I’m becoming hooked on your videos and every time I’m thrifting I think of you and things you say! For example today I found a glass water pitcher that I was considering and I said to myself “I better put this in my buggy while I think about it!” By the way I’m from Ohio and we call them shopping carts, but now I find myself saying buggy instead! Love your channel!
Southern girl here, and have always called them a buggy. 😂
Thank you! I’m glad you’re here.
As a Believer I keep Passover and not ‘Easter’. I do love to decorate to stay in tune with the seasons but just this past year I didn’t find myself loving all the major change ups so I decided this year to just enjoy fine tuning my regular decor with just enough to nod at the current season. Whew! I think I have worn myself out doing the big change overs with each season. I love fall so much that in years past I even change my curtains to match for fall but I have just lost my energy for quite such a hullabaloo!
Looks too thick to be cheesecloth but…I’d use it as Cheesecloth but sometimes I use what they used to call flour sack towels. Love that plate holder you took home.
Thank you 😊!
Julie, I have 2 great friends and my daughter who go thrifting together . 93,78,68,and 44 good ages lol to hit the trail. We've got so many good memories. Both called me yesterday to tell me ,while we were working they were shopping, but saw a dress that I would love. We r so blessed. Keep those videos rolling. We also enjoy both of your daughters videos. I encourage everyone to also follow them.
Thank you! 😊
🤣 The "pot plant" incident gave me a great laugh. I've heard that my whole life and didn't ever think about that. That fabric might have been cross stitch material. I loved the plate rack and how you styled it! Thanks for your videos and sharing with us.
Could be the cloth they use to squeeze the milk from the curd to make cheese!
I have decorated for Easter for myself. My kids are grown.
Thank you! 😊
Hi Julie! You are still Number 1 in my RUclipss to watch! Would love to see more!
Awe, thank you 😊 I hope to start posting on Tuesdays again soon!
I decorate for Easter. I still make my 22 and 25 year old daughter’s baskets too. They will always be little girls in my eyes. 😊I love the matches in the salt cellar. Good idea.
Hello Julie. I hope you had a lovely Saturday. Great fines: green table clothes, blue pillowcase, plate rack, Reindeer candle holder, cute little Jello metal bowls, vintage salt cellar and Nice tops.
It was raining all day in Pennsylvania, and we stay home. Rested a lot. For Lunch I made Meatball sandwiches using the softest rolls from BJS Club. My husband made Beef Stew with white rice. I always decorate for Easter. The Dining room table is my main decorating spot is where we have our Easter dinner too. This year we are going to paint wooden eggs that I bought on sale from At Home Store last year. Always buy decorations on sales. I use the Spring flag outside and decorate the front yard too. Blessings.
💖💞💖
I always decorate for Easter/Spring- after Easter I just take out the pieces are definitely Easter themed and keep the spring pieces out👍
Love the pillow case’s, match well with the quilt. What a fantastic idea for the salt cellar, very cute and the plate rack . Have a wonderful weekend Julie ❤
Our goodwill stores do not have bathrooms for the public .
Yes little vintage jello molds. I have a collection of them that I display in the glass bowl of my kitchenaid stand mixer 😄
I think the fabric was for bandages, and I laughed at the pot plant container 😊. I do recall when you said that😁
I said it so much lol.
I think it's wound bandage, I have my apartment decorated for Easter then take that down decorate for Spring. I just love watching your Thrifting and Haul then Decorate.❤
Thank you 😊!
Love your videos please keep them coming
For anybody old enough to have watched Captain Kangaroo, that clock-face plate looked very like Grandfather Clock's face!---That fabric looked like vintage curtains to me! The weave was too open for cheesecloth, & way too stretchy for injury management.---Your Goodwill has an actual room to wash your hands in? Very few places in my town have public restrooms. The bigger stores do, the grocery stores do, but the smaller places, including the thrift stores, do not.---I really liked your variety of music tonight! (I liked the plate rack on the upper shelf.)
I loved Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Green Jeans!
@@sassysquirrelstash1612 Good morning to you, fellow fan of Captain Kangaroo! So many of the books he read I've purchased over the years...Millions of Cats, Stone Soup (my favorite!).
When you said pot planter I knew exactly what you meant. If course I'm Southern.
I always used to decorate for Easter first year I didn’t lol
The material is for medical purposes
Hi Ms Julie !!
What an imaginative use for salt cellar !! Love that !!!!! So pretty !
Love the shelf with the Jello molds (and all else) on it too !
Great shopping .
Btw / that looks like cheesecloth.
Have a great weekend and week ahead! Thanks fir this! Love to shop with you.
❤xx
Thanks so much! 😊
Hi Julie! I always decorate for the season instead of the holidays (except when it comes to Christmas, then I go crazy 😊). Hmm in fact I need to put my Springtime decor up. Btw our Goodwill store keeps their Christmas stuff on the first aisle year round. You have a great day ❤!
