Lovely room refresh Lynn. After you have dried the leaves, if you soak them in glycerine , it brings out the colours and also stops them cracking and breaking and making a mess- they last longer too. 😊

Thank you very much Marilyn, Autumn colours make cosy so easy to achieve, and my furniture does lend itself to Autumn, so it wasn’t too hard. I’ve found books to be a very affordable piece of decor, and I just fell in love with the pumpkins, so much so, I’ve ordered 2 more 🙈 xx100% agree about the throws ❤️ feet up time on holiday ☺️

Hi Julie, I love books, and they’re so9 cheap from the charity shop, I always look at the book without it’s cover to see what colour it is underneath. You’re going to be disappointed Julie, the keys were just bought as they are, from a curiosity shop, so just a decor item, no use to them at all. I could have told a right story there couldn’t I hahaha 🤣❤️❤️❤️

@@Nanna-M it’s not unlike yours, my kitchen is white with marble but last year I had the windows dressed in a cobalt blue.
My bedroom is all natural cream with pink bedding and accessories and the rest of my house is naturals all cream and wherever there is silver it’s crushed velvet 🤣🤣
My sofa, my curtains, my blinds on the landing, my cushions and throws 🤣🤣
Not a great deal of colour in my house xxxx

I love my home Eileen, I’m always cleaning and messing about lol, my little Ida can trash it in 2 mins, but only 5 mins to put it all away bless her ❤️ I wouldn’t have it any other way ❤️

Looks fab - I particularly like the old books and book folding which I've fancied having a go at before but not got round to it - yet! When you were doing your coffee table I was thinking about how the wooden pumpkin coaster set I bought would look nice and lo and behold you brought them out 😃 Look forward to seeing your kitchen ☺
Oh you have them too Willow, we’ll I can see we have the same taste in some pieces then. The book folding very therapeutic, but I needed a lot of patience for the tree 🙈 I have a pattern somewhere that I ordered and never used, I’m going to dig it out, I think it was for a heart….you should have a go, I watched a couple of RUclips tutorials ❤️❤️❤️

I agree about the throw In my house we get so many visitors it’s useless putting my throws on. They end up crumpled and looking a mess.
Exactly Pauline, I keep mine mostly for Ida, and I must say that we do use them occasionally on a very cold winters night ❤️

@Nanna-M yes, it gets hot and humid, the highest temp was 41 degrees, thank God it doesn't happen often, but most of the time it gets about 32 to 35 degrees, it is horrible..
We have halloween, but it's not overly popular...we have spring now...😊

Hi, I enjoyed your room refresh, looked very autumnal, I only ever change the looks for Christmas. I have just baked your parkin, we have tried a little slice and it is yummy, I know you said its better after a couple of days but hubby says he doesn't think it will last so long x

Absolutely!! I don’t ask for a style, I show her a picture of a hairstyle, and then just explain if I want any tweaks to it, but she’s been my hairdresser for many years, she knows what I like. I’ll do it on a GRWM video ❤️

@@Nanna-M As you know we are in Suffolk every other week and when we are home there are THE JOBS 😂😜🤣that always seem to rear their ugly head and looking after the younger grandchildren. The older ones are 23 and 19 now so now having an 11yr old and a 7 yr old it seems never ending and expensive. I love them all dearly but with parents it's been non stop. So as much as i love what you do and have done, which all looks beautiful i haven't done anything. Yes my home is very minimal but i love seeing your home, it's so tasteful and beautiful and far from over the top. Brian has an ongoing illness that's why we're away a lot. I had to do Dubai, Australia and Singapore on my own last year, which was amazing and met some lovely people. Got Brian to do a German river cruise in July which was lovely. Not too many people and amazing food which he loves, he's the cook. Thank you for sharing your ideas etc, really enjoy watching you. Please don't tell me about your past, todays what's important and i love you for that, plus that's your business ❤️. Hope all going okay with your health. You're very talented 🤗💞🎃

Hi nanny, you go to RUclips on your tv, and then put fireplace in the search, and it will come up with a few fireplace options, try it and let me know if you managed to get it, make sure it’s one of the free ones ❤️❤️❤️
