hello julie, i think the metal plate is a pewter mix. it has a stamp from a company in nürnberg/ germany, my hometown. and we g
had lots of such plates in different sizes. and pewter plates are used for bratwurste in restaurants there😃

There have been so many that have been sick lately, me included🥴 I'm sure many have told you the gold rack was a record holder, and yes pretty sure the little creamer was iron stone. I'm pretty sure that beautiful pink plate was depression glass! Lol yep my mom had several of the metal TV trays! I had the diaper stackers for both my kids, which have their own kids now. You really had A great haul today, loved all the pieces, especially that sconce, gorgeous❤ Great video today, thanks for taking us along😊

Yes the gold metal rack held records. I had one when I was young. The glassware is what gets me. I love cut glass and any kind of dishes with pretty little flowers on them. I also love the craft section and vintage stuff.
Every time I watch you thrifting I’m so jealous! I would have bought several things! Can’t wait for spring!
That musical rack is for records. I had one similar, but no musical notes on the ends.
My husband has one of those pocket change trays, passed down from his dad.
I use the little pie/tart plates to use under my potted plants on my porch. Looks much better than the plastic trays. I also buy ceramic planters from the thrift store. I've even used a chamber pot and soup turine as planters.

I have gotten to the point where I almost refuse to go to Goodwill anymore because of the ridiculous prices. If you go to any other thrift store, the prices are what we are used to and not jacked up. Often times those other thrift stores are church ministries or other charitable organizations that I feel good about supporting as well.

I’m so glad you are feeling better Julie! 😃 I’m totally jealous, I’ve been on the hunt for one of those brass change holders too! My grand dad had one, I got my love of brass because of him. I actually got a few pieces of his collection when he passed but not that one. My search continues!

Loved that pewter looking plate in the beginning and the Show Me the Way pewter tray, pewter was known as “poor man’s silver” and love it in my primitive decor. Yes Julie I hear green is the new color I just painted my dining room white with black trim but I have a cabinet in there that my brother built me 30 years ago and I painted the cabinet. It’s like a cubby cabinet mounted on the wall takes like the entire wall. It’s so cute. I painted a sage green and it really makes the room beautiful.

Welcome back Julie! Glad you’re feeling better. We all went down like dominoes in early November so I feel ya! Takes a while to get your energy levels back and all those chores are just waiting for ya to get there!I ponder as to how Goodwill prices things as well. Mind you- I still find some great stuff for good prices but just the other day, I picked up a mini nativity scene to put away for next year as I plan on incorporating it on a wreath. It had an original Family Dollar sticker on it for 3 bucks but you can get it at your local Goodwill used and abused for 4.99! I said…. Ah, NOPE!

That how I got started making wreaths and floral arrangements for my little "shop" I dont do it to make money its just a hobby of mine. I started making them for friends and family as memorial gifts. I was asked to help with wedding florals and thats when Simply Ellegant Designs was born. You can do so much with very little and no one but you will ever know unless you share the know-how. I love your channel for showing how old or used things can be made into something beautiful with some imagination and TLC. Everything you have done is breathtaking ❤❤

Hi Julie, glad to hear you are feeling better. Eye-spied soome vinatge "green" Fiesta plates, oh I would have snagged them right up!! Yes, that was a record rack. We (family) had two of them in our younger years growing up. 🙏🙂
It holds records. I loved that white precious moments cross- so pretty. I would've definitely bought that crystal pitcher and that beautiful white gravy boat. Such great finds
So sorry you were sick. I truly understand. I was out of commission for over a month with the cold/virus (whatever you want to call it) when it came our way. It was no fun! I think the brass piece with a music shape on the end is a record holder. - maybe 45's if not albums. Also, I loved that little white pitcher (creamer or gravy boat) with the embossed heart and flowers on it. I was so glad you got it! Blessings, Janell

Hi Julie! Welcome back to the land of the living! We really missed you. That was such a great haul you showed us. I caught a glimpse of a maroon sugar dish that I think would look gorgeous as a candle. I remember the diaper holder. When my baby sis came around we didn't have much room. So she had a diaper holder and a bassinet for sleeping til we moved. You have a great day and we'll see you soon!❤

I’ve been on the hunt for long handled tea spoons. They don’t come in newer silverware sets, anymore.. I’ve been lucky at goodwill to find several.

The music note rack is probably for the smaller vinyl records. I used to have a similar one back in the 70s, but mine was triangular.

Glad you're feeling better. But just so you know those two plates you looked were pewter. I could tell by the markings and the town that they were from Germany. However I don't know why that one was had a yellow tint to it, maybe someone used a metal cleaner that damaged it.

I had to smile when you were talking about how much you like green, as you picked up a cranberry glass candy dish. I have that same candy dish in GREEN! 😀 It was a wedding gift in 1968. So glad you are feeling better. 💝 BTW, the initials on the brass apple could stand for University of Texas at Dallas.

Julie, didn't your daughter decorate Christmas with gingerbread men? If I'm guessing right, should have picked that up. Also that little wooden box with all the little pegs on top. I believe it was for spools of thread. And way back you mentioned on doing a little vignette like that, with the vtg sewing items you bought. And yes that music note stand was to hold records,45s I believe.

Most of those items I would have picked myself .. I know I used to have that brass change dish. I don’t know if I decluttered and gave away a lot of my brass. People say you have too much and then I feel bad and get rid of stuff.

My Goodwill trip this week was soooo disappointed. The prices are getting so disappointing and the merchandise is as well. I’ve noticed a lot of negative comments about the damaged and prices also. I hope Goodwill is taking notice of these comments.