Boy the prices were all over the place at that GW. Never heard the term salt cellar, but liked how you used it. I'm looking for a plate rack like that to put my few record albums (just got record player) in. Loved the little primitive reindeer.
Julie, your haul at Goodwill was fantastic. Everything you found is very useful. Hope you and your family have a great weekend. Take care.
Cookie in Mandeville Louisiana
I have a set of about 10 of the jello or tart tins I have thrifted. I just saw a magazine(which I also thrifted 😊) where they put succulents in them! I enjoy your ideas and videos! The salt cellar match holder! LOVE!
Hello so happy you are OK with goodwill but , around Bush Airport is getting high and high $, still a lot people who go a grabb expensive staff and then resale, as goodwill is getting expensive, I'm prefer go to ross, or family, wich is not cheaper, so happy you found staff by goodwill, and I'm decide don't donate anymore to goodwill.
Hi Julie! I decorate for Easter in every room ! I didn’t put up my Easter village though. Love Spring and Easter! Jesus is Risen! Another idea for the cheesecloth is to cover vents (to catch dust). Thank you for your videos! They are fun to watch to see how you plan to style the treasures! Those metal jello molds would have definitely come home with me! The navy pillowcases look great on your bed!
Thanks for taking us shopping with you, 😢and I do believe that was cheese cloth. Lov😮e the salt cellar.Have a great a great weekena, and bless you and family.
Enjoy your videos! I have to visit your goodwill store one day. I am about an hour away! Our goodwill gets merchandise from Memphis Tennessee.
Pot plant is very cute. I live in the coal region of PA. We have some sayings too. A vacuum cleaner is a sweeper, a creek is a crick and cabbage rolls are called pigeons.
Oh how fun!
Looks like bandages to me.
The salt cellar, is probably for toothpicks.
It’s made for Salt originally but I thought about putting toothpicks too! Thank you! 😊
Hi Julie, the fabric looked heavy, so I think it was bandage material. I love finding Christmas all Year. I always pick up the muffin tins and individual jello tins, I just think they are cute
I think we need to meet in the middle from we live and go thrifting. I am in Alabama. I love the things you find and then style it. I have not put any Easter decor out. The totes are on our porch just waiting there. I found a small decorative jar with lid and made me a match cloche. I love it... Lot cheaper than buying retail. And mine is pretty like yours, too.
I’m always down to thrift.
What is the best product to use to sanitize things that are NOT clothes or anything to put in a washing machine or a dishwasher. What products exactly are best to use?
For example, how would you sanitize used shoes, used backpacks,
toasters, books, or just household things. Thank you.
Picture frames can be used as trays! I wrapped the back of one with my grandma’s handkerchief with the glass protecting it! You could do a collage or decoupage the back of a piece of cardboard. This year I decorated for spring which I haven’t done in a decade!
Collins Street Bakery is the only fruitcake I will eat ......and I am from the North East!
I understand the narrow aisles. One of ours has those narrow aisles. I see your Goodwill also thinks highly of itself. The prices are ridiculous.
Loved the salt cellar, reindeer and I would have grabbed the angel trinket dish. Those tops were cute and the shelf on your backsplash is a great idea. Did you hang it with the Command hooks?
Always enjoy your videos. Look forward to watching them. Thank you for sharing!
You have such a great way of seeing things, Julie. I love how you used those molds, just sitting on a shelf like that. They look awesome! Have a great weekend! 🙂 Oh, and I absolutely DO remember the "pot" plants. hee hee. So funny. Around Eastern PA/NJ, it's called "potted plants", so when you initially said "pot plants", I stopped in my tracks for a minute. 🤣🤣🤣
WOW their prices are way to high on a lot of things you showed and the picture frames my goodness you can but Those frames all sizes brand new right now at Dollar Tree for a $1.25
We don’t do anything for Easter, our family doesn’t speak to us, we are working at our church, we have 3 services and I do the coffe bar and greet all three services, so we will be tired, my husband does security
The double handle sipping cups are great for little guys. Yes society can be a little bit rude. The green table cloth was a good find, I really like the rack for your plates. I'm glad you picked up the Jell-O molds. The cut glass salt well was a great find.
Julie, have you checked out the Desert Industries Thrift store in Houston? I just saw it, I haven't checked it out yet.
During this season I’ve seen decorators drape the cloth over crosses in recognition of Easter.
Was that a McKenzie Childs replica?
Just a thought. Keep all your Christmas items you are thrifting throughout the year in one spot. Then when it’s time to decorate with them do a video. Love your videos and you!!!
No, don't decorate at all....I am on my own, no family at all, so just not into decorating for any holidays. Don't even have anyone to spend Easter with and I do not have a car. No bus service either on Easter.
I don’t think it’s cheese cloth or bandage bandage would be wrapped up because it would have to be sterile. Cheese cloth is much thinner. Maybe someone else will tell you what it is.
Hi Julie
In Australia we call it a pot plant! Love your videos. Cheers from Australia
I used to decorate for Easter, I just haven't had the desire or energy to decorate this year. It wears me thin. Ugh I feel your pain, some days I can't get up after bending down, my knees feel so weak sometimes.
