten, fingers crossed 🤞 I do miss bread 🍞❤️❤️❤️ Gerri is a hoot lol 🥰❤️🥰

I got him from Tenerife Milly, and yes I think I did well too, there were quite a few things I liked but I resisted lol. Much love Milly 🌹❤️
So love listening to you lynn chatting about this and that,i had tummy trouble last year with bloating,discomfort etc,i ended up having h pylori bug,was on triple medication for a couple of weeks,it could also be low acidity in your stomach, if you take a spoonful of bicarb of soda with water and you dont burp in five minutes you have low acid,then i take apple cider vinegar in water to put the acidity back,its improved my tummy bloating,this is what my problem is so i monitor it lynn,great video xxc❤

Glad you enjoyed your holidays and you don’t need to apologise for not filming during your holiday you needed the holiday. You were talking about IBS and gluten free I have IBS and have had it for years and then about 30 years ago I had severe bloating like you and eventually was diagnosed with coeliac disease so i can’t eat gluten at all so might be worth checking with your dr as you might have coeliac or just maybe an intolerance. Gluten free bread isn’t the best and so expensive. I love Gerry the giraffe he’s so cute I bet Ida will love him if you can let him go 😂. Happy Mothers Day have a lovely day 🥰💕💕💕

Hi Lin, I have stopped eating bread in any form for two years and my tummy is much better, I don’t think it wheat or gluten because I’ve been tested for both I think it’s the yeast in the bread. I also gave up tea and coffee. And I feel better for that too.and I don’t have dairy.
Well you’ve done well there giving all that up. I can’t give up tea, I have it black without sugar, but I like dairy in a few forms…💐❤️🌹
I enjoyed this vlog, we have a similar big shop to you. I find the gammon joint a good buy and always tasty, I will be interested to see the pizza on ciabatta , I use wraps but ciabatta would be a little different. Love the giraffe , they are fun aren't they, we bought a rabbit that repeats what you say, for Nellie at Christmas, "such fun " x

I have had IBS for over 20 years and like you have been on holiday then had a bad stomach, so i wont go abroad anymore because i started getting worked up worrying that i might have a bad stomach on the day we are travelling home. ( mind over matter but cant help it) hope the bread is nice and suits you, I might try it myself. Loved your tops and fell in love with Gerry, little Ida will adore him. So pleased you managed to get away. You do not need to apologise for not filming. I love bread, did try gluten free but it’s very cakey. Gave it up but slipped back, as you do. Got my sister in law staying as her husband died very recently. We have been eating for England😂 and my stomach is suffering. Back on the wagon end of the week. Also have almond milk it’s so creamy. also mostly have decaf coffee. X❤

Gerry stole the show Lynn 😂😂, I shall have to look out for one like that for my little Granddaughter 👍🏻. I also suffer with IBS, quite a few things I’ve realized over the years that don’t agree with me, popcorn is one (sorry), although you might be OK, I’ve a whole host of stuff I’ve cut out of my diet, things I really enjoy too 😢 strawberries, raspberries, broccoli, sprouts it sucks. Really enjoyed your video I found your groceries to be reasonably inexpensive compared to ours here in Canada, everything has gone so expensive. Anyways have a great week all the best Wendy 🇨🇦

You can tell you’ve had a break as you’re back to your perky self. So pleased . My husband had a pharmacy and one Christmas he got some parrots like Jerry. One day a lady ,who was known for her colourful language same into the shop followed by the Catholic priest! As you can imagine the staff didn’t know how quick to get rid of the couple of parrots. 😂😂

Hi love your channel. I'm gluten intolerant. You will find that there is gluten in so many things, like gravy powder , frozen chips ,most biscuits and cakes, you will have to read all labels it's a mind field .x

Hi Lynn my husband was diagnosed with Coeliac Disease many years ago after having endoscopy in hospital and he is even allergic to gluten free oats. Gluten Free food is expensive and you would be surprised at all the things that contain gluten and wheat. A lot of ice cream has wheat in ❤

You could go to Doctors for a blood test like my husband. They did blood test and suspected he was Coeliac so he was sent to hospital for an Endoscopy which confirmed he was. Yep he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in August 2019 as well.Had his prostate removed in December 22 surgery was a nightmare they ruptured his bladder among other things and left him with hernia and 100% incontinent but at least he is still with us and cancer free 😊. ❤xxxx

I’m so glad he’s cancer free but so sorry he’s been through so much. I’ll only go to the drs if I’m desperate, and I’m already having tests for things so I’ll leave anything else on the back burner for now. Much love to you and your hubby ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Lynn. I have the same problem when I eat too much bread. It's not only the bread but also what you spread on it! Best to do without it if possible and the. weight will come off as well. I do feel a lot more energetic when I go without bread and of course biscuits! 😢