Looks like something that you would have seen in Captain kangaroo from the clock I don't know if I would have painted it or anything like that it reminded me of when I was a little girl watching Captain kangaroo
That log with candles in it would have been in my buggie.
Mine too 🥰
Its was so cute.
That was too expensive.
I'm with you. I personally hate clowns🏃♀️😬
LOL on the muslin material...I wrapped my son as a mummy one year at Halloween with it so with that much I'd say it was used as some kind of prop or mummy
Yes it is a salt cellar, I have two just like it among other styles. Good find Julie. DC
Looks like wound bandages because it’s too thick for cheese cloth, I love the salt cellar as a match holder you styled that nicely with the candle and tray. ❤
I think you could use that material for either or for both. Yes, the outside of our house is all Eastered up. Yes, that was for salt or pepper but you need the tiny spoon for it. Where do you live with your southern accent? Where do you sell your thing and what name do you go by?
The cloth looks like what is used in making Finnish baked cheese. Curds are strained through the cloth,
Cheesecloth. I saw an Avon girl in a thrift store recently for $6.00.
I'm fairly sure that was a salt cellar. I use to have one just like it but not sure what ever happened to it. I'd forgotten it until I saw it on your video. I'll definitely keep my eye out for it.
I think that may have been bandaging. I think I’d tea-stain it and use it in decor… or it
would make some awesome Halloween mummy draping! Loved the little tin molds on
that shelf❤️ “For pot plant”😅😳had me laughing! I have heard others say that and thought
hmmm?! Every area of the country has their own way of saying things. Here in MN, we say
“pop” , “hotdish” and “cart” where others say soda, casserole and buggy🤗♥️
I’m decorating a bit for Easter, a few bunnies, chicks and baskets (of jelly beans!😜)
Have a good week and a happy Easter to you and your family !🐰🐣🪺🐥🐇💜
Happy Easter! Thank you! 😊
Bandages 😊
I love your videos I thrift before but now I do it more after watching your videos I just love what you do with all the things you thrift
Don't believe that rolls are bandages, look like fabrics for draining cheese 🤷
Nice haul. Love your linen section. Great finds there. 👍💕
Bandages?
It was ace bandages. I was surprised that you didn't get the little creamer. It was so cute.
I did decorate for Easter when my kids and grandkids were younger but I don’t do it anymore.
Say “for potted plant” and may be less confusing 😂
Those perfume bottles would look great on a vanity
I love to go thrifting with you. I always feel like my buggy is right there along with yours.
I think it is a bandage….never noticed that you say pot plant but maybe it didn’t stand out because its legal here in Canada
I agree it looks too thick to be a cheese cloth.
Thank you! 😊
I think bandage material 😊
Thank you! 😊
How do you look like you could be one of your daughter's sisters. Tell me your secrets!
I put out pink tulips and white lilies in a silk flower arrangement for Easter! 😊
Great Video, like always! Tiffany, Thrifting Vegas has a new video today
Thank you! I don’t know who that is. Is it a RUclips channel?
Love the salt cellar. The plate rack looks like a rack for oven roasting meat. Thank you for sharing your time and talent!
Thank you! 😊
Thought it was cheesecloth but I really think it must be wound cloth. Too thick to be cheesecloth
We don't decorate for Easter since it's just my husband and me now
I need to send u to go thrifting for me you find good things and good tips thank you still getting stronger better you helped me decorate my new home and find things on budget u matter thank u blessed Julie
I look forward to Friday for your videos!
We call them Pot Plants in Australia and no I don’t decorate for Easter .
You got some great things today. I decorate for spring with Easter touches and leave it all up until summer. I have rabbits in my spring decor but not Easter bunnies. And it is never a bad time to put out a cross to remind me what Easter is truly about.
Julie those shower holder things can make great planters
I don't. Decorate. For. Easter. Just spring. Summer. Right. Now. I thrift. Pieces. At. Goodwill. And. Salvation. Army.
Love the deer candle holder. In my home I decorated with a wild life and nature things
stockingette used around the house for cooking, cleaning etc.
If it don't have a purpose it's for someone else my goal is if u can't use it. Let it go
If it don't have a purpose it's for someone else my goal is if u can't use it. Let it go
4.29 for that pretty frame. Big fat NOPE
Definitely not cheesecloth. May be some type of wound covering. Looks a little deep for a salt cellar. Could be a tealight holder.
Thank you 😊!
If it's elastic it's probably an ace bandage.
I vote for bandage.
Thank you! 😊
Yes, I decorate for Easter, but it’s early this year 😊
Just wondering why is everything priced with .29? What is your tax rate?
I’m not sure. They just started that about 6 months ago.
I do spring with a few bunny that’s all
Is it just me our prices a little bit high I know at our Goodwill. It is in Hattiesburg sometimes you can find a couple things but not much.
Sadly prices are high everywhere!
LOL. I'm in Ohio and we say potted plant.
